Tip: A great way to find videos cheap before they get popular is scan news on the Web. If you find something just as it hits the Web, it can cost very low in Goldies amount, and as it spreads it will rise in price!

However, sometimes the name of these viral video turns back a lot of search results, and it can be time consuming to sort through the search results trying to find the exact video you are looking for. There is a little trick in the ClipClash search that will make your life easier when searching for these videos.

For example, my friend sent me this video from YouTube:

But when I search the video on ClipClash, I get tons of results. Which is the one I want?

In order to find the exact clip you are viewing on YouTube on ClipClash, you simply need to take the unique string after “watch?v=” in the URL and search it in ClipClash.

Keep in mind that the unique string may be followed by “&feature…” depending on how you got to the video clip.

So just take that unique string, pop it into the ClipClash search, and voila!

Only that unique clip comes up! You can do this search with any clip that is embeddable on YouTube. So now you have no excuse not to add that amazing video clip to your channel and watch your profit rise!

ClipClash today announced the release of its enhanced video social game, expanding the variety of available video content and adding more gaming and social features. Now ClipClash players can program their personal channel with all types of popular video content, earn badges for completing various tasks and goals, climb through multiple game levels as they become more skilled in the game, and recommend and gift video clips to friends for inclusion in their personal ClipClash video channels.

While ClipClash players have enjoyed programming their personal music video channel, they will now be able to build broader program offerings by adding video clips from wide range of content categories such as comedy videos, animation, film, television, sports, news and user generated content.

In addition, ClipClash players are now rewarded with badges for many game actions, such as adding and selling clips on their channel, viewing of their channel by other ClipClash players and viewers, and increases in the virtual value of their clips. And as players become more expert in their game play, their status badges will rise in importance, climbing from “Rookie” all the way to “Supreme”, with accompanying rewards of having more Goldies (the ClipClash virtual currency) added to their accounts, as well as bragging rights.

Moreover, ClipClash has introduced multiple skill levels that players achieve by earning experience points (XP) for each single activity such as buying a clip, recommending clips, and making a profit on a previously purchase clip, to name a few. The higher the video clip is valued within a player’s channel, the more experience points the players earns. And as players climb through the skill levels, more gaming elements are unlocked.

Finally, ClipClash has expanded its social features to include the gifting and recommending video clips to friends.   With these new features, if a player comes across amazing videos that he wants to share with friends, he can easily recommend them through his buddy list.  Players can even purchase video clips with their own Goldies and “gift” them to their friends for their own ClipClash channel.

As you explorer new videos and play on ClipClash, you will earn XP, helping your rise in skill levels. Earn XP points by buying and selling clips, adding buddies, inviting friends, winning game rounds, and much much more!

Levels

Watch your levels increase as you gain more and more XP! As you climb in Levels you will unlock cool features such as having more clips in your channel, price trend arrows, and much more!

Badges

As you become more expert in various activities on ClipClash, you will earn badges.  Badges not only give you bragging rights among your friends, but you will also earn XP and more Goldies!

Gifting

In January we updated the ClipClash game so you could recommend clips to any of your friends in your buddy list.  We have expanded this feature so you can now gift clips to your friends! Buy the gifts with your own Goldies and send it to your friends to add to their channel!

Sharing

Did you find amazing videos on ClipClash and what to share with your friends who are not yet playing?  Now you can! Share your video channel or a specific clip directly on Facebook and Twitter! You can find the share buttons under the price trend chart.

Tip: The more people who view your video clip on ClipClash, the more the video clip will rise in value!  Share your clips and watch your profit increase!

As you may have noticed, we have recently updated the ClipClash platform to bring you new and improved features, including improved music video search, introducing new music clips and video recommendations!

Clip Search

The improved clip search includes now having the search bar at the top of the page.  The great thing about this search is that it takes direct results from the net, bringing you faster and more relevant music clips.

Introduce New Clips

This also enables you to introduce new clips to the system. If the video clip is not yet in the ClipClash economy you will be prompted to “Introduce This Clip”.  The great thing about introducing a clip into the system is that you will have no service fee!  Plus you can get those hot music clips before anybody else!

Recommend Clips

Lastly, ClipClashers now have the ability to recommend music clips to their friends. When you are viewing a music clip and want to recommend it to a friend, simply go to your buddy list, select the friends you want to send it to, and then click “Recommend”.  Your friends will get an alert with a link to the music video clip!

Music Video Clip Prices

One of the biggest changes with this update is the change in music video clip prices. Due to the ever increasing amount of views some videos get, we decided to lower the prices of music video clip. Due to this change the economy is a little different than before, so pay attention to your clip prices so you can buy when they are low and sell when they are high!

Reset Goldies

Because we have changed the music video clip prices, Goldies needed to be reset for each user.  Some users simply would have had such a great advantage with the amount of Goldies in their wallet.  All users’ Goldies have been reset to 25,000 gl. Your music video clips have not been touched, so all the clips you have bought recently will still be in your music video playlist.

We are happy to announce that you can now share your music video channel!  You will notice both a Twitter and Facebook button where you can tell your friends about your amazing music video channel and help spread ClipClash!

About No Degrees of Separation

“Music and lyrics connect the world, therefore we are No Degrees of Separation”

No Degrees of Separation (or NDOS for short) combines the knowledge of three talented artists: Tom Hanssens, Dominique Ventura and Dennis Rust. With studios in Germany, Belgium and Holland, No Degrees of Separation is a truly international band with no borders.  Not only to they create their own music  and music videos, they also are able to help others with creative videos.

You can currently view three music videos on their featured channel. The first song, “Nose to Nose”, is a fabulous Acapella with Dominique’s stunning voice leading to a snappy tune. “Black Tears” is a much more somber song with an alluring black and white music video.  The last song, “Get Away” starts off as a beautiful piano piece but soon turns into a empowering song.

These three amazing songs are a must-listen.  You can expect more from No Degrees of Separation in January 2011 when they will release their first album!

1. Make your own iPad (Spanner Spencer has a great article on how to make your own iPad!) Not functional, but a sure attention-getter!
2. Sign up for a spammy site where you can try offers to earn an iPad.  You have to get friends to sign up and complete offers too, 23 to be exact. Do you think you family & friends love you enough to get spammed so you can “maybe” get an iPad? A great way to find out who really loves ya’, baby!
3. December is around the corner. Start leaving hints for your loved ones to buy you an iPad for the holidays.
   - For men this means to hint to your girl how much you would like an ipad.  One hint should be enough.
   - For women this means to tape this to your man’s computer screen/video game console/beer case

   
   If you do get it, you will owe big time, so don’t plan a lot of time on your iPad.

4. Convince your parents, grandparents or any other family member (think of older family members) that is not “tech savvy” that an iPad is better than any PC and that they should buy one.  When they can’t figure out how to use it, you can kindly take it off of their hands by trading it for your 4 year old laptop. And if they actually do figure out how to use it and love it, remind them that YOU were the one who recommended it and how much you would love one for your next birthday/anniversary/Valentine’s Day/or whatever else is coming up soon. Find out how deep the love runs through your family!
