I'm trying to rescue some old pictures that didn't get imported from my VOX blog. :)

I truly love and recommend Silk Natural lipglosses. They feel very comfortable on the lips and the colors are flattering and natural looking. The taste and smell are also wonderful. :) I love the colors of Lumiere's Lumi Lips too, but unfortunately they tend to dry my lips out.

I know that The She Space is closed now, but I like to put these pictures up anyway. This was one of the very first mmu brands I ever tried and it contributed to convert me from using regular cosmetics. :) Here are some swatches from the regular line and a few of the many, many limited editions. :)

I really like the relaxed and classy style of LaurEss webshop and i find their products to be high quality too. I use the glows regularly and the eyeshadow collections contains a wide rage of colors and finishes.

Here goes some swatches from 2008, and I'm not sure if all these colors are still around. They are beautiful, anyway. :)

Lumiere was, and still is, one of my favorite brands. I love their foundation, finishing powders, blushes and glows. Their eyeshadows are truly beautiful too. :)

I had a lot of photos in my Vox blog that didn't make it over here to TypePad. Only the ones that were included in posts were imported. So.. to save the swatches from being forgotten I will add them here.

First post includes Adorned with Grace, Beautiful Girl and Our Rock Minerals. They where taken in 2008 and might likely contain colors that were limited and are not available anymore.

Here goes the first three photos and there are many more to come... ;)

OK, so this is TypePad... I've finally succeeded to export my Vox blog. I've tried to make this place as cozy as possible. I haven't been blogging for over a year now, but I don't want to lose my posts and swatches and I think that they still can be helpful for other mineral makeup addicts. :)

The Deep Purples - eyeshadow swatches

I realized that I have many mmu samples that look similar in the bags so I made some comparison swatches. For some reason I tend to sample similar colors from many brands. I can't resist a beautiful purple color when I see one... LOL

I noticed that some of the colors where very similar to original micas from TKB Trading and Coastal Scents. It may not be very obvious from this picture but in IRL this was quite clear;

9. TKB - Patagonian Purple = 6. Taylor Made Minerals - Knockout,

10. TKB - Grape Pop = 4. Pure Luxe - Grape,

18. TKB - Black Amethyst = 15. Pure Luxe - Utopia.

My favorites turned out to be these;

5. Ocean Mist - Exotic Purple and 14. Aromaleigh - Still in Hollywood (warmer plummy tones)

7. Dreamworld Minerals - Bocan and 13. Archetype - Memento Mori (cooler blue based tones).

I haven't updated this blog for a long time, but I have been doing some shopping... :) I have mostly been using neutral colors lately and the quest for the perfect taupe goes on.
