This question raised in my mind after getting some experience of having a Make Money Online blog like this one. It’s very difficult to apply income techniques to a blog or website related to the niche, which attracts Internet-Savvy people.…

The difficulty lies in the approach. You can’t just put Adsense code and get clicks. Most of the visitors know that the links with small description are nothing but the ads. So, there are very low chances of getting clicks as compared to Entertainment related sites (or blogs).

There are some ways to overcome this:

Direct Flat-Rate Advertising

This way certainly eliminates the element of clicking. If you think that clicks are also very important in this type of advertising, I suggest you to see my post about comparison between flat-rate ads and other types like PPC and CPM here.

But the main disadvantage of this advertising is the amount of efforts needed, if you are not so much popular. And there is certain limit on income also. You can’t convert your increasing traffic into increasing income, unless you increase ad-spot price on your site.

This also includes paid links. But you have to be careful here. You can be punished by Google, if you put direct links to non-related sites. Punishment generally includes lowered PageRank and decrease in the rank at Search Engine Results Page (SERP).

This type of ad is very comfortable, if you have high traffic site. The key factor also includes origin of traffic, that is, from where you are getting traffic. Most of the advertisers prefer USA, Canada and European countries.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book in the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the longest novel in the Harry Potter series, was released 21 June 2003. After the publishing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the seventh and final novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was released 21 July 2007. The book sold 11 million copies within 24 hours of its release: 2.7 million copies in the UK and 8.3 million in the US.

I have tried many PTC sites. Some have paid me, some that I have not reached payout and some that became scams.

As a general warning:
1. PTC/PTR sites that pay high amounts per click or high payouts would not be sustainable and most likely be scams. Which advertiser would be willing to pay $1 or more per click or email?

2. Be careful with sites on free hosting. If the owner can't afford a site, how can he pay you.

3. Scripts that are free or are easily hacked.

P2CDaily : Use FireFox. Ads cannot be viewed using Internet Explorer or Crazy Browser. They are looking into the problem.
