This is our own version of Moving Closer by Never the Stranger. It was fun doing this film. We didn't expect to finish shooting all the scenes in one day considering that we only have limited time. Given that situation we somehow pulled it together and made this film a success! May you enjoy this music video that we made.

Surely not most of the people who loves outdoor adventures realize that there's HITCHHIKING here in the Pearl of the Orient. What drives us to do such adventure? Its something that you need to watch for you to discover why hitchhiking is very efficient here.
We traveled across Cebu City - San Carlos City - Dumaguete City, and all towns in between. One thing was set in our minds, it was to have fun during the whole trip. We didn't mind if we don't have enough money for worst-case scenarios. The whole trip was so much for us to handle that we ended up failing our mission. But that's not the point, in these kind of adventure, HAVING FUN is a must.

Did I also mention that it is for free? Not only that, being a blogger you can choose to participate in this kind of event. In our case, the South Out event of NUFFNANG (Philippines), Asia-Pacific's first and leading blog advertising community.

What we got from Nuffnang Philippines South Out party was more than what we expected. Though I did not have the chance to win the raffle, I met a lot of fellow bloggers from Cebu and Manila, not to mention some of the well-known bloggers of the Philippines, and bloggers like us, Vloggers. For starter like us, my friend and I got more than the prize of the raffle. We were offered to observe a shoot with our very own Ms. Eden of the ChicInTheTropics.com, and Rabsin of the PhilippineStreetFashion.com. To experience how film making is with the PROs is a pleasure for us. Experience can never be exchanged with any goods.

Its nice to know that besides all those prizes given, this event also offered us opportunity for our talents to be more developed.

MOVIE REVIEW:

Jeepney is a story of a girl named May. She has a simple lifestyle. Usually, she wakes up early to catch a ride to her school and to ride together with his dream boy named June. Most of the time she took off the jeepney before June does. Until one day, she left her folder on the jeepney she rode. Fortunately, June came and returned to her the folder. June comes from a well-known college in the city. As they walked towards May's school, she discovered that her dream boy is already taken </3. Since then, May do not wake up as early as before. Feeling a bit sad because of what she discovered about his dream boy, she was sober. Sober enough to unintentionally leave, again, her folder on the jeepney she rode. And then, someone came up to her asking if she owns that folder and introduced himself as July ♥.

This movie was taken around 3 years ago for my highschool's film festival held yearly. I teamed up with my bestfriend in coming up with this movie. Both of us wrote the script, directed, edited, took shots, and due to the lack of participants we ended up taking a minor role in this film. This film garnered the "Best Director", "Best Editor", "Best Actress", "Best in Musical Scoring", and "Best Supporting Actress". We never expected to win most of the awards of the festival but God really is good to us!

Looking back at this film makes me laugh. Look how funny this film is edited! Looks like it was made for fun at some point. Anyway, the point of the whole film fest was to let the students enjoy their school year by joining into this extracurricular activity. So I hope you enjoy this film of ours. :)

Mini Project: Test Shoot

Our first try of how filmmaking is, the Clueless way. Even though there's only a director, cameraman, and 3 artists, we were still able to shoot everything according to our plan. We managed to take everything in a single day. Hopefully, it will turn out the way we expect it to be.

As of now, we are partially done editing. We will soon start the dubbing part. We will launch the full video more likely at the end of the week.

Its very productive of us to have this project considering that we only have one camera to shoot with and we don't even have budget. The props used in this video are owned by the artist.

One of the scenes that we think is gonna be great. Yup, its just a digital camera and lets just say that the outcome of this will not be in an HD resolution since its just a test shoot.

Special mention to our friend, who took the role of one of our casts. His plan was just to observe but we lack an actor so we got him to do the acting. :)

Jeepney: Behind the Scenes

Our first "mini" project is to actualize this story. We chose some of our friends to act as the characters of this story since we only have limited time for the preparation.

Shooting for a film isn't really easy as you would expect it to be. Its somehow tiring at some point. We went to one of our cast's condo to change Maybelle's (May, in the film) wardrobe and at the same time take a little rest.

This photo was taken from the last scene of the story. This is the part when the "other guy" introduces himself. Showing the face and revealing the name of the character of this dude would be the things that the audience will look forward to.

When you wait, you will get better results than what you have expected. Calling for some "jeepney" going to her school. After this scene, something happened that led her to know something about her crush.

The Discovery.

Before the semester ended, I convinced myself to take filmmaking as a pastime activity during this summer other than my usual outdoor activities. Not long enough and its summertime once again and as usual as my summer is, i have nothing much to do but eat, surf (online), and sleep. All things changed when I messaged one of my friends on Facebook. I told her this idea of mine about filmmaking. I did not expect her to like anything about what I told her. Well, lucky me she was the kind of person who's into this kind of hobby. As soon as we have agreed on some terms we proposed to take a test video shoot. Until then, Clueless Film was formed.

The Search.

We, at Clueless Film, are on the process of making this group as one of the organizations in Cebu Doctors' University. For now, were taking one step at a time since we have just begun ironing things out for this group.

Now, we are looking for more crew members who are willing to invest their spare time in filmmaking as an Actor, Video Editor, Scriptwriter, Director, and Cameraman/woman. We will be open to anyone who is interested in this field. For the school organization, we will be entertaining CDU students who are more interested in this field. This only serves as our pastime activity, thus going to school is priority #1.

The following people we need must be:

- a student in CDU (for the school org.)
- any interested individual (CDU/Non-CDU student)

- have a little background of

their desired field

- willing to spend their spare time

with the crew (if there is a project

or a meet)
