What a shit show we have in Canada right now. Are you kidding me with this last election? Does the east not realize what they have done?

I'm sorry but the east has just ignited a huge bonfire out here in the west.

I could show you videos of people who are upset, and videos of people who think Albertans are just raging against the election. What the eastern liberals don't understand is that we are not going to take this abuse anymore.

I want my grandkids to have a better life than me and the only way to achieve that is by separation. I love the concept of Canada, but Canada is no more. The end started with PET, and has now ended with Carney.

I don't want to leave Canada, but Canada has nothing to offer to Albertans. To all you liberal/ndp voters, instead of demeaning us and calling us names, give me a list of why I should vote to stay in Canada. Please give me a reason to stay.

Even if Pierre had won, it would have only been a temporary reprieve, because Canada is liberal and will always be liberal and will always go against my values and my morals.

I'm a proud Albertan and will do everything I can to convince other Albertans to vote to separate. .

I'm super excited for the future of my grandkids. I'm excited to help build a new nation that gives my kids freedom. I'm excited to see Alberta rise as a world power house.

Think of it...A new nation, a new free place for people to escape the bounds of tyranny. A new nation built on freedom and justice.

What an awesome time we are living in. What an awesome country Alberta will make!

Out of the Dark to Protest Trudeau!

His father was a jerk, and the son is a jerk! I'm all for the trucker protests. I've been out in convoys and just standing at the legislature waving my flag for the convoys. It's not enough anymore.

Banks are shutting accounts down, without warrants or any justification needed.

I'm going to my bank tomorrow to take out all my money from the TD, in cash. Don't settle for a DRAFT, it's fake money and allows banks to transfer funds without having to access the money in their vaults. Banks traditionally keep about 5% of their customers deposits on hand, they invest the rest while they give us .05% interest on our "savings" accounts. So if everyone came into their banks and demanded cash...the banking system would crash.

If you are not aware of what is happening, it's not just about the jabs anymore, it's about a China like credit system. Digital currency that can be turned off and on at the whim of some government bureaucrat who thinks you might be a threat.

Don't believe me? I don't care. I have a plan, do you?

Firefox, Begging for Donations

I quit using Firefox when they fired their CEO for donating $1,000 to Prop 8, a non-profit fighting against gay marriage in California. Astonishingly, Prop 8 won, in California no less, but it was quickly ruled unconstitutional by federal activist judges.

California voters approved Proposition 8 in 2008 with 52% of the vote shortly after the state Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriages are legal. The measure put gay and lesbian marriages on hold in the state, but a federal appeals court later rule Proposition 8 was

I would have donated $1000 to you, just like CEO Brendan Eich did to a non-profit organization like yours, Prop 8. Excuse me for thinking that your cause (your continued employment in a non-essential job (IE and Chrome are better) ) is not as important as Eich’s cause was.

The way the PC crowd swarmed down on their victim (Eich), tore his eyes out for seeing PC hypocrisy, gutted him for having an opinion different from all leftists robots, and left him to resign, reminds me of ISIS and their uncompromising evil crucifixions of Christians (Which it is not PC to talk about as we are allowing thousands of undocumented illegals into our country).

Didn't you condemn Eich to die without actual blood being shed? Because of a $1,000 donation? So, no, I will not even be donating $3 to you….ever. Maybe you should have thought about your activism and how it would affect your non-profit, before you alienated over 60% of your users and got political!!!

Lefties, they just can't see anything that is not right up in their face biting them!.

Rona An Inspirational Choice!

When Rona was made the environment minister in 2006 and the lefties went MAD because she was seen getting her hair done instead of being at a meeting...I knew Rona was my kind of woman.

I still like her and applaud the Conservative party for giving her a chance to show her smarts as the interim leader. The media is already slamming her as not being able to speak Quebec French, what a hoot! She speaks English, French and fluent Portuguese and Spanish.

Put her up against the ":shiny pony": and he looks anemic. She will make him look like Charlie Brown during question period. The best thing is that the progressives can';t attack her, because if they do, they will show their true anti-feminist colours.

Liberals have thrown all they could at her and she is still standing. They fail to understand that Conservative women are tougher and more independent than any other political group.

I remember going to a rally for Harper in Edmonton before he was elected Prime Minister. I lined up with my then 12 year old son, hoping my son would be able to shake the next PM';s hand. I turned around and saw a lady with a walker trying to get into the line, so I pulled my son back to let her in.

While we were waiting, I started talking to her. OMG. If I can be as strong as her, I will have lived a great life. She and her husband immigrated from Britain in the early 1900';s. While her husband was working up north, she proceeded to buy them a house in Edmonton. She was the power. She is a perfect example of a true Conservative woman. Tough, Smart and Can Do.

This was in 2006, and I still remember my encounter with her, and I still strive to celebrate the pioneer spirit she represents. Our children need to sit down and listen to the pioneers who are left, so they can understand that a rock star PM will not make their lives better by promising them ":goodies":. They need to understand that they will be the ones paying for all those ":goodies":.

Rona will do a great job. She is tough, smart and independent, not to mention a beautiful woman. (I guess that isn;'t PC, but as I am a woman they can';t attack me. I will just claim I am GLTABC) .

Look into Trudeau';s eyes and you will see nothing. Seriously, watch his eyes, nothing is going on behind them. We have a puppet PM, who';s strings will be pulled by the BIG BUSINESS progressives supposedly despise and Liberal activists who have been starving for the last 10 years. First up the climate conference where Alberta will get screwed by the federal Liberals and the provincial NDP. Count on it.

Squirrels and Religion...

There were four churches and a synagogue in a small Ohio town: a Presbyterian church, a Baptist church, a Methodist church, a Catholic church and a Jewish synagogue.

Each church and the synagogue had a problem with squirrels.

The Presbyterian church called a meeting to decide what to do about their squirrels. After much prayer and consideration they determined the squirrels were predestined to be there and they shouldn't interfere with God's divine will.

At the Baptist church the squirrels had taken an interest in the baptistery. The deacons met and decided to put a water slide on the baptistery and let the squirrels drown themselves. The squirrels liked the slide and knew instinctively how to swim so twice as many squirrels showed up the following week.

The Methodist church decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God's creatures. So, they humanely trapped their squirrels and set them free near the Baptist Church. Two weeks later the squirrels were back when the Baptists took down the water slide.

But the Catholic Church came up with a very creative strategy. They baptized all the squirrels and consecrated them as members of the church. Now they only see them at Christmas and Easter.

Not much was heard from the Jewish synagogue, but it's rumoured that they took one squirrel and circumcised him and they haven't seen a squirrel on their property since.

THE DIFFERENCE IF YOU MARRY A CANADIAN GIRL

The first man married a woman from North Carolina . He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from South Carolina . He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from CANADA. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he pees.

Seniors Leaving Canada

News Flash from the offshore Nova Scotia ----

The Canadian Navy intercepted three boatloads of people off the east coast of Canada today.

This placed the Navy in an awkward position, as the boats were not heading to, but away from Canada towards the Middle East .

Another surprise finding was that they were loaded with Canadians who were all seniors of pension age. Their claim was that they were trying to get to the Middle East so as to be able to return to Canada as illegal immigrants and therefore be entitled to far more benefits than they were receiving as legitimate Canadian pensioners.

The Navy, it is believed, gave them food, water and fuel and assisted them on their journey.

We are booking the next boat out. Let me know if you want to come.

Rachel from Notleyham has delivered a NDP baby, called :"Deficit Spending": to the uninformed Alberta citizens. The same citizens who overthrew the bad Progressive conservatives for overspending, now have Rapunzel lowering her hair for all the provincial unions. This fairy tale will not end well.

The labour pains are sharp and directed at the guts of taxpayers. We voted Klein in so we could get rid of our debt. I remember it well, I was on the cusp of the 20% cuts, but I made it, and so did all the people who were cut.

This is going to hurt every single Albertan, taxpayer or not. How?? Carbon tax. A tax on the air we breathe. Imagine the shock our ancestors would get if they came back today and found out that carbon dioxide is bad. The stupidity of people who want to believe in climate change is surpassed by only the Islamic hordes who behead those who will not bow to their religion.

The first NDP budget in Alberta is a killer. Job killer, pension killer, and investment in the oil industry killer.

RIP Alberta.

Someone Has To Pay For All The ":Goodies:"

For decades Alberta was able to fend off the federal power grabs because they had a conservative government provincially. Even with a conservative provincial government in place, Trudeau The First, was able to decimate Alberta with the NEP.

Alberta is now prime pickings for both the NDP and Liberals. We have no protection from the lefty progressives.

You can try to blame whoever you want for the provincial and federal elections, but it comes down to who promised the most ":goodies:".

When the takers out number the workers, these are the results you can expect. When a spend until you drop budget approach wins against a balanced budget approach, you can expect these results for decades to come.

All you need to do is look at Ontario. The voters keep electing the Liberals because they are handing out the :"goodies:" faster than the recipients can spend them and they feel good about their inclusive progressive society. Debt??? Who cares? The politicians never seem to mention the BILLION dollars a month for interest payments in Ontario alone. Imagine how a BILLION dollars could help a hospital in Ontario, or 12 hospitals a year.

I fear for Alberta.

Provincial Sales Tax or Carbon Tax, or both.

NotMe will promote a carbon tax to make us appear environmentally friendly because she can';t get away with imposing a sales tax. It is the same thing, just a different name. Add that to the national carbon tax we can all expect, and it';s a double header in taxation.

The media will make it seem like we are finally paying our dues for all the pollution we have been causing.....how many smog days has Edmonton had?......NONE you say?? Funny that.

Even the most extreme hurricane the western hemisphere has ever seen....so we were told....did minimal damage in Mexico this week.

Don';t blame Harper for the conservatives not getting reelected, blame the takers not the workers. You can see the same thing happening in the US. The takers out number the workers.

If that trend persists, eventually society fails. Someone has to pay for all the :"goodies":.

Some will see no wrong in what was done at this clinic, and I pray for those people. This is about murder, not abortion.

Kermit Gosnell is on trial for the murder of babies, born alive, and then murdered by severing the spine. It's as despicable a crime as any mass shooting, but don't except huge coverage of the trial, because it shows abortion for what it is, murder.

Trembling, the castaway replied, "Ten years!"

Hearing that, the blonde reached over to her right sleeve, unzipped a pocket there and removed a flask and handed it to him.

He opened the flask and took a long drink.

"'Tis nectar of the gods!" shouted the Irishman. "'Tis truly fantastic!!!"

At this point, the gorgeous blonde started to slowly unzip the long front of her wet suit, right down the middle. She looked at the trembling man and asked, "And how long has it been since you've played around?"

With tears in his eyes, the Irishman fell to his knees and sobbed,

with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.

She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called

to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral."

She holds up the tiny pink elephant.

"I mean, what in the world is this?"

The bank manager looks back at her and says.

There were two Catholic boys, Timothy Murphy and Antonio Secola, whose lives parallel each other in amazing ways. In the same year Timothy was born in Ireland , Antonio was born in Italy .

Faithfully they attended parochial School from kindergarten through their senior year in high school. They took their vows to enter the priesthood early in college, and upon graduation, became priests.

Shouldn't law makers be in support of that choice?

Conceal Carry? Why Not?

I've thought about it, and if I could conceal carry a gun in Canada, I would. I have no guns in the house, but if it was an option, for me, as a female, I'd take it. I do have a canister of dog spray in my purse, but in a dangerous situation, it would take too long to; find it in my purse, get it out, point it in the right direction, and make sure the wind was in the right direction to make sure it didn't spray in my face. So, basically, it is useless.

My kid takes taekwondo and he has shown me some really useful moves to get out of a headlock, but even if I did, I would still be reduced to "shouting fire" and running for my life, so what good is that, unless I can subdue my attacker? I figure a gun would be a great equalizer for me against a much larger attacker. I'm hoping I would just have to show it to the guy and he would be the one running, but if necessary, I could take the shot.

So, gun control is nuts. All the laws already on the books are not upheld, so more laws won't work.

Finally we got rid for the stupid, 2 billion dollar gun registry. It was a bad law imposed on us by the Liberal government of the day to appease the gun control fanatics. The US is trying the same thing now. Maybe the should look to Canada, the UK and Australia to see how gun control has failed.

What it all comes down to in the end, is my right to protect myself in the way I feel most comfortable. If I think a bow and arrow (which I am really good at) is better than a bat or a gun, I should be able to defend myself with that bow and arrow without fear that the government is going to prosecute me because I had the audacity to actually defend myself before the police could arrive.

Canada is not gun "crazy" like the US, but that doesn't mean that individuals should not be able to defend themselves from attacks on the street or in their own homes or businesses.

This guy was lucky he didn't get charged. The RCMP/Police are idiots, they want no one but themselves to have guns. Tell that to the women who are getting raped at increasing rates around the world. Give us women guns, we will take care of ourselves, it's better than being tied up and raped repeatedly like these women.

Walton said at least five gunmen entered the rooms where the tourists were sleeping, beat and tied up six men and raped six Spanish women. A seventh woman, a Mexican national, was unharmed, he said. The nationalities of the male tourists were not disclosed.

Walton added that the women were raped despite what he described as “excellent security” beefed up in Acapulco for the holiday weekend. Federal police and the army patrol parts of the city. No arrests have been reported in the case.

I'm sick of the lefty whiners. They need to get out of the basement, get a job and join the real people in the real world. No more government grants for phoney research, no more living off of the productive like parasites.

If the greenies are so concerned about the environment, let them become farmers. HA! Thought not! It's a failure by them to create! (Well except for those bird choppers they love!)

National Post Gets Hammered! Credibility Zero

The National Post bought Associated Press wire feeds and got hammered by them big time. Guess they don't bother fact checking AP's articles before they post them.

This is what I saw this morning on the National Post:

Pro-gun activists HECKLE father of six year old Sandy Hook massacre!! Can it get anymore despicable than that? How can your heart not bleed for those babies and their families? My GOD, what cruel people would heckle that father?

Except....MSNBC faked the video, and the National Post bought it hook, line and stinker. Did they remove this fake article?

NO.

They just changed the headline and removed any comments that told them it was a fake.

I watched as comment after comment telling them that this article was fake were removed by NP moderators (as of 10pm Mountain time, they are still doing it and the article is still up), yet they let the highly inflammatory comments of others about "gun nuts" remain, unchallenged. The National Post needs to apologize to their readers for posting such garbage from the Associated Press. Changing the headline and story without erasing the highly prejudicial comments leaves them looking like idiots. Are they a national newspaper or a gossip column for Obama and his gun haters? They need to take responsibility for posting a column that had no basis in fact and was easily pointed out to be a fake.

Maybe the National Post should try more responsible media outlets like this one from now on.

The debate in the US about how to keep kids safe is getting to be such a farce that it's hard to watch.
Even England is warning them against gun control.

That list is depressing, but no-one is willing to talk about the real issue. Mentally ill people not being adequately monitored by health professionals, and being left out in our streets to fend for themselves.

Remember the guy on the bus who beheaded and ate an innocent young man by using a knife? He's out on day passes, after only 4 years, while his victim got life. Can we blame health care professionals if this guy goes ballistic again? Probably not because of our soft lefty judges, but they should be held accountable.

We have abandoned the depressed, drug addicted, mentally ill, and left them to fend for themselves because the lefties think it is inhuman to put them into nice safe health centers where their medication's can be monitored, and they can have a chance to have a normal life. Just drive by the Vancouver in-site area to see how well the lefty feel good drug centers are working, but make sure your doors are locked. It's not a pretty sight. It is a festering sore, that lefties think is helping drug addicts. Unbelievable.

When in doubt, blame guns. It's easy, and politically all the lefty special interest groups love it. If it only saves one life!!! Where have we heard that before? Oh, right it's all the lefties crying about how abortions kill babies! Oops, that's them yapping about gun control.

As a female, this well dressed Walmart shopper from Alaska is more in line with my thinking, especially since gang rapes are on the rise.

Why do lefties cry about guns being bad? What are they scared of? If only the young girl in India would have had a gun, she might have been alive today, instead of suffering a horrific death at the hands of six deviant, sick men. Even if she had still been killed, at least, she would have been able to try to defend herself. Instead she had to endure over an hour of being gang raped and having a metal rod shoved through her body. Try to imagine that she was your daughter. Why do lefties want women and children to be defenseless? Why do they care more about criminals and their rights, than their own families? I just can't understand it.

Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.

Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:
TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR   PETS:

(1) They live here. You don't.
(2)    If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'-niture.
(3)   I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
(4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:(1) eat less,
(2) don't ask for money all the time,
(3) are easier to train,
(4) come when called and are pleased to see you,
(5) never ask to drive the car,
(6) don't smoke or drink,
(7) don't want to wear your clothes,
(8)   don't have to buy the latest fashions,
(9) don't need a gazillion dollars for college and, best of all.....
(10) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

Ticket Please!!!

Three women and three men are traveling by train to the football game.
At the station, the three men each buy a ticket and watch as the three
women buy just one ticket.
How are the three of you going to travel on only one ticket? asks one of
the men.
Watch and learn, answers one of the women.

They all board the train.
The three men take their respective seats but all three women cram
into a toilet together and close the door.
Shortly after the train has departed, the conductor comes around collecting
tickets.
He knocks on the toilet door and says, Ticket, please.
The door opens just a crack, and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand.
The conductor takes it and moves on.

The men see this happen and agree it was quite a clever idea; so, after the
game,
they decide to do the same thing on the return trip and save some money.
When they get to the station they buy a single ticket for the return trip
but see,
to their astonishment, that the three women don't buy any ticket at all!!
How are you going to travel without a ticket? asks one perplexed man.

A public school substitute teacher was arrested today at Reagan Airport as he attempted to board a flight to visit his daughter in Florida while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement.

Stopped by the Hell Creek Bar in Jordan (Montana) last week, and I’ll be damned if ol’ Gumbo Nunley wasn’t barred up. Sent a drink down to him and walked over to see what he was up to.

“Gumbo,” I says,”thought you moved to Arizona for good.”

He says,”Me, too, but a judge down there told me he’d suspend my sentence if I left the state, so I hauled ass before he changed his mind!”

“What the hell was that about?” I asked him.

He says,”Well, I stopped in Kingman to get a case of beer and I had just put the beer on the roof of my truck and my hat blew off. So I trotted across the parking lot to get it and as I was walking back, this illegal alien ran up to my pickup, grabbed the beer, and hauled ass. So I grabbed the rifle outa the rack and tipped his ass over. And as I’m walking over to get my beer back the sheriff, who had seen the whole fracas come up and put me under arrest.”

I says to him,"I thought it was legal to shoot illegal aliens here in Arizona!"

"Well yeah, under the right circumstances, it sure is," says the sheriff,"BUT YOU CAN’T USE BAIT."

My neighbor was working in his yard when he was startled by a late model car that came crashing through his hedge and ended up in his front lawn.
     He rushed to help an elderly lady driver out of the car and sat her down on a lawn chair.
     He said with excitement, "you appear quite elderly to be driving."
     "Well, yes, I am," she replied proudly. "I'll be 97 next month, and I am now old enough that I don't even need a driver's license anymore.
     "The last time I went to my doctor, he examined me and asked if I had a driver's license. I told him yes and handed it to him. He took scissors out of the drawer, cut the license into pieces, and threw them in the wastebasket, saying, 'You won't need this anymore,' so I thanked him and left!"

To all my friends and family, At this time of the year, when the roadblocks come up with great
regularity, I would like to share a personal experience about drinking
and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have
had brushes with the authorities on our way home from an
occasional social session over the years. A couple of nights ago, I was out for an evening with friends and had
a couple of cocktails and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well
I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never
done before - I took a cab home. Sure enough, I passed a police road
block but, since it was a cab, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise, as I
have never driven a cab before and am not sure where I got it or what
to do with it now that it's in my garage.

So, get off your butt and enjoy the wonderful weather we are getting, finally. It's been brutal here since October, Halloween was a nightmare (I know bad pun, but true).

As of today, I have two teenagers that can drive my car.....is that a nightmare or what??

Oh well, getting ready for our New Years Eve party....I do love cooking and knowing that people enjoy the food. All I need now, is a really good punch (alcohol included/excluded) recipe.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, and may we keep the Christ in Christmas. Presents are nice, but they are meaningless without that feeling of cheer and in your heart gladness. For the last few weeks, all of a sudden, the word JOY comes into my mind, and a warm feeling embraces me, that is Christmas.

Our Hearts Hurt

Those poor babies. Such a senseless act of violence, by an obviously deranged individual. My prayers go out to all those who lost their loved ones. May God wrap his arms around those little ones and give the families some measure of peace. Let them feel his love and rest easy.

Maybe what we need to do is allow God back into our lives. It can be as simple as obeying the ten commandments. Even the atheists among us can agree with some of them, like... "Thou shalt not kill".

Of course the lefties are getting all wound up about "gun control" when they should be looking at the laws that let mentally disturbed individuals roam our streets. Most of those individuals could be functioning adults if they were given a home that monitored their medications, instead they are deposited on our streets, left to fend for themselves. The progressives think putting people in institutions for the mentally disabled takes away their freedom, (too be homeless I guess), without admitting that the consequence of their inaction is what we saw on Friday, mass murder of the real innocents.

If one teacher had a gun, the massacre could have ended with fewer victims. Don't believe me? How about this article.

PORTLAND, Ore ... Nick Meli is emotionally drained. The 22-year-old was at Clackamas Town Center with a friend and her baby when a masked man opened fire.
"I heard three shots and turned and looked at Casey and said, 'are you serious?'"
The friend and baby hit the floor. Meli, who has a concealed carry permit, positioned himself behind a pillar.
"He was working on his rifle," said Meli. "He kept pulling the charging handle and hitting the side."
The break in gunfire allowed Meli to pull out his own gun, but he never took his eyes off the shooter.
"As I was going down to pull I saw someone in the back of the charlotte move and I knew if I fired and missed I could hit them."
Meli took cover inside a nearby store. He never pulled the trigger. He stands by that decision.
"I'm not beating myself up cause I didn't shoot him," said Meli. "I know after he saw me I think the last shot he fired was the one he used on himself."
The gunman was dead, but not before taking two innocent lives with him and taking the innocence of everyone else.
"I don't ever want to see anyone that way ever," said Meli. "It just bothers me."

Of course no one can prove he stopped more killings, but if the gunman saw him pointing a gun at him, then it distracted him, and changed what he was going to do, and that is good enough for me.

Why do the criminals have all the advantages? As a female, I am told not to resist if I get attacked, I can't even carry "pepper spray" to help me fend off an attacker. Why do the progressives want females to be victims, unable to defend themselves? Why don't the feminists encourage concealed carry gun laws for women? Yet they loudly cry about "our bodies, our choice" when it comes to killing their own babies. SAD.

If you think that the Americans are "gun crazy" and they should have tougher gun control laws, why does Chicago, a "no gun zone", have the highest murder rate in the country? No gun law can prevent a homicidal manic from getting a gun and killing innocent victims. Maybe progressives should rethink their approach to mental health issues instead.

By the way, the school that my son attends has an armed (GASP) police officer on duty, maybe that should be what Americans do to prevent more mass murders of innocents. Well except that Obama cancelled school security funds so that he could fund failed green enterprises like Solyndra. And they thought Bush was bad?

The media/progressives have an agenda and it's all about gun control, not mental illness. They should be held responsible for all the misinformation they gave out in covering the Newtown massacre, it was disgusting and harmful.

May the people of Newtown heal, and may their hearts hurt less as time goes by.

An excellent speech meant to wake up America, unfortunately they voted for Santa Claus instead.

The games being played by Obama are going to hurt the American economy, and as a consequence, the Canadian economy as well, so buckle up and if possible, go west.

It really irks me when people whine about all the immigrants taking Canadian jobs, yet our own Canadians from other provinces refuse to relocate to where the jobs are, in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Come on out here, it's only minus 25 tonight, you can handle that! Or maybe not, you central Canada sissies! (meaning Toronto, not the rest of the province) We do love our eastern brothers and sisters from Newfoundland though! They work here and send their cheques home to improve the living standards of their families, no flies on them!

As for the Nexen deal? Small potatoes in the oil sands. You have to know that China is going to want a pipeline to get the oil to them, so it will be interesting to see if the lefties continue their attacks on the oil sands now, or if they bow to the major world polluter, China and Mo Strong.

Expect to see more takeovers of Canadian companies, especially by US companies. Their economy stinks and with Obama elected for another 4 years, they will be shifting their operations to a more investment friendly environment, namely, Canada. Win-Win for us!
