Free Athletic Physicals Tonight

All incoming 7th, 9th and 11th grade athletes will need a physical for the 2014-15 school year. For a free physical, athletes may go to the Clifton Clinic tonight, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, between 4:00-6:30 pm. Make sure you have all paperwork filled out when you get there. You can obtain all needed paperwork on the CISD Athletic website.

Athletes will be unable to practice until they have a current physical on file with the school. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Caniford at:

On behalf of the staff of Clifton Middle School, I would like to thank each of you that subscribed to our email updates and blogs this year. Thank you also for allowing us to work with your children each day. It is truly a blessing to be in Clifton with the great kids we have. With your support and the hard work of the students, we have completed a successful school year at Clifton Middle School.

We look forward to August and seeing all of our returning students, plus a new group coming over from the Intermediate School. Thank you again. AB

Today, the Texas Education Agency released preliminary statewide passing rates for the 2014 STAAR tests. Below is a comparison of Clifton Middle School and the state results.

REMINDER-Middle School Dance Tonight

The Clifton Middle School Student Council will be hosting a dance tonight, Friday, May 23rd. Details are as follows:

When: May 23, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Where: Middle School gym

Cost: $3 per person

Special Instructions: 6^th grade students need to bring salty snacks, 7^th grade students need to bring drinks and 8^th grade students need to bring sweet snacks.

**All outfits must meet dress code requirements.

**Any student not in dress code will be asked to leave or change clothes.

**Students must be enrolled in CliftonMiddle School to attend the dance.

**For safety and supervision purposes, students will not be allowed to mingle outside the school building.

**Parents are encouraged to attend.
