Spring time here in New Zealand

Finally it's spring time here in New Zealand, time to start going out in the garden and plant some flowers. I really don't like winter, it's super cold and it seems like it slow me down because I feel like I wanted to be like a bear "Hibernate all the time" hahaha!. Anyways, I managed to get out and do something with kids during winter and even inside the house we still have some fun … in this photo I made a gloop for them to play and it's very effective it kills time :)

I include the recipe to make a gloop (For Mum who like to try this for their kids)

You require:

2 cups of cornflour

1 cup of cold water.

Pour the cornflour into a bowl and slowly add the cold water, stirring constantly. Stop when the water is barely absorbed by the cornflour.

Try to use your hands to see it yourself it feels funny and hard but it's runny…it's a funny feeling.

I hope you like it.

…Now, I look forward for the summer or at least the middle of spring it is going to be sunny and good to play outside with kids.

Blogging using Microsoft Word

Gush, it's been a while since i posted -- i got busy with my kids and now i am working at home looking after children. This is a good choice for me because i can earn money and at the same time i can spend time with my 2 years old girl, i make new friends and joined some conference so i can say this is good because it is keeping me in healthy condition and keeps me sane hahaha!.

Anyway, today i decided to share a few things i learned while i was not blogging -- i learned to make a fondant cake. I will post a few fondant cake i made from the very first time until last saturday for my son's 5th birthday.

I need more practice, i know -- but making their cake makes me feel good specially when you see the finish product it's very rewarding...the good thing is you can work of what you're kids interest.

Wife Earn More than Hubby, Can you Handle The Family Pressure?

How much of a career woman are you? There is always a topic when it comes with the couple where the wife earn more than the husband and many times it create pressure in the relationship.

I am not saying it happened to all couple, i am not working and stay at home mum my husband is the sole provider in my family. For some husband they are supposedly the breadwinner then here comes the wife found a job -- got promoted and now earning huge amount compare to hubby; At the first stage of couples life they're both fine then started small fights, then constant fight to big fight ... their are women who do not know how to handle situation like this but, instead intimidate the hubby, rubbing in their face that they earn more than him ouch!...of course Situation like this sure will start the fire, there are man who are intimidated when the wife is the one who brings more food on the table for some they can't be bothered or do not care but for some husband this is big deal.

I would like to discuss about how much of a pressure can be when the wife earned more than the husband, i have seen a lot of couple where when the women get a better job and earn better than hubby automatically get this feeling that in their home she have more earning that means she have more power over the head of the family. I was watching in the discovery where the mother is very quite sort of person until she was given a power to lead their group she became scary monster she was very aggressive, demanding and she's taking advantage of the power she's holding and that apply with some women in the family when the wife holds that position and i think this is wrong, the husband should receive the same respect, equal treatment no matter what the amount of money you bring in the house. There are husband that are not bothered but for wife who think that this bothers their husband then i think you have to learn how to handle this situation.

I know in this generation their are more career women than before, women want to help the husband but some have not handle this very well and ended up annulment/divorce, some women handles this very well and make the family more productive and more abundant than ever.

Have you experience this? please share your thoughts.

Oxford and Cambridge have now decided to remove the words CAN'T and IMPOSSIBLE from their dictionary.

Jessica Cox, 25, a girl born without arms, stands inside an aircraft. The girl from Tucson, Arizona got the Sport Pilot certificate lately and became the first pilot licensed to fly using only her feet.
Jessica Cox of Tucson was born without arms, but that has only stopped her from doing one thing: using the word "can't."

Her latest flight into the seemingly impossible is becoming the first pilot licensed to fly using only her feet.
With one foot manning the controls and the other delicately guiding the steering column, Cox, 25, soared to achieve a Sport Pilot certificate. Her certificate qualifies her to fly a light-sport aircraft to altitudes of 10,000 feet.
"She's a good pilot. She's rock solid," said Parrish Traweek, 42, the flying instructor at San Manuel's Ray Blair Airport.

Parrish Traweek runs PC Aircraft Maintenance and Flight Services and has trained many pilots, some of whom didn't come close to Cox's abilities.
"When she came up here driving a car," Traweek recalled, "I knew she'd have no problem flying a plane."

Doctors never learned why she was born without arms, but she figured out early on that she didn't want to use prosthetic devices.
Jessica Cox, 25, earned a license to fly airplanes on October 10, 2008. Jessica also has two black belts in Tae Kwan-Do, a college degree in Psychology, and a thriving career as a motivational speaker. What doesn't Jessica Cox have? Arms.A bilateral congenital limb deficiency doesn't stop Ms. Cox from achieving and surpassing her goals. From birth on, her feet became her hands. She can drive a car, type 25 words per minute, and fly an airplane using her feet, without any special adaptations. She is the first woman without arms to earn a license to fly.

"I highly encourage people with disabilities to consider flying," Cox said. "It helps reverse the stereotype that people with disabilities are powerless into the belief that they are powerful and capable of setting high goals and achieving them."

Jessica earned her Sport Pilot certificate after training with Able Flight, a North Carolina flight training company that specializes in helping people with disabilities learn to fly. Ms. Cox won an Able Flight scholarship and was able to train with instructor Parrish Traweek free of charge.

Every morning, everyday except saturday and sunday i drop my son to he's kinde and my filipina friend is picking me up because the kids went to the same school. She told me today that her son told her the "I don't like you Mommy" word and i can see that she feels hurt but she understand that her son didn't mean it. Kids at age of four started to show and tell their feelings toward something and i can really relate that "I don't like you mommy" word that come out in our little wee's mouth, that is because until now i still heard it from my son every time he won't get what he want.

Situation like this shows how deep is the understanding and love of every parent to their child.

Anyway, this is the only chance i got to post again, i said before that i will start blogging and dropping but i failed to do so...their are more important for me at the moment except today i don't feel like going out because the wind is very strong.

I will try to post again soon, i was thinking of posting some cooking recipe too.

I have not posting here for almost two weeks, i got busy outside. three(3) Christmas Party in one week for the kids, i also have done wrapping gift to my friends and kids. Christmas is really expensive and busy month but it is time to give and it makes you feel good to give and i am sure every one agreed :)

I got this email from my cousin in Canada, it's been awhile since i heard from her, and i love what she sent to me.

I will ask you a question, How often do you say to your love one's "I love you"?, I remember one Mum that i talked that she says she always make sure to say i love you to her kids before they gone to sleep because you never know what will happen...Now i would like to share to you this touching email.

here it goes....

Daniel: I guess we are the left overs in this world.
Jasmine: I think so.. All of my friends have boyfriends & we are the only 2 persons left in this world without any special someone in our lives.
Daniel: Yup! I don't know what to do.
Jasmine: I know! We'll play a game.
Daniel: What game?
Jasmine: I'll be your girlfriend for 30 days & you will be my boyfriend.
Daniel: That's a great plan in fact, I don't have anything to do for the following weeks..

DAY 1:
They watched their first movie together & were both touched in the romantic film.

DAY 4:
They went to the beach & had a picnic... Daniel & Jasmine had their quality time together.

DAY 12:
Daniel invited Jasmine to a circus and they went to a Horror House.. Jasmine was scared and she tried to touch Daniel's hand but by accident she touched someone else's and they both laughed..

DAY 14:
They saw a fortune teller down the road and asked for their future. The fortune teller said: "My darlings, please don't waste the time of your lives... spend your time together happily." Then tears flow from the teller's eyes.

DAY 20:
Jasmine invited Daniel to go to the hill and they saw a meteor... Jasmine mumbled something.

DAY 28:
They rode on a bus and because of the bumpy road, Jasmine gave her first kiss to Daniel by accident.

DAY 29:
11:37 pm -- Daniel & Jasmine were sitting in the park where they first decided to play this game...

Daniel: I'm tired Jasmine... do you want any drinks? I'll buy you one.. I'll just go down the road..

Jasmine: Apple juice would be fine,thanks.

Daniel: Wait for me...

20 minutes later... a stranger approached Jasmine.

Stranger: Are you a friend of Daniel?

Jasmine: Yes, why? What happened?

Stranger: A reckless drunken driver ran over Daniel & he is critical in the hospital.

11:57pm -- The doctor came out from the emergency room & handed out an apple juice & a letter to Jasmine.

Doctor: We found this in Daniel's pocket.

Jasmine read the letter which says:

Jasmine, this past few days, I realized you are really a cute girl & I am falling for you.. your cherished smile, your everything when we played this game.. & before this game ends, I would like you to be my girlfriend for the rest of my life. I love you, Jasmine...

Jasmine crumples the paper & shouted..

"Daniel! I don't want you to die...I love you... Remember that night we saw a meteor? I mumbled something.. I wished that we would be together forever & never end this game. Please don't leave me, Daniel... I love you, you cannot do this to me.

Then the clock strikes 12
Daniel's heart stop pumping

THEN IT WAS THE 30th DAY...

To all the Mommy out there, have you asked a question to why God made Mums? Please read this and you will get the answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions:

What i like most is the question of What ingredients are mothers made of, number 1, what about you guys? and oh! please Enjoy!

Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the sticky tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3. God made my Mum just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of ?
1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.

Why did God give you your mother and not some other Mum?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's Mums like me.

What kind of little girl was your Mum?
1. My Mum has always been my Mum and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.

1. His last name.

1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.

1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.

Child - Choose Your Friends Wisely

As a mother, are you concern of who the friends of your kids are? There are some parents that are very involve with the life of their teenagers or even the youngest kids of your household. I read one parental magazine that one mother don't like her son to be associated with a certain kids because she noticed that her son have bad behavior learned from that kid, what should the parent do? you can't just tell your kids to not to play with that boy at school.

The other day, i was talking to the teacher of my son at kindergarten about her daughter's friends and she said sometimes even if you want to protect your kids, you still have to leave it all up to them and let them learn, you just make sure that you are up to what is happening to them and ready to be their on their side when they need you...despite of all the warning we give to our kids they still need to learn to make their own decision and let them learn from their own mistake i supposed this is the only way to learn, which is the same rules as us grown ups.

I remember my father always use this sentence to me to "tell me who you're friends are, and i will tell you of who you are" i am not sure if you agree with this or not but for me i think it's true.

I still have many years to learn how to handle when this situation comes anyways, my kids are still really young to be concern this stage but i would like to hear what some other parents can share and i will definitely apply them when this time comes.

Christmas is all about giving, family and love and my heart is always crying every time i hear or seen the kids in payatas as what we called in the Philippines smokey mountain. Please watch the video i attached and please give and support charitable initiatives, especially, Christmas For Payatas

Even if your not a Filipino or have not heard about Philippines, please take a moment to read and visit the site and listen and you will feel how unlucky this children ... your donation can make them smile this Christmas. There are many prominent supporters for the good cause, from footballers, politicians, celebrities, etc by helping each other we can make a difference.

The landfill in Payatas, The Philippines, is notoriously known the world over as Smokey Mountain. For over 35 years, the smoking dump site has grown to become a stark and heart-tugging reminder of the desperate onditions of humanity.

On a daily basis, children pick through newly arrived garbage to collect material to sell. The earnings made by one child are not enough to even buy food for the day. Hence, entire families are forced to climb the mountain each day, hoping to earn enough to feed everyone. Children as young as four years old are forced to work in this daily struggle for survival.

It is hoped that by creating better awareness to the plight of these children, more support can be garnered towards their betterment. Together we can bury poverty!

Mom, what is butt dust?

Its time to laugh, this are my favorites kids questions and i am sure Moms can relate this which even have something to add about their kids. I don't know if you receive this in your mail box aswell but i really love to share this to everybody. Enjoy!

Me First. My very first favorite is from my Son:
Anthony Rae (3) I have period and it's very painful; I was explaining it to my 3 years old son that i have period it's a blood coming out from mommy and sometimes it doesn't make mommy happy and it's very very painful and so my Son replied with he's very concerned voice "Why don't you call the Doctor then mommy?"

So now that you heard mine then here's the rest.....

What, you ask, is "Butt dust?" Read on and you'll discover the joy in it! These have to be original and genuine. No adult is this creative!!

JACK (age 3) was watching his Mom breast-feeding his new baby sister. After a while he asked: "Mom why have you got two? Is one for hot and one for cold milk?"

MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don't remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to
six ."

STEVEN (age 3) hugged and kissed his Mom good night. "I love you so much that when you die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom window."

BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a pain killer. She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: "How does it know it's me?"

SUSAN (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. "Please don't give me this juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth cough."

DJ (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much do I cost?"

MARC (age 4) was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging and kissing in a restaurant. Without taking his eyes off them, he asked his dad: "Why is he whispering in her mouth?"

CLINTON (age 5) was in his bedroom looking worried. When his Mom asked what was troubling him, he replied, "I don't know what'll happen with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit in?"

JAMES (age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: "The man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but his wife looked back and was turned to salt." Concerned, James asked: "What happened to the flea?"

TAMMY (age 4) was with her mother when they met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman her Mom knew. Tammy looked at her for a while and then asked, "Why doesn't your skin fit your face?"

The Sermon I think this Mom will never forget.... this particular Sunday sermon..."Dear Lord," the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. "Without you, we are but dust..." He would have continued but at that moment my very
obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, "Mom, what is butt dust?"

I love Glasses, either sun glasses or eye glasses as my fashion accessory that is because i can still read clearly. What i like most is that frames are now cheaper to replace and you can choose of what suits you. Say for example you need Holiday frames, you can choose a cheap frame that suits for this season that is not hurting your pocket.

zennioptical.com is a place where you can find a huge variety of frames, eyeglasses and more. I remember i was talking to my Mum last week about what she paid for her new eyeglasses that she's got, and i remember zennioptical right away, if only i got the chance to talk to my Mum and recommended zennioptical before she bought new ones but it was too late as she only needed to replace the frame and yet she ended up buying the whole eyeglasses which is so expensive. While navigating and investigating about zennioptical i found out that aside from a cheap price, it's also great quality and not neglected which is amazing not like some other company's who sacrifice the quality just to compete which is bad business and i have encountered a few.

I would like to share this...it's so funny and it's been awhile i shared a funny post here.

Remember Don't eat chicken sandwiches, no matter what...
A little boy and a little girl attended the same school and became friends. Every day they would sit together to eat their lunch. They discovered that they both Brought chicken sandwiches every day! This went on all through the fourth and fifth Grades, until one day he noticed that her sandwich wasn't a chicken sandwich. He said, 'Hey, how come you're not eating chicken, don't you like it anymore?' She said 'I love it but I have to stop eating it...Why?' he asked. She pointed to her lap and said 'Cause I'm starting to grow little feathers down there! Let me see' he said. Okay' and she pulled up her skirt. He looked and said, 'That's right. You are! Better not eat any more chicken.'

He kept eating his chicken sandwiches until one day he brought peanut butter.

He said To the little girl, 'I have to stop eating chicken sandwiches, I'm starting to get feathers Down there too!' She asked if she could look, so he pulled down his pants for her!

She said

'Oh, my God, it's too late for you! You've already got the NECK and GIBLETS!!!

Apple Cider Vinegar Diet

Last week i was looking a rice vinegar because i wan't to make home made sushi, i already have everything except rice or sushi vinegar. I only found an apple cider vinegar instead and thinking of using it instead ... anyway, i used instead and it's yum, delicious and i am going to make sushi again this week.

While online i look what are the other use of apple cider vinegar and found out that this vinegar is cures and an old timer home remedy, i just found out okay. I am learning everything around me, as a wife and a mother and i am enjoying it.

One thing i learned aswell about apple cider vinegar, i am not sure if it is true but base with what i gathered it's a use for dieting....their are few people say's it's effective, also a cheaper way of detox. For daily maintenance and weigh loss this is what they suggested.

2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar
16 ounces of water
Sip, don't chug!

It say's to drink before eating your meal. noting changes to ease of digestion, quantity of food intake and level of sugar cravings after meals.

Sore Throats

* Apple Cider Vinegar can be used as a gargle for sore throats. Add 1 teaspoon to a glass of lukewarm water and gargle 2 mouthfuls every hour. Swallow the liquid after gargling.

Skin - For skin complaints and to help relieve thrush, add half a cup of cider vinegar to bath water and soak for 15 minutes. Cider Vinegar helps to relieve itchy skin and balances the acidity of vaginal membranes helping to counteract the effects of excess yeast and candida problems.

Please don't take my word because i have not tried it, check online and you can read a lot more information about this vinegar. This week though, I just started adding the acv to my drink and i burped and farted all the time lol! see what happens.

I worked as Telemarketer and their are some people i called, asked to be removed from the list but their are some company's who did not do it or no follow through to their system and it's getting more and more annoying to people even me, i have experience that but i just learn to to cut their call.

Anyway, if you experience this you can report their numbers at www.reportphonenumbers.com their are many people have reported already and not just telemarketers, surveys etc...some are personal, some are scary, some numbers are just plain frank etc...please have a look and let me know what you think.

The Older, The Wiser Does It Still Excess?

As the old saying "The Older The Wiser" i still have the doubt in my mind. Our kids generation are now becoming smarter and smarter, they have many greater approach compare to the ways we do, the more we get older the more we run out of any idea of what this younger kids are talking about especially technology.

When i was young i always heard my parents keep on reminding me that "I am still on my way to my destination, whereas they are on the way back" basically it's "Been There, Done That" and now i can say that yeah! they are telling the truth, i am glad i believe them and trusted them....I can say i am a true believer of that saying They are old and they know better, i trust my parents and there intention is to protect me and for my own good.
Anyway, i just thought today that the younger generation is far different from our generation. I remember my step daughter and her friends being a smart ass, i know they are exploring and i understand that they seems to think that they are smarter than there teacher or the grown ups, i noticed my nephew he is really smart but he seems to think as well that he is smarter than the older people leave in the same house.

Does the old saying the older the wiser still apply to the younger generation? I wonder if they even heard and understand this saying?

I want to open this discussion to the younger reader (Student etc...) to share what you think about your generation? and also to the rest of the readers who can compare the older generation to the younger generation, share what you have noticed, your thought and have your say. Sorry if you can't see any of your comment because i decided to change back to bloggers comment system, i can't find a way to import your comment from the third party comment system to blogger so i think i will just have a fresh start.

I decided to do this to return the favor to my commentators using "do follow", and also to show my top commenter linking back to their sites. I really love my previous comment system but thier something missing ... i think it really true that there's nothing like home sweet home.

Again, i will make some changes here; geez....i know -- if your my regular visitor, you probably wonder why i keep on changing this site. I just coudn't find the one that i like yet -- not like my other site thebuzznutter which i am finally happy with the result and will now settle down maybe a few additional but not big changes.

Potty Training Your Child

How much pain is the potty training for you?

I will be tested in this matter again in a few months, my daughter is going to turn two and i want to start to potty training her, some parents have started earlier than two, while some parents are waiting for when the child shows when they are ready, but for me i started my son when he is two so i will do the same with my daughter, i think it's up to each parents. In my experience with my first child it's not hard, we just went with the flow and he is so quick to learn and i am actually enjoying the process, it's not such a pain as i expected but then again i know that every child is unique and you have to treat them in different way and what works with the other child, that doesn't mean it is going to work with our next child ... so, i am a bit nervous with my daughter, especially after my conversation with my friend yesterday with her problem with her son.

My Friends son is the same age as my son and they play together and even after kindergarteen. My friends problem is her son is still not ready to poo in the toilet yet, he just poop in hes pants and next year they will start primary school, that means longer hour at school and that is the start of a big problem. She tried everything already potty train him, bring books in the toilet with him etc...none of them works -- Anyway, she already have an appointment to specialist to look at what is the matter with her son. For me this is not normal case, most of the parents problem is bedweting and this is my first time i heard this kind of problem.

I know my Daughter is going to be different with the experience i have with my son but i just hope it is not going to be a problem like what my friends facing right now, because it is going to be stress with our kids when they start school, they get teased when other kids learn that one of them still wearing diaper and it is not good with our kids. I am sure that some parents have other experience during the potty training process it might be funny, scary or what ... please do share them.

There are times with bloggers life that we run out of idea of what to write, advice by some to not to write -- if you can't find an inspiration just don't or else it going to end up crap! not sure if it is true of not. Honestly, this week i couldn't find anything to post here at Clickdtalk and so i will post again another funny email i got.

I can say this funny emails saves me a lot of time because it brighten up readers day and give a smile which is contagious so it's a good thing...it create a good energy.

A mature (over 40) lady gets pulled over for speeding...

Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?

Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding.

Older Woman: Oh, I see.

Officer: Can I see your license please?

Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don't have one.

Officer: Don't have one?

Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.

Officer: I see...Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.

Older Woman: I can't do that.

Officer: Why not?

Older Woman: I stole this car.

Officer: Stole it?

Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.

Officer: You what?

Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see

The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.

Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please!

The woman steps out of her vehicle.

Older woman: Is there a problem sir?

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.

Older Woman: Murdered the owner?

Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.

The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?

Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers.
The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.

The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.

Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.
