Christmas and the New Year

Hello to all club-306 members. Christmas is coming up fast and its been a brilliant year including three shows that club-306 have attended the castle combe action day, the French car show and eurofest. Also there have been several trips to santa pods run what you brung and a social day out at cheddar gorge. Thanks to all the club members that attended and organised the events.

Coming up is the club-306 Christmas dinner in Dudley (around Birmingham) at the bostin fittle on the 6th of December at 6:30pm so get your names down in the Christmas meet: the final details thread.

As for what were doing next year the club will be attending fcs 09 and eurofest and castle combe action day, as well as the club-306 founder John Blackmores stag do which will be happening in may were we are going to Germany the Nurburgring and all male (apologies to the female members as a stag do you cant come) club-306 members are invited to come it will be a once in a lifetime trip and we would like as many people to come with us and enjoy the trip go to the John Blackmore official stag event board and put your name down.
There will hopefully be more events next year so keep an eye on the events and meets section of the forum.

eurofest is over, what a day

Eurofest at castle combe was an awesome day out. I think I can say from all who attended it was worth going. A big thank you to all the members that turned out and made this meet what it was.

One of our newest members who came along Matt Jarvis won car of the show I think he was as shocked as us to realise that he had won lol

As for the next big club meets check out the meats and events thread in the forum. There are plans for a Christmas dinner and evening out as well as a few track days.

Once again thank you all for attending eurofest and I hope to see more new members at future events

FREE Tickets for Eurofest Action Day at Castle Combe

On Saturday 6th Spetember 2008 Club-306 will be at the Castle Combe race circuit for Eurofest.

We would like you all to join us so we are offering FREE tickets to anyone who brings their Peugeot car with them! To get your free tickets all you need to do is get your name down on the list at http://www.club-306.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12289

This is the first time Club-306 will be visiting Eurofest and this is what the Castle Combe website has to say about the event:

Eurofest Action Day.
Saturday 6th September 2008

Eurofest will highlight the best of European performance car manufacturers. The display area will be divided in to relevant sections i.e., German, French, Italian and British manufacturers to make it more user friendly for owners clubs and for visitors alike. This event looks likely to be a major success in the Action Day Calendar.

Going on the past 5 years the first weekend in September is usually a scorcher so make sure you pack your sun block and floppy hat! Hopefully the weather will be much better than the last time we were at Castle Combe.

Club-306 are also looking to book a number of track sessions at a discounted rate. This is yet to be confirmed but to get your name on the pre-order list today visit http://www.club-306.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12290 . At the moment we are hoping to get 6 discounted sessions at a cost of £17.50 each (limit 1 per person) but if we get enough interest we might be able to book a few more sessions at a rate that is cheaper than on the day.

No Club-306 stand at Trax Show 2008

Due to overwhelming lack of interest the Club-306 stand at Trax 2008 has been cancelled. Apologies to those who have booked tickets, your orders have been fully refunded.

Anyone wishing to go to Trax is advised to book tickets in advance at www.traxshows.co.uk at a cost of £15 per adult or you can pay on the gate for £20.

All of the Club-306 efforts will now be put in to the Castle Combe Eurofest Action Day on Saturday 6th Septemeber, which is completely FREE to come along to, providing you bring a Peugeot car to the club stand.

Due to the nature of the event only European cars will be allowed on the club stands and only Peugeot cars will be able to show on the Club-306 stand.

Additional passengers are charged on the gate, I think the cost is usually around £10.

More information on the Eurofest Action Day including the possibility of track time will be available later this week.

Join Club-306 at Silverstone for Trax Show 2008

For the second year running Club-306 will be attending probably the biggest show of the year, Trax Show 2008 at Silvertone circuit.

Trax will be held on Sunday 7th September 2008 and if you want to join in the fun you need to book your tickets now!

The only way you can get club stand passes this year is to order your tickets direct from Club-306 and the deadline for orders is Tuesday 29th July so you don't have long!

Booking tickets from Club-306 costs the same as ordering from the Trax show website, just £15 per person in advance.

Order your tickets using Google Checkout and your tickets will be dispatched to you as soon as we receive them. More details and information will be available soon in the Club-306 forum.
