Clickbank is actually the largest affiliate marketplace on the Internet. While there is no way that we can possibly give you all that you need to know about Clickbank in this article, hopefully, it will give you a decent idea of what to expect from this affiliate giant and your quest for Internet marketing greatness.

Clickbank is really the affiliate marketer's dream come true. Back in the early days, if you wanted to sell one of your products online, you have to get your own merchant account and credit card processing. For new businesses, this was very hard to do with no credit history. It was rare to get credit for doing more than $1,000 in sales a month until you built up a reputation as a reputable business. The reason for this was because credit card companies were afraid of refunds for newer businesses, should their products or services not be up to par. Needless to say, this made it very hard for the new businessman on the Internet to get anywhere. Well, Clickbank came to the rescue.
They first set up shop in 1998. Their purpose was simple. They established themselves in order to give new businesses a vehicle through which to sell their products and services. Today, the Clickbank Marketplace has over 10,000 products and services listed. They handle all the collecting of monies to be paid for these products and services and cut vendors checks twice a month, unlike the credit card companies that pay you every 30 days.

Having said all that, there is really more to Clickbank than just collecting payments for you product or service and paying you twice a month. Clickbank is also a home where those who want to promote other people's products can go. As was stated about, there are over 10,000 products listed in the Marketplace so each affiliate has plenty to choose from. Sign up with the company, in order to become an affiliate is easy, and Clickbank's tracking system is one of the best on the Internet.

More From This Article...

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Steven_Wagenheim

Popeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04682582352926703035noreply@blogger.com
