The Indians announced today that Eric Wedge has signed a three-year contact extension to remain as the Tribe's skipper through 2010. Both of his options were picked up for 2008 and 2009 and the extra year was tacked on at the end. No word on whether additional options are tucked onto the back end of this deal as well. The Indians placed Aaron Fultz on the 15-day disabled list with a right intercostal strain and recalled Edward Mujica from Buffalo to take his place in the bullpen. The move is retroactive to June 23 which makes Fultz eligible to come off the DL on July 8. More in the next CIR.
