Depois subimos ao convento para ver as vistas e arrancámos em direcçao a Fátima com paragem para ver o Aqueduto de Pegões. Do aqueduto ate Fátima estrada de montanha para disfrutar da conduçao. Em Fátima uma ida ao kartodromo para andar de Lotus ou se não for possivel, alugar karts. Quando surge essa necessidade e sempre que o volante tiver que ser rodado mais de 180º (meia-volta), há que garantir que o controlo do equilíbrio do carro se mantém. Para tal, as técnicas a utilizar são as seguintes:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);font-size:100%;" &gt;Balanceamento simétrico:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);font-size:100%;" &gt;Esta técnica é a mais utilizada e consiste em manter firme a mão que está mais acima (será a esquerda numa curva para a direita e a direita numa curva para a esquerda) e aliviar a pressão da mão que fica por baixo ao atingir a  meia-volta e, sem largar o volante, mantê-la nessa posição pronta para agarrar firmemente o volante assim que se começa a desfazer a volta, mantendo os braços simétricos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cnjlJZQe-m8/Tu4Wtr-Cz6I/AAAAAAAAA-s/czIC0XHdWBs/s1600/Foto%2B9.JPG"&gt;&lt;img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 225px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cnjlJZQe-m8/Tu4Wtr-Cz6I/AAAAAAAAA-s/czIC0XHdWBs/s400/Foto%2B9.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5687508353568395170" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);font-size:100%;" &gt;Balanceamento misto:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);font-size:100%;" &gt;Consiste em rodar o volante deslocando a mão esquerda entre as 7 e as 11 horas e a mão direita entre a 1 e as 5 horas, aliviando a pressão de uma ao firmar a outra enquanto se roda o volante. Numa curva à esquerda, a mão direita sobe rodando o volante das 3 até à 1 hora e a mão esquerda prossegue com a viragem descendo desde as 11 até às 7 horas. À volta do circuito ainda podemos apreciar 2 belos Lotus Cortina, algumas réplicas Seven o belo Elan DHC do Gil Dias e dois dos habituais Elise que se juntam a nós. Uma vez que a maioria dos carros desportivos, tais como os &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Lotus&lt;/span&gt;, não possuem ar condicionado, deverá ter-se isso em consideração com a selecção da roupa a utilizar. Sapatos com sola fina de couro ou com sola fina de borracha anti-derrapante são o ideal. Os ténis normalmente têm uma sola de borracha demasiado grossa para permitir muita sensibilidade nos pedais pelo que, não são recomendáveis. Mesmo não sendo, o bom senso recomenda a sua utilização. O capacete deve ser homologado e do tamanho correcto para a cabeça do utilizador. Os Pilotos usam capacetes feitos à sua medida. &lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"&gt;A 18 de Agosto, dentro do prazo e como planeado a Lotus ligou pela primeira vez o novo motor V8 que será o coração da gama começando com o Esprit no final de 2013. Quase 40 anos após o lançamento do seu primeiro motor, a série 900, o novo motor, projectado por Wolf Zimmermann, tem até agora, "superado todas as expectativas" em termos de potência, redline e outros factores.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"&gt;A equipe trabalhou duro para manter o estipulado neste projecto tão importante e complexo. Na verdade,  20 minutos foi o tempo de sobra já que o motor foi ligado às 23:40 no dia 18! A Lotus espera ter o motor montado e a funcionar num modelo de testes Esprit até o final deste ano. Este motor também será usado no Elite e Eterne e poderá ser usado na forma V6 no Elan.
