Today I ask you are you “TRUE CHOICE?”

It may seem radical to think of it this way, but is it our only duty as Christians to save babies?  Maybe . . . but I would argue they’ve already been saved by our forgiving Lord.

Instead we must do everything we can, pulling out all the stops to provide the Gospel of Truth to everyone and allow them to make the choice; Life or Death, Blessings or a lifetime of pain and regret.

Our Lord Jesus Christ died a horrible death to completely take our sins away, completely. We have to make the choice to ask and accept his love and forgiveness, just like the women going into the abortion facility have to accept help.

Are you doing everything you can every day to be TRUE CHOICE?

We all deal with struggles, disappointments, and distractions during our everyday work, but we must stay focused on God’s commandments. Pray first, volunteer, and then share the message with everyone you know. Yes even your pro-choice friends or relatives.

Little did we know that when we first announced Monday’s “Benefit 2012” that we would witness as 400 pro-lifers would participate. There were so many people in attendance that we were up against the fire code in the building.

None of this would have been possible without your support & prayers and the Holy Spirit’s intercession.

If you didn’t make it to the banquet, I wanted to make sure you could share in the experience and have a chance to be part of the excitement and hear our BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.

Here it is.

From September 26th until November 4th we will be launching the first ever 24 HOUR, CONTINUOUS 40 Days For Life Campaign here in St. Louis totaling 960 hours of prayer on the sidewalk.

This announcement comes with a new set of challenges and opportunities.

If you missed it here are the bullet items of our plan to END Abortion here in St. Louis:

• Bring in new staff to help assist in continuing the outreach growth.
• Improved materials to convey a message of LOVE to our community
• Outreach events to allow for an easy entry point into this Life Saving work
• Uplifting other pro-life church groups
• More speaking opportunities in our community to spread the pro-life message

We would have never set such a lofty goal if we didn’t believe it was God’s plan for St. Louis. Leaders from all over the country are marveling at what is happening in St. Louis and today I’m asking you to commit to $1 per day to help make it happen.

The Coalition for Life is in a unique position to save thousands of children from abortion right here in St. Louis — affecting our community for generations to come. But we can’t do what needs to be done unless friends like you sacrifice with us.

Wednesday Prayer Vigil / Sidewalk Training

This Wednesday April 18th from 8:00AM – 3:00PM we will again be offering one-on-one sidewalk training outside the local abortion facility for anyone who is willing to learn.

I will be there most of the day along with our friends over at ThriVe with their Mobile Medical Unit.

40 Days for Life Feb. 22 – April 1

I watched in amazement as God worked through His people during the last 40 Days for Life campaign completed on April 1st. Every hour was covered with prayer and love, all 480 hours.

After the Fall 2011 40 Days for Life campaign we had grown to 2,500 registered volunteers and now through the efforts of people just like you we have grown in just one campaign to well over 3,000 prayer volunteers and counselors.

All of the growth and excitement has resulted in Confirmed 17 Lives Saved, and those are just the ones we know about. This is extraordinary; we’ve never seen measurable results like this ever before, never.

And to God be all the glory!! I truly believe that if we step back, pray, and listen we will know what God’s plan is for us.

The End of Abortion will not come from one amazing group or one great plan, but with everyone working together for a common goal. Are you the “Hand” or “Foot” or “Eye”? How do you work into God’s plan?

Weekly Prayer Vigils: Tuesday & Wednesday

Yesterday’s 40 Days for Life Celebration Rally was attended by over 50 people and we had one testimony after another sharing stories and practical advice about how we can all END abortion in our great community. This was topped off with a message from Fr. Gerber that you have to see to believe.

But before we get to the video I want to make an Urgent Request.

Although the 40 Days for Life campaign has come to an end, abortions still continue to happen in St. Louis. Without belief you and so many like you stood for 480 hours for 40 straight days, 84 hours per week.

Today I ask for a simple 14 hours of prayer this week.

In direct collaboration with ThriVe St. Louis we will be holding weekly prayer vigils every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00AM – 3:00PM. We will provide all the materials you need, all you have to do is show up.

40 Days for Life Feb. 22 – April 1

I’m writing you today with my 1 year old daughter sitting on my lap after returning from church, recharged by the grace of Jesus Christ and I’m ready to act with boldness. Boldness to do everything it takes to serve the one and only Messiah, son of the living God in the best way I know possible and that is through prayer and action to bring about an END to abortion right here in our community.

Today is Palm Sunday when we celebrate the coming of the King, Jesus Christ. As we celebrate and welcome Jesus Christ into the city we too celebrate the last 40 days of prayer and sacrifice, and welcome the new challenges ahead of us.

This afternoon (5:30PM) at the 40 Days for Life Celebration Rally you will have a special opportunity to do just that. If you haven’t been out to prayer during this campaign it’s not too late. This is your chance.

As we gather today let us not forget those who have sacrificed so much, even their lives, to allow us to stand in the public square and proclaim the name of Jesus; and proclaim the truth of the pain and death associated with abortion.

Your voice is needed NOW more than ever. As our government and public institutions continue, ever increasingly, to tell us what we can and cannot do, we must stand strong to the moral teachings that this country was founded on.

Will you stand with me today? Will you be a voice for the unborn, the mothers, and the fathers who get pushed to the sideline?

40 Days for Life Feb. 22 – April 1

I’m on my way back from Jefferson City where over 2,000 people of so many differing faith backgrounds joined together at the Rally for Religious Freedom. These rallies are happening all over the country today and I was excited to be part of it, but its back to the work at hand. At trip to Jefferson City or Washington DC is great and exciting, however we understand that abortion doesn’t happen in the halls of Congress or the White House; abortion happens here at home.

She’s 3 Months Pregnant

I’m so amazed and excited to train and equip so many new sidewalk counselors and prayer volunteers during this 40 Days for Life campaign, 12 new counselors last week alone. But through all this excitement and watching the success of others I personally was able to spend a little time talking to a young lady named Lauren.

Lauren just moved to St. Louis and didn’t know of anywhere to receive prenatal care for her 3 month old pre-born child, so she found on the internet, Planned Parenthood. Lauren had no intention of aborting her child, but paid $50 for a taxi ride, $25 for a pregnancy test and $130 for an ultrasound that day. Lauren walked out of Planned Parenthood and I handed her a rose and she was excited to show me the ultrasound picture of her new little baby.

We told her about the free services offered by our partners at ThriVe and she was thrilled to hear of the amazing work that is going on here in St. Louis, but she was hungry. I personally was able to walk with her to the local sandwich shop and offer her one referral after another to so many great doctors and organizations she vowed never to return to Planned Parenthood.

This is just one story, but these happen all day long in front of the abortion facility to so many different people.
