RIDDLE

2012-09-14T12:00:00.001+02:00

I am taken from a mine, and shut up in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost everybody.

Pencil lead

What goes round the studio and in the studio but never touches the studio?

The sun

What is it that you can keep after giving it to someone else?

Your word

What walks all day on its head?

A nail in a hoe's shoe

What gets wet when drying?

A towel

What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?

The letter M

What is round as a dishpan, deep as a tub, and still the oceans couldn't fill it up?

A sieve

There were five men going to church and it started to rain. The four that ran got wet and the one that stood still stayed dry.

Body in coffin, and bearers

The more you take, the more you leave behind. What are they?

Footsteps

He who has it doesn't tell it. He who takes it doesn't know it. He who knows it doesn't want it. What is it?

Counterfeit money

Brothers and sisters have I none but that man's father is my father's son.

My son

Who spends the day at the window, goes to the table for meals and hides at night?

A fly

I bind it and it walks. I loose it and it stops.

A sandal

What goes round and round the wood but never goes into the wood?

The bark of a tree

I went to the city, I stopped there, I never went there, and I came back again.

A watch

I have a little house in which I live all alone. It has no doors or windows, and if I want to go out I must break through the wall.

A chicken in an egg

Scarcely was the father in this world when the son could be found sitting on the roof.

Fire, smoke

There are four brothers in this world that were all born together. The first runs and never wearies. The second eats and is never full. The third drinks and is always thirsty. The fourth sings a song that is never good.

Water, fire, earth, wind

A cloud was my mother, the wind is my father, my son is the cool stream, and my daughter is the fruit of the land. A rainbow is my bed, the earth my final resting place, and I'm the torment of man.

Rain

Poke your fingers in my eyes and I will open wide my jaws. Linen cloth, quills, or paper, my greedy lust devours them all.

Shears (or scissors)

What is that which goes with a carriage, comes with a carriage, is of no use to a carriage, and yet the carriage cannot go without it?

Noise

It stands on one leg with its heart in its head.

A cabbage

It's been around for millions of years, but it's no more than a month old. What is it?

The moon

A white dove flew down by the castle. Along came a king and picked it up handless, ate it up toothless, and carried it away wingless.

Snow melted by the sun

As I went across the bridge, I met a man with a load of wood which was neither straight nor crooked. What kind of wood was it?

Sawdust

What belongs to you but others use it more than you do?

Your name/alta ego

What goes up the chimney down, but can't go down the chimney up?

An umbrella

What is is that you will break even when you name it?

Silence

What fastens two people yet touches only one?

A wedding ring

What is it the more you take away the larger it becomes?

A hole

I am the beginning of sorrow, and the end of sickness. You cannot express happiness without me, yet I am in the midst of crosses. I am always in risk, yet never in danger. You may find me in the sun, but I am never out of darkness.

The letter S

What is put on a table, cut, but never eaten?

A pack of cards

Who are the two brothers who live on opposite sides of the road yet never see each other?

Eyes

What holds water yet is full of holes?

A sponge

Though it is not an ox, it has horns; though it is not an ass, it has a pack-saddle; and wherever it goes it leaves silver behind. What is it?

A snail

Lives without a body, hears without ears, speaks without a mouth, to which the air alone gives birth.

An echo

A hundred-year-old man and his head one night old.

Snow on a tree stump

What goes into the water red and comes out black?

A red-hot poker

What goes into the water black and comes out red?

A lobster

When one does not know what it is, then it is something; but when one knows what it is, then it is nothing.

A man from Virginia was Arrested For Sending Death Threats To President Obama

2012-05-10T12:17:00.000+02:00

A Virginia man is behind bars after threatening to send a bomb to the White House to kill President Obama. Christopher Hecker was arrested last Thursday (MAY 3) after publicizing his disdain for the president, whom he believes is trying to put an end to patriotism.
Sighting Ted Nugent's racist rant against the Commander in Chief as validation, Hecker contacted the Turner Corp. last month detailing his steps towards killing Obama.
"I sent a bomb threat to the White House today and to several radio stations," Hecker wrote in an email to the company. "Sooner or later I will grab someone, maybe in the woods, on the trail, and beat the life out of them.
"[Obama] is the one that is destroying patriotism in the U.S.A. Ted Nugent is right. So, Obama is allowing me to be tortured to the point that I may murder someone, rather than deal with the mess he made. Your president is a coward."
Obama was in Virginia over the weekend to kick-off his re-election campaign, but Hecker was already in custody by the time the president touched down. The Waynesboro, Va. resident was arrested by the Secret Service outside of a local library. Agents were able to determine that Hecker was using computers at the facility to send out threats after exchanging several emails with him. During his hearing held Friday (May 4), Hecker announced plans to plead no contest to all charges, and asked to be sentenced to death—immediately.
Needless to say, a judge ordered him to undergo psychological evaluation

West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar recently revealed that he has over 30 unreleased songs with the legendary Dr. Dre. Kendrick previously teamed up with Dr. Dre on the track “The Recipe”, and the two had so much chemistry during that session that they collaborated on a ton of other tracks.

Could this mean a joint collaborative album for the two? If so, what does this mean the elusive Detox album?

D12: Biography

2012-01-19T14:32:00.000+02:00

Mini Biography

D-12 is the rap group formed by Eminem and five friends in the late nineties. When the group still hadn't been offered any record deals after years of touring, they all decided to go their separate ways, with the first one to become famous promising to come back for the rest of the group. Everyone was surprised when Eminem was the first to be discovered.

Their first album to be recorded was "Devil's Night," named after the Detroit holiday which takes place the night before Halloween. The holiday began in the mid-1980s, and it became customary for everyone to wreak havoc on the city of Detroit on that night each year. In 2003, Devil's Night was the cause of 151 fires that were set in the city.

The group originally had wanted to be called "The Dirty Dozen," because they had hoped to do a western song, and all be outlaws in it. The name, however, was already being used by a jazz group, so they shortened it to D-12.

Aside from Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III), the other members of the group are Peter S. Bizarre (Rufus Johnson), Swift (Ondre Moore), Proof (Deshaun Holton), Kuniva (Von Carlisle), and Kon Artis (Denaun Porter).

Trivia

Rapper Eminem's rap group.
Signed to Eminem's record label, Shady Records.
Group members Eminem and Proof have known each other since they were kids and grew up together in Detroit, Michigan.
"D12" is short for "Dirty Dozen" because there are 6 guys in the group each person having a split personality.
As of 2004, they have recorded two albums, "Devil's Night" (2001) and "D12 World" (2004).
They have been signed to Shady Records since their first album, "Devil's Night", in 2001.
They refer to Detroit, Michigan (where the group was formed) as Amityville.
They were nominated for Best Rap Video of 2004 at the 2004 MTV Music Video Awards. They lost to Jay-Z for his controversial video, "99 Problems".
Their personalities: Eminem - Slim Shady, Bizarre - Peter S. Bizarre, Kon Artis - Mr. Porter, Proof - Derty Harry, Kuniva - Rondell Beene and Swift - Swifty McVay
Although their debut album was released in 2001, they were underground MCs long before that.
Started in Detroit, Michigan. Their plan was to get the 12 best local rappers and form a Dirty Dozen (D12). They stopped at six members because they were unable to find any other rappers whom they felt were as good as they were.
Tragically, group member Bugz was shot three times and died before D12 became famous. Proof's son was born the same day Bugz died.
They were originally offered the song "In Da Club", but gave it to 50 Cent instead.
Produced by Eminem.
They made guest appearances on Eminem's albums "The Marshall Mathers LP", "The Eminem Show" and "Encore".
So far, all of their albums have reached at least double-platinum status.
They have their own fashion line, simply called 'D12'.
Group member Bizarre released his debut solo album, "Hannicap Circus" on June 28, 2005.
They were planning to release the song "Fight Music" as the third single from "Devil's Night" but decided not to. It would have come out a few days after the 9/11 tragedy had happened, and they knew no one would be in the mood to hear a song about destruction.
"Devil's Night" debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts.

Where Are They Now

(July 2004) Currently on tour for their new album, "D12 World".
(August 2004) Finished with their "D12 World" tour. Now, they are heading to Hollywood to film two new movies (without Eminem). One is called "Devil's Night" (named after their debut album) and it's a horror flick. The other is called "Runyon Cash", there are no further details about this film. Both are slated for release next year.
(August 2005) On the 'Anger Management III' tour with Eminem, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Lil' Jon and other hip-hop artists.

(April 2006) Preparing to record their third album - tentatively titled 'The Ambition' - in summer of 2006, despite the recent death of group member Proof.

NEW YORK / NationalTurk – Beyonce Knowles baby given birth Saturday at a hospital in New York City. Blue Ivy Carter will be a Nwe Yorker.
Baby’s parents Beyonce and Jay-Z were both “doing fine”. The 30-year-old chocalate star Beyonce is married to hip-hop icon and producer Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter since April 4, 2008.
Jay-Z’s birthday is December 4 , whereas Beyoncé’s birthday is September 4

BLUE IVY CARTER – Where does the name Blue IVY come from?

Ivy is in reference to the couple’s love of the number four – roman numeral for 4 is IV. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were married on April 4, 2008.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have matching IV tattoos on their wedding fingers. The singer’s latest album is called 4 which was her fourth solo studio album. Jay-Z has a trilogy of albums under The Blueprint banner which could have inspired his daughter’s name Blue Ivy : He has released The Blueprint, The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse and The Blueprint 3
The 30-year-old beautiful singer’s daughter arrived via scheduled caesarean section at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City last night.
The couple’s close friend Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed the baby’s name on Twitter, writing: ‘Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.’
Jay-Z was telling friends he and Beyonce had named their daughter Ivy Blue Carter, E! Online reported.

Beyonce Jay Z : Big Ignorantness at the New York hospital Blue Ivy Carter born

Blue Ivy Carter is a beautiful girl but her birth occurred on some controversial conditions. Jay Z and Beyonce might have exaggerated the security measures before Blue Ivy Carter came to the world. The papparazzis are always annoying but some people complaint and that a father misses the initial moments his infant is born, is something you cannot repay wiyh all the money in the world.
The fithy rich couple, Beyonce and Jay Z rented out the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hill Hospital, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, for the birth — paying $1.3 million, the New York Daily News reported.
The newspaper reported a hospital staffer had revealed Beyonce had checked in Friday night under the name “Ingrid Jackson.”
Hospital management reportedly put tape over security cameras and forced staff to hand in their cell phones in an effort to stop unauthorized photographs or footage of mother and baby being leaked.
Security guards were also reported to have been sighted outside the building, located off Park Avenue.
A father complains Beyoncé’s security team ‘barred him from seeing premature twins in hospital’s intensive care-unit’.
‘They should have been more strategic about it, These are children with problems in intensive care and you’re just going to take over the hospital like you own it? All I want is an apology.
The father of premature twins born at the same hospital as Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s baby girl says her security kept him from seeing the newborns.
Another couple from Brooklyn claimed that as they tried to go home at 11 p.m. on Saturday night, a security guard prevented them from leaving. The unlucky new parents were told they weren’t allowed to leave the 6th floor,
“We were told we could walk no further,” Nash-Coulon pair said Monday. When they asked for an explanation the heinous guard “claimed, unconvincingly, ‘Well, they’re handling hazardous materials,’ even as a large group of people screened from view were passing through the main hallway he had declared off-limits.”

WTF? Cher & Team Nicki Minaj Battle On Twitter Over "Did It On 'Em" Lyrics - Details Inside

2011-11-28T11:16:00.000+02:00

An unlikely Twitter spat went down yesterday between one of America's musical icons, Cher, and fans/associates of Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj.

The war of words was sparked when one of Cher's followers messaged her asking if she had heard a song by Nicki that was dissing her.
“@cher did you know that b*tch @NICKIMINAJ dissed you in her song DIDITONEM,” asked the fan.
The lyrics in question are from Minaj's song "Did It On 'Em" in which she raps, “If you could turn back time--Cher/You used to be here but now you gone--Nair.”
The song wasn't a Cher diss and it's highly likely Cher has never listened to it, but she replied back to the fan by writing, “Ive seen lots of people come & go! No biggie!”
That was all Team Minaj needed to see before they launched an attack on the singer. Nicki's friend/hype man Scaff Beezy responded quickly.
"Yo @cher listen to the words b4 you say dumb sh*t on twitter," he wrote. "Do you know what a rap metaphore is??? TM is a cult you dont want it with!!"
One she realized she wasn't being dissed in the song Cher apologized. “U R right ! Someone said I was dissed..I’ve been dissed b4,but instead of finding out I just got defensive ! I should know better.”
The argument should have ended there, but it didn't as people continued to insult Cher who finally got fed up. “Gimme a fkn break! Said I was dumb!" she wrote before deleting her tweets.
Nicki got wind of what was going on and messaged Cher, writing "@Cher #stopit5."
