Happy new years to all club 306 members

I hope you have had a good holiday time with lots of presents bought and lots received.

The news board has been quiet for a long time as it came to the end of the year.

To sum up all of last year for club 306 you have to start with saying thank you to all you members for being patient with us as the forum had a few issues when we moved the forum to a new server back around the start of the year. We were hoping the change would mean its a bit easyer for me and the other admins to use if it was all under one roof so to speak but we have been let down and now were on a new server and all is good.

We then had castle combe as our first event of the year and as always we had a top stand with some of the best 306 enthusiasts I could hope to meet. Our numbers are falling for people coming to these events but if you can come I guarantee a good day out (if it rains guarantee may not apply).

I know there has been a rolling road im the east mids area organised by ash (spillage) and ash (ash23) which looked to be a huge success with cars ranging from d turbo's to a t16-6 and a 307.
thank you to ash and ash for organising this. As we don't organise many large meets a year.

We have had fcs 2011 and with numbers down from last year we still didnt dissapoint you had a great stand and every single car looked awesome. Thanks to all that attended and to all that came and saw us there and chatted to us.

5 years previous we attended trax which is a massive show and it was sunny and such a good show...so we decided to go last year which had me worried as it was tipping it down and I was worried none would turn up!!!! I shouldn't have worried as I wasn't let down even with the wet weather there were some brilliant cars there and some fantastic people.

Thanks to big dave and andy x's for organising a xmas dinner which by the looks of it was a good evening out with lots of fruity man drinks with unbrellas and kristovey putting a knob in his mouth.

We also had the birth of john blackmore's (no 1 member and founder) first son thomas who by the time he is 18 the 306 will be a big pile of scrap metal BUT he will get the forum as his 18^th birthday present.

Looking forward to 2012 there are people who are organising the french car show 2012 already as there is a special this year all about the 306 at donnington park which includes a perade lap. So please sign up as its going to be good.

Castle combe will be sorted asap so keep a eye out on the forum for info and updates.

hi all from club-306 hq

im wanting to update you on the details for trax 2011. so this year its being held at silverstone racecourse as usuall where there will be a massive array of cars ranging from skoobs to focuses to the 306 and im hoping to see you all there. the show is sunday the 4th of september i will be staying in the buckingham hotel which is linked in the car shows thread but you can drive up on the day.

i need a minimum of 10 cars on the stand to get a place and at the mo there are 3 people payed up if we can't get 10 members the stand will be cancelled and it will be a massive shame as its the last show of the year that we will be showing at. so please don't delay and pay for your ticket in the club shop

im hoping this will be good but the only people who make the show worth while is you the members so as i say please get your name down and confirm your place at one of the biggest shows in the uk.

if it comes to the 15th of july and i havent got 10 cars to show everyone who has payed will recieve a full refund.

Hello all you club-306 members
Ii hope your all well and your cars are all in one piece and working.

so french car show has been and gone and i for one had a brilliant time. It has been my 5th fcs and its probably been the best.

Shank you all for attending and for thoese who couldn't be on our stand but still made the effort to come and say hello.

All though we didn't have a show and shine/car of the show on the day. In hindsight i should have (but atleast you didn't get a poorly made trophy from me) but im announcing a winner now it was a car that stood out from the rest with very tastefull mods

This is jenna's awesome sedan and i will be adding a years membership to your account later as a very small prize.

The next big show is going to be TRAX there isn't much i should have to say as this is a well known show. the club attended 5 years ago with a hand full on members and this year as a change from castl combes second leg i thought it may be a good thing to go to. I want as many people to come as possible.

All the details are in this thread i will be trying shortly to get the tickets available through out club shop but i will tell you all as soon as i have sorted it.

the french car show is so close now and i hope you have all ordered your tickets and stand passes its going to be a good weekend as you have the opertunity to camp on the saturday and sunday night with the new and old members of the club. all you need to do is get your name down in the camping thread.

French Car Show

So the French Car Show is very very close and the club needs you to be there to show support and get your car on the stand.

after castle combe's disappointing turn out with having only half the members coming that asked to i really need you to book your ticket and turn up.

There are two big events happening from the 4th to the 5th of June so the big one is camping on the Saturday the 4th which is always a giggle whether weather is sunny or raining or just freezing cold. we have a bbq and lots of laughs at each other. you need to put your name down for this one as its a must for all the veterans of club-306 and all those who want to become veterans of the club. the thread to put your name down in is this one.

i promise this will be good.

the other is the show its self with more camping following. The French car show has been the clubs main show for the past 5 years and this one im hoping won't disappoint. all you need to do to be on the stand is no.1 put your name down here this one. and secondly you have to buy a ticket from the fcs shop which is this one. make sure you order your stand pass with club-306 otherwise i don't know were you will end up.

TRACK – We have sold about 50% of the 180 minute open pit with free pit garage use
Its only £99 for open pit which is 100% more track for your money than 2010.
