The Incomparable WHITNEY:
It's only been 48 hours, but for some reason, no one can let go of the sorrowful grips of the tragic news heard around the world. I caught myself steering at a co-worker in disbelief as we discussed this weekend's highs & low's of the music world, "It's as as though we lost an aunt, huh? this is how I felt when cousin Mike passed" I said....

This was a personality that BIRTHED an entire generation of pop culture, music, style, sounds and other female stars---- do you remember old Brandy Interviews when she would go on and on about her love for Whitney and THEN they did Cinderella together on a TGIF Friday on channel 7. OMG! I died!

It shows that LOVE is truly the GREATEST LOVE OF ALL, when everyone looks passed the "self inflicted issues" and just admire the greatness, the talent, the voice and the music, becasue we truly were rooting and genuinely loved her.

You will truly be missed, may you R.I.P. and THANK YOU.

A lot of us Fashion and Beauty girls knew of "another Whitney", the young model/choir girl. That statuesque frame, golden skin and MR. MAX FACTOR's DREAM OF A FACE on a Hollywood set, later followed her to the music world to complete the package. Here she is during her teen years as a young Seventeen Magazine model.

* My Kindergarten Graduation song was; "Greatest Love of All" Circa 1989-89

* I got in to an argument with another girl in like 95' because I thought Whitney was saying "Shantal" and not "Chaka Khan" in "I'm every woman"---woah, right!

Friday night was rather exciting, I went out for drinks with new Stylish blogger friends: Tammy of A Fendi Bag & A Bad Attitude, Soraya, 1/3 of Femmes with Benefits and Rell of Theory Republic. Everyone was super cool and so fun to be around. We hooked up at the soulful Tillman's in Chelsea and giggled the evening away.

Trouble maker

The song is called “trouble maker” by a new group called Trouble maker which included 4minute’s Hyuna and Beast’s Hyunseung. Before I critique the video and the song, please take a look!

To begin, I want to say that I am not trying to call anyone in this song something that they are not. This is my opinion from what I see. I am not against sexy videos if they are done tastefully.

I don’t have any problems with Hyuna’s wardrobe---that is least in my complaint--I just don’t think this video really shows how great Hyuna dances, or how talented her voice is. I think her dancing sucks! What’s up with all of those sex faces? Could it be because she wants no one to notice her lack of skills in this video because she clearly has none! I blame this all on the marketing strategy that they have for Hyuna. In all of her videos such as “bubble pop” and “change” she's doing nothing but bending over and shaking her butt. To me it seems that all this sexiness is silly then sexy. I guess in this world, sex sells and her company does not care how she looks. As long as they get paid then it is not a problem.

I don’t really have much to say about Hyunseung! He has a good role in the video. He sits in a big chair while two girls dance by him.

Overall I LOVE this song a lot. It is very catchy with the whistles and finger snaps. If I had to rate the English use in the song out of 1-5, I would give it a 3. I mean there is only one English word in the song but they kind of miss pronounce it. It sound more like chubble maka then trouble maker [LoL]

Hey everyone!

My name is Alexus and I will be blogging about Kpop and teen fashion. If you do not know what Kpop is then I will explain it for you. Kpop stands for Korean pop music which is somethig like American pop music but in Korean! I don't really listen the American music all that much so I would love to introduse you to a new world of music and (of course) style.

I will also be writing about the teen fashion world! I am an aspiring model who loves to watch fashion shows and read magazines such as teen vogue. I will tell you all about what is in for the season, what's hot and what's not!
