Cette boîte est une réédition de pilotes sortis chez ICM il y a quelques années (réf 48082 en 2006). La boîte d'origine avait été saluée pour la précision du moulage tout comme l'absence de pastilles de démoulage sur les pièces. La gravure des lignes de structure est un grand débat qui divise les maquettistes aviation depuis de longues années. Même si aujourd’hui, une tendance nette se dégage en faveur des gravures en creux, cela n’a pas toujours été le cas et cette solution n’est pas, aujourd’hui encore, la plus réaliste pour l’ensemble des aéronefs.
