Micromax has launched yet another dual-SIM Android smartphone in the country. Dubbed as A25 Smarty, it has been priced at Rs. 3,999 and is now available on Saholic.com.

Featuring a 1GHz processor, the smartphone comes with 2.8-inch display, 256MB RAM, Android 2.3.6 and 1.3MP fixed focus camera. There is no 3G connectivity on the smartphone and both the SIM cards on the phone will only support EDGE.

A25 also comes with 1250 mAh battery, 120MB user memory, and support for microSD cards.

Micromax has also pre-loaded several social-networking applications on the device along with its Hookup Instant messaging app.

This is the third smartphone launch from the company in the last seven days; other two are A57 Ninja 3 and A87 Ninja 4.

Education is the foundation of our nation’s future, which is why it is essential that you obtain one before you begin to live your life.

Study Skills and Your Learning Styles

With all the freedom that you have in choosing a home, location, job and social environment why wouldn’t you sacrifice a few years of your life to have a job that can give you the resources and comfort that you need for years to come? We all have a different perception of things, which is why we all obtain information differently. We may be 1 of 3 learners: Visual, Audio or Active. Recognizing which way works for you is important to succeed in school because it’s the only way that you are going to obtain information, take notes correctly and improve your memory.

Learning material is either going to be short-term or long term? It’s common that it’s short term, unless we continue to practice the information everyday through repetition. After you have obtained the right study skills then you will begin to see an improvement in your grades and the level of concentration/focus that you have towards your school work and your future. If you can make your education interesting, and something that you can appreciate or enjoy than the process is much easier.

I can’t stress the importance of studying enough because in a sense it stands for how hard you’re going to work when it comes to other challenges in your life. The more that you put forth the more you are going to gain from it. When you let laziness and stress get to you, it may take you backwards instead of forwards. How can you persist and continue to progress with your study skills and your school work?

The best way to stay balanced and headstrong is by looking at the reward that you are going to receive from all of your hard work. It’s going to seem tedious and frustrating at times, but the early bird gets the worm! The more willing you are to achieve bigger and better things means that you are more willing to put the work and effort forward.

It’s going to take creativity and sacrificing some personal time that you would otherwise spend doing something relaxing. Prioritize your time and your responsibilities so that you can achieve something that is going to take you that much closer to your reward. The biggest motivation that you have is within yourself, and that’s something that no one else can take away from you.

After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said, “I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you.”

The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally. That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie. “What’s wrong, are you well?” she asked.

My mother is the type of woman who suspects that a late night call or a surprise invitation is a sign of bad news. “I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you,” I responded. “Just the two of us.” She thought about it for a moment, and then said, “I would like that very much.”

That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous. When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, too, seemed to be nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last wedding anniversary. She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel’s. “I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed, “she said, as she got into the car. “They can’t wait to hear about our meeting.”

We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady. After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half way through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips. “It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small,” she said. “Then it’s time that you relax and let me return the favor,” I responded. During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation – nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other’s life. We talked so much that we missed the movie. As we arrived at her house later, she said, “I’ll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.” I agreed.

“How was your dinner date?” asked my wife when I got home. “Very nice. Much more so than I could have imagined,” I answered.

A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened so suddenly that I didn’t have a chance to do anything for her. Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place mother and I had dined. An attached note said: “I paid this bill in advance. I wasn’t sure that I could be there; but nevertheless, I paid for two plates – one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, son.”

At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: “I LOVE YOU” and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off till “some other time.”

"The History behind Valentines Day" can really be traced back about 1500 years ago when while awaiting his execution, St. Valentine restored the sight of his jailer's blind daughter. On the eve of his death, St. Valentine wrote a farewell note to the jailer's daughter, signing it, "From your Valentine..." This then is thought to be the start of the current day tradition of sending Valentines Day cards. Then in 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14th to honour St. Valentine so then this special date became the excepted date for exchanging Love messages and St. Valentine became the "Patron Saint of Lovers".
St. Valentines Day is usually celebrated by sending poems and simple gifts such as flowers or candy to friends and romantic interests. It has always been a day dedicated to lovers and lover wanna be's. There are many records as to the history of Valentines Day and here are some of the most notable:

The Story of Lupercalia
One tradition observes that Valentine's Day has its origins in the Roman festival of Lupercalia, observed on February 15th. Lupercalia celebrated the coming of Spring in the Roman calendar. February was observed later in the year than it is today. Lupercalia was associated with the Roman gods Lupercus and Faunus. Lupercus watched over shepherds and their flocks and the festival of Lupercalia became a celebration intended to ensure the fertility of flocks, fields and people.

The celebration of Lupercalia transformed and spread as the Roman Empire grew. When the Romans conquered France, it was then that the first Valentine-like cards may have been exchanged. Apparently, a container in which women had placed their names (possibly accompanied by love notes) was used in a lottery. Men drawing a women's name would either seek or were guaranteed that woman's favors.

One of these Valentines is believed to have been a Roman priest and physician. He was killed in the third century, during the persecutions of the Emperor Claudius II. After his death this Valentine was buried in the Roman road Via Flaminia. Pope Julius I is said to have later built a basilica above his grave. A second Saint Valentine candidate, believed to be a bishop of Teni, a province in central Italy, was executed in Rome.

These men's status comes from legends of harboring Christians from persecution, curing the blindness of a cell keeper's daughter, and conducting marriages while they were forbidden during times of war. It is this, along with the traditions of Lupercalia, that came together to honor St. Valentine as the patron saint of lovers.

The Legend of "Eros", "Cupid" and "Amor"
From its association with Lupercalia, and that day's connection to fertility, comes St. Valentines association with love and romance. This led Valentine's enthusiasts to appoint the Roman god Cupid as a patron of Valentine's day. Cupid is also known as Amor or Eros in Greek mythology. Eros seems to have been responsible for impregnating a number of goddesses and mortals. The ancient Greeks believed Eros was the "Love force", a force they believe was behind all of creation.

There are many sweet things to do and ways to celebrate Valentines Day. This day for Lovers is usually celebrated by sending poems and simple gifts such as flowers or candy to friends and romantic interests. In the United States, Esther Howland is given credit for sending the first valentine card. Commercial valentines cards were introduced in the 1800's and now this date is highly commercialised but as in any holiday, it's the individuals intention that gives it the greatest meaning and purpose. The spirit of goodness continues as valentines are sent out with sentimental and romantic poems or verses and children exchange valentine cards at school.
Hundreds of years ago in England, children dressed up as adults on Valentine's Day and went singing from home to home. The popular verse they sang was:

Good morning to you, valentine,
Curl your locks as I do mine
Two before and three behind.
Good morning to you, valentine...

In Wales wooden love spoons were carved and given as gifts on February 14th. Hearts, keys and keyholes were favorite decorations on the spoons. The decoration meant, "You unlock my heart..!"
In the Middle Ages, young men and women drew names from a bowl to see who their valentines would be. They would wear these names on their sleeves for one week. To wear your heart on your sleeve now means that it is easy for other people to know how you are feeling.

In some countries, a young woman may receive a gift of clothing from a young man. If she keeps the gift, it means she will marry him. Some people believe that if a woman saw a robin flying overhead on Valentine's Day, it meant she would marry a sailor. If she saw a sparrow, she would marry a poor man and be very happy. If she saw a goldfinch, she would marry a millionaire.

A love seat is a wide chair. It was first made to seat one woman with her wide dress. As it evolved, the love seat or courting seat had two sections, often in an S-shape. In this way, a couple could sit together, but not too closely..!

Some other Sweet things folks do to celebrate Valentines Day
Think of five or six names of boys or girls you might marry. As you twist the stem of an apple, recite the names until the stem comes off. You will marry the person whose name you were saying when the stem fell off.

Pick a dandelion that has gone to seed. Take a deep breath and blow the seeds into the wind. Count the seeds that remain on the stem. That is the number of children you will have.

If you cut an apple in half and count how many seeds are inside, you will also know how many children you will have.

Angelic Realm One: "The Love Angels"
These Angels are purported to exist on the very highest level of Being and at the very closest approximation to the most holy sacred throne of the King and Queen of the Universe. As the holy scripture states over and over in many of it's passages, "God is Love", and as such manifests all the goodness in all of existance, in all of Creation, both in Heaven and upon the Earth.
When we express genuine affection to a friend, lover, parent or child, we give that person a gift of joy that can last a lifetime. We may become for him or her a spark of light, a glimmer of hope. "The Love Angels" give genuine care, affection and the deepest Love unconditionally. They are unrestricted by what others may think or say about there propensities to give love openly and freely without provocation. Such Angels appear with the kind of radiant smiles which geneate waves of warmth in the receiver from head to toe. They freely embrace with wings often wrapped around and encircling the recipient. They also lend guiding words of encouragement when the hour is darkest...

The earthly reflection of the divine characteristics of "The Love Angels Realm" include:

Angelic Realm Two: "The Guardian Angels"
"Guardian Angels" are perhaps the most well known of all Angels dwelling within the "Angelic Realms". They are Spiritual Beings who are continually in the Presence of the Divine and take their greatest Joy in singing praises to Our Creator.
"The Guardian Angels" serve as Divine Messengers, bringing God’s Will and Word to all humanity with their particular attention turned toward those who directly call upon them. Although for most of our lives we as humans seem unable to see "Our Guardian Angels", they remain ever present and always ready to protect and watch over us.

The role of "Guardian Angels" is both to Guide the petitioner to good thoughts, words and deeds, as well as to Protect and Preserve us from evil. "The Guardian Angels" aid their petitioners in the fulfillment of Prayer and also serve in the capacity of representing individual souls to God at the time of Translation or death. "Our Guardian Angels" are intent on obtaining from God all the graces and favors conducive to our Eternal welfare and their greatest mission and desire is to see us home in Heaven.

Angelic Realm Three: "The Forgiveness Angels"
Whenever we are hurt or gravely disapointed along the path of life, we may call upon "The Forgiveness Angels" who are the foremost example of supreme Compassion in this world and the next. This Angelic Realm is whole-heartedly focused upon during those times in our lives when we can think of no earthly reason to forgive or be forgiven. The "Forgiveness Angels" dwell and have their being in a state expanded perception and higher understanding which is rooted in a realm beyond normal human possibility and comprehension.
"The Forgiveness Angels" may impart knowledge, insight and forgiveness in a dream or vision which may spontaneously heals all mental, emotional and even physical wounds through the auspices of their sacred interventions. This divine intervention is often known simply as "Grace". The result is freedom from resentments and regrets as well as an enhanced ability to make the world a more loving place for souls to dwell within...

When we place "Trust in ourselves or another", we in turn invest our belief in the strength to fulfill a nobel goal or everyday challenge and trust in the possibility that it will be accomplished. Faithfulness is blossomed thru "Trust" and when we begin to trust the higher power inside of which "The Faithfulness Angels Realm" reside, we empower our own sense of Purpose and Being. When we trust a person at their word, we in a real sense elevate them in their perception of being trust-worthy. Of course trust is developed through sincere thoughts, words and actions and when we choose to trust someone who has betrayed us in the past, with that act of faith, we sow the seeds of healing and growth,and allow the possibility for what was wronged to be righted once again...

We may call upon "The Warrior Angelic Realm" to help us in Affirming what we know is right and to courageously take a stand based on Divine Principals from a "Loving Heart". "Warrior Angels" are the Enforcers of Goodness and Righteousness and continually help Us fight the good fight from which they in all of earthly and Heavenly history, have never been defeated...

VALENTINES DAY PRAYER

Preparation:
To begin your St. Valentine's Day Prayer, sit in a quiet place where you will be undistracted and undisturbed for a 5-10 minute period. If you already have a prayer or meditation altar, place some colorful flowers preferrably in full bloom on you're altar. If you do not have such a place set-up then you can use a simple table or chair to place you're flowers upon along with whatever objects or items you find to be inspiring or uplifting in nature. Perhaps a card or picture of an Angel or best of all a photo of some one or a group of persons you Love...
Focus on this special Prayer time to reflect on the words in the Prayer posted below as well as you're concentration on increasing the Love, Care and Compassion in your life. This focus on Goodness magnified is the goal in making Valentine's Day or any day a more beautiful Loving Day...
