So there's a new Yoshihiro Tatsumi book coming out!! Excitement! Woop! I missed the film 'Tatsumi' which was pretty idiotic of me, but rest assured I'll be owning it asap!!

I went back t'fens yesterday, I had a nice time with my big sister. Then I came back today. When I was on the train I listened to Massive Attack's Heligoland. I thought of a picture. So I drew it just now. I'm pretty pleased with it. Surprised myself.

I apologise for the shoddy quality, I intend to buy a new machine next month.

Not really on the case art wise yet this year!!
I've got a day off tomorrow, going to enthuse myself by getting some new pens or something. Mission to Cass Art (might also sneakily go to Fopp, haven't bought a film in FOREVER). Anyway, got some drawings stashed. Will do my best to scan tomorrow.

So I did a drawing.
Actually I did two. But I'm tired and lazy.
I roughly cleaned one so it's respectable enough to show you guys.

Will do them both properly another day. Soon.

My sister's coming to stay tomorrow for a few days. I'm excited. We're gonna do the Natural History Museum and The Zoo. And possibly the Wellcome Collection on a (vehr cool) friends recommendation. Then, in a short period of time, it's my Dad's Birthday! Yay! SO I get to go to Porthleven. Fresh memories to make and ting. I am VERY excited about everything at the moment. PLUS. On Monday I'm even going so far as actually socialising.

Please. Guys. Try not to soil yourselves in shock.

I am happy. Life is good. I get dolls in the post next month.

It's Christmas very soooon!
I went to visit Elly yesterday night, I had a very nice time. She and her Boyfriend have a properly cute little flat and I am very jealous. I stayed overnight and as a gesture of goodwill, while they were at work this morning I did some cleaning for them! They were pretty pleased. This way they can get on with Christmas and not be bogged down with other things so much. I will miss them this year.

I came back this morning. I made my younger sisters present, my Secret Santa present for work and some gingerbread for my landlord. I've also pretty much packed for my trip to Dawlish on the 24th.

In the last 3 years I have felt lots of things, mostly I felt content, but you know right now, recently, I've been genuinely happy (I haven't felt like this probably since CRC, weirdly). Sure there are things I will work on that aren't how I want them yet, but I'm living independently, I'm working, I'm doing what I enjoy. Life is good. My gingerbread however, isn't...!

Today at work I snuck in some nifty costume designing..

Won't arrive until Feb probably but it gives me time to actually make an outfit.

OH MY GOD. Seriously.
It's the one I previously posted about, and because it's Christmas, special deal, I paid a little extra to get one of their new mini dolls... I seriously could not help myself!!!!

Both will be nude, but they'll have eyes and the big one will have a face-up already done.

I just had a total panic.
I thought Tate would thieve money from an account I have no money in and then I'd owe a million pounds in interest to the bank. But I don't. So that's all. Quite a relief.

I don't think I'll get everyone's presents finished in time for Christmas. So far I've made a wrapped two, 6 more to go.. Fortunately as well as today off, due to covering other shifts at work, I get Saturday off too! So shit's going down then.
Also need to do a squillion Christmas cards.

I have been kind of good today though, I went to Tesco and didn't buy the really cute Christmas glass but I did buy stuff to make gingerbread. Then I super tidied my room.

Very much looking forward to my December Pay.

(plus my train tickets for going home over Christmas came today and a card from Leanne! Happy days)

YEAH. So. Just had the last two days off. It's been nice. Today I went to explore the Stratford City Westfield with a good friend. It was coooool. There's a lego shop. A LEGO SHOP!
Yeah. Exactly. I bought none though. I did get toy stuffing and Christmas decorations for my little tree though :)

ANYHOW. As a graduation present, my little sister bought me a Furreal Friend. It's like he's REAL! Seriously. I think he's adorable. I properly want a collection now.

Ha ha, so I thought I'd be proactive and take the rubbish out. Figured I'd only be a second and so with no shoes or socks, and with a towel around my freshly washed hair I skipped down the stairs, out the door and triumphed over the dustbin! Only to turn and find myself locked out. I'd like to blame the wind, but basically. I'm a dick.

SO! After panicking for about 2 minutes, I went next door. No answer. The other side neighbours are kind of scary. So I went back to the front door and panicked for another 2 minutes. Having completed this one, I tried the next door down, which, fortunately was answered by a really super nice lady who let me use her phone and internet to contact Krpto Security, who are based in Leytonstone. They were really nice, told me how much it would cost and that they'd be there in 15-20 minutes.

In the mean time, I had a lovely chat and a good cup of tea (my nerves were a little shredded, I clearly don't deal well in these situations). I found out that my savior helps to organise and run (as well as being an artist herself) the Leytonstone Arts Trail. She invited me to take part sometime, since it's free for those living in Leytonstone. Also, she gave me a flyer for an exhibition which opened yesterday, and I might go and investigate tomorrow on my day off. An artist called Cos Ahmet (such a cool name!). The work is being shown here, so you should totally take a look.

Yeah, so pretty slow progress right now, I doubt I'll sell anything much before Christmas. That's ok. I'm having a nice time. Here's a little preview. Pretty cute I think. Although he's much more chubs than I anticipated...

Today I thought I'd do something that might be considered useful. I took a trip to Tesco! It's closer than I thought, a mere five minute stroll! Although, I did go the wrong way when I left so.. Ah, my sense of direction and how atrocious it is.

I did buy this properly cute cup though! When I moved here and unpacked I realised I actually had no cups. Not one. So OBVIOUSLY I had to get this one.
I should totally get some apple juice next time...
(I also bought a pan. Get me.)

Also I bought it because I'd seen it before and it reminded me of that bit in Ghost World, when Rebecca's like OMG awesome cups! And then Enid is like. WHATEVS. And then they aren't really friends any more.
Plus I love Steve Buscemi. HERO. A lot.

I thought I did a good job throwing out stuff and trying to be non-materialistic. I'll be honest, most of it is books. I seriously could not part with them. Still, so much stuff!!

Also. My beautiful piano. No way I'm leaving that behind.

Going to sign contract tonight and ting. Moving tomorrow! I even dreamt about it last night. Which was weird but not bad.
Also, it's official, somehow I am going to scrape together £185 to get the coolest BJD ever, more cool even than the Cheshire I never bought. Curious? Doll Chateau, the full sets are sold out, no surprise there, they're AMAZING. I'm thinking Erica here. Also, I want to do the face-up and blushing myself.
