Exbury Gardens and our holiday accomodation.／エクスベリーガーデンとB&B

Coco said I should write about my first holiday too so I will try.

ニューフォレストではドッグウェルカムのB&Bに宿泊しました。

When we arrived at the B&B I thought we had moved there because our toys, food, shampoo, beds...everything was in our bags.

COCOはどこに泊まってもベッドの下が好き。
一方シルキーは持参したお布団の上でオモチャと戯れ中

I didn’t have my own bedroom there but I could sleep with Coco, and mummy and daddy’s bed was just there so I could visit them as many time as I wanted during the night, although they seemed to want to sleep.

私たちの部屋専用のパティオガーデンがあって水道も完備。いつでもおトイレOK。

At the B&B we had our own small patio garden so I could go out whenever I wanted and the man guest next to our room was hairy but quite friendly, and every time I peeped through the gate he said “Hello!” to me.

B&Bの朝食　コーンフレーク、フルーツにホームメイドヨーグルト、
ホームメイドのアップルシナモンマフィン、トースト、ジュース、コーヒー。

こちらはベジタリアン用のフルイングリッシュブレックファースト
これにトースト、ジュース、コーヒー　黒い物体はマッシュルーム

そしてこれは普通のフルイングリッシュ。
向かって右はブラックプディングといって豚の血、脂身などから作られるソーセージです。

Coco and I had our ordinary breakie and din-dins in our room. I think it is something called “Room service”. Am I right?

そしてピザ。このサイズを見てください！
ピザ好きのダディでも完食は無理でした。

On the other hand mummy and daddy always had to go out to get food while Coco and I sat on the bed or the chair, which maybe we shouldn’t have. Mummy took some photos of their food. They ate a lot didn’t they? And I think they should eat more vegetables like I do.

We walked a lot during our holiday, and the last day of our holiday, we went to Exbury Garden before heading home. We got on the choo-choo train there and it was fun!! Lots of steam came out and the noise and everything!! It was quite different from my favourite Southwest train wasn’t it daddy?

最終日はエクスベリーガーデンに行きました。
中を蒸気機関車が走ってます。もちろんドッグウェルカム

After getting off the train we walked around in the garden which was huge and beautiful. Coco and I posed here and there for daddy, and once when we were posing under a pretty tree a lady passer-by said “It could be a calendar photo”. Did you hear that, mummy and daddy! I am a proper model now aren’t I?

この写真を撮っていたら、通りすがりの人が「カレンダーフォトになるわね」って。

I want to go back there again because it is near the sea where Coco and I had our first swimming lesson from daddy. But daddy, we should go back there in May shouldn’t we? The guard of the choo-choo train said it many times didn’t he?

We had enjoyed Exbury garden for about 4 hours and headed home. Thanks for daddy’s gadget we got home in 1 hour and 20 minutes and my first holiday ended.

全体をお見せできないのが残念。とても大きかったです。

Daddy, I like “holiday”. It is woofly fun thing isn’t it, if only I don’t feel sick in the car...

Anyway I will grow out of it won’t I? So can I go to somewhere far next time like Coco did? And make sure that I can have room service again. Woof!! I cannot wait!!

Another nice walk／今日もウォーキング

Yesterday morning, daddy came to our bedroom and said “We are going to another forest today. Get up, girls!!”

Daddy got lost the day before so he wanted to show us that he could read the map. I’m right aren’t I, daddy?

月曜日からニューフォレストにホリデーに来ている私たち。
昨日に引き続き今日も森の中をウォーキング。
その前にバーリーという小さな町をブラブラ。魔女が有名らしく魔女小物のお店が一杯。

At first we stopped at Burley and looked around for a while. It seemed that the town was famous for witches. I wonder why?

ニューフォレストは馬、ロバ、ポニー等々が自由にウロウロしています。
駐車場にはヤギさん２匹がいました。

When we came back to the car park two goats were wandering there, and one of them was standing behind daddy’s car. Does he want to come with us daddy?

道路わきでたたずむお馬ちゃん。可愛すぎると思いませんか？

We headed for Beaulieu. We saw a lot of horses everywhere on the way and they were very pretty!! Look at those two horses. They were just standing there and looking at us while daddy was taking this photo. I wish I could speak horse language, then I could have asked their names.

さて、ビューリーという町に到着し、そこから森を抜けて
バックラーズハードという町に行くことに。

After a while we got out the car at Beaulieu and daddy said that we would walk through the forest to Bucklers Hard

前日の森とは違いサインポストもあちこちにあって歩いている人も居たので
道に迷うことなくスイスイと進みました。

Daddy was quite happy because he was quite confident that he wouldn’t get lost this time. Do you know why? Because there weren’t many twists and turns in this forest, and there were more signs and people to follow in this forest than the one we had been to the day before. However it was a much longer walk than we expected.

ＣＯＣＯとシルキーは走りまくり、リスを追いかけ、モデルをして楽しみ、

Silky and I posed for daddy here and there, and ran around a lot. We even saw a squirrel didn’t we, Silky?

After a while we arrived at Bucklers Hard where old wooden naval ships were built many years ago and there was a place where they repair boats there too. We saw woofly many boats in the river didn’t we daddy? You can do a boat trip along the river and of course doggies are welcome, however we walked back because daddy said so.

バックラーズハードに到着。昔々、木製の戦艦が造られた場所だそうで、
現在はボートの製造、修理場がありました。
川にはボートが一杯。

We came back to where we started but then daddy said with a bit of a smiling face “We didn’t walk back here the same way we came, did we?” No, we didn’t daddy but we didn’t get lost so it was OK, I suppose.

このレンガのコテッジはボートを造る職人さんの家で、
教会やホテルも。

Mummy’s pedometer showed about 25000 steps after the walkies, which meant we had walked 10 miles or 16 KM..

I was knackered again and fell asleep all night. Silky found a nice comfortable chair in our room.

マミーの歩数計によると、昨日の２６キロに引き続き、
この日は２万５千歩、約１６キロ。
疲れ果てて爆睡した私たちでした。

I’ve been enjoying my birthday week a lot and this is Silky’s first holiday as a family so she is excited too and she hasn’t slept properly at night. Every time she is awake she goes to mummy or daddy and expresses her joy to them. Lovely isn’t she?

Anyway daddy? What are we going to do next? More forest walkies? That would be lovely but I could do some retail therapy too.....

We went to the forest.／ニューフォレストの森

Yesterday morning daddy said we would go to a mystery tour. Exciting isn’t it?

The place we arrived was a forest. I wondered if daddy would get lost...again, but then I saw he had a map in his hand so decided not to worry to much.

昨日の海に引き続き、今日はCOCOとシルキーを連れて
ニューフォレストの森を歩くことに。
地図持ってるんだから迷わないよね、ダディ？

We walked in the big forest and it was very refreshing. I breathed in and out the forest air and woof! It smelt good. You know, forest smell?

森の中はとても静かで空気もとてもきれい。
ちなみに、ニューフォレストはイギリスで数少ない、
毒蛇がいる場所の一つだそうです。

We turned some corners and carried on walking. Then we saw horses ahead of us. They are wild aren’t they daddy? I didn’t know horse language but they looked very friendly. It was interesting looking at horses but they were in the middle of lunch lunch so we left them to it, and carried on.

ときどき馬がチラホラと。誰かの持ち馬ではなくて
森で暮らしている馬なんですって。

Then we came to the road and daddy said we would walk along the road. But you know, it wasn’t a quiet road but very busy road without pavement. It is Scary, daddy!! Besides the side of the road was very bushy. I don’t do bushy, you know that daddy don’t you!! You got lost again didn’t you!! Why didn’t you take your satnav with you daddy!!

途中で雨が降ってきて、しかもやっぱり道に迷い・・・

Still daddy never admitted the fact he got lost.

Anyway we had to go along this road. Silky always wants to chase cars and it was too dangerous so mummy carried her and walked quickly so I had to follow. I was miserable...

小さな町に行くために交通の激しい道路を歩く羽目に。
そして見かけたこの動物病院。わらぶき屋根で可愛い。

Finally we came to the pavement part but now it started raining. After a while we arrived at a small town and mummy and daddy had cream tea while Silky and I had a small lunch lunch while being admired by passers by.

Now, we had to go back but I definitely didn’t walk back along the bushy dangerous road. Luckily daddy led us into the forest and we could manage to go back to the part of the forest we were in.

That was a relief.

小さな町でお昼を食べてさて帰り道。さすがに復路は迷わずに帰れましたが、
まー！雨上がりだからかナメクジがすごいすごい！
しかもデカイ！中には軽く１０ｃｍ超えるのも。

On our way back it stopped raining. Actually mummy and I were a bit worried about snakes, but what do you think we saw a lot? Slugs!! There were slugs everywhere. Some were even looked as though slug family gathering together or having afternoon catching up with neighbours. Anyway why are they so big, daddy?

とっても大きな森で、行きも帰りもほとんど人を見かけませんでした。
雨に濡れてドロドロに鳴っちゃったけど、ログの上で記念撮影。

Finally we came back to where we started from and our mystery tour finished. We had walked for 7 hours and mummy’s pedometer showed 35000 steps. Daddy calculated roughly and it means that we walked about 26 km (16 miles). Daddy, I don’t think my favourite vet Andy would be happy about it.

朝１０時から夕方５までほぼ歩きっぱなしだったウォーキング。
マミーの歩数系は３５０００歩を超えてました。ざっと２６キロ？
迷ったし、行ってしまったからには戻るしかなく、その結果こんなに歩いてしまいました。
ハー疲れた。

Silky and I were wet and dirty but mummy washed us with nice warm water. After that Silky and I felt very tired and slept like a puppy.

When I got up yesterday morning daddy said that we would go to the sea . Woof? Didn’t he have to go to work yesterday? Really? Hooray!!

月曜日なのにダディが海に連れて行ってくれてん！
COCOの誕生日週だから特別に休んでくれてんね、ダディ！

It is because this is my birthday week isn’t it? It is special week isn’t it, daddy?

Daddy bought his new gadget (satnav) last week so we arrived at Lepe country park in 1 hour and 30 minutes. If he hadn’t it would have taken a lot longer, by the way.

先週買ったカーナビのお陰で１時間半で海に到着。
ダディ～、何の写真撮ってんのぉ？

Woof!! All I could see was the sea!!

Daddy tried to get Silky and me in the water but the water was moving lively and there was lots of seaweed so we didn’t know what to do except barking.

ダディがCOCOとシルキーを海に連れてきた理由は・・・

Mummy told daddy not to force them to swim and daddy was nodding. It is true. You shouldn’t force should you? When you learn how to swim you should feel you want to shouldn’t you?

なに？

なに、なに？

Daddy seemed to give up, and then we walked along the beach. Daddy took photos of us here and there and we came to a quieter and cleaner part of the beach.

水泳を教えるためでーす！

Again daddy got in the water and called us. Even though there was no seaweed it was the same thing for me and Silky. We only barked at daddy.

ダディ「ほら、入って来なさい！」
COCO、シルキー「・・・」

Then, what do you think he did?

He carried Silky, walked in the water and put Silky in the water!! Silky swam very well and it seemed she enjoyed it. Well, she had swum before in Windsor Great Park to get ducks hadn’t she?

COCOとシルキーがモタモタしていたら、ダディがひとりずつ抱えて海に連れて入り、
ドッボーン！！

Now, daddy came back and carried me and walked into the water. I was half excited and half scared. Can I swim like Silky? Or am I going to sink in the water?

スパルタ、ダディです。
これを数回繰り返したら、何だかフタリとも水に慣れて嬉しそうでした。

Woof!! I could swim!! It was fun!!

We repeated this a couple of times and our swimming lesson finished. After this swimming lesson we walked around the park a little and mummy and daddy had ice cream and left the sea.

Can we have swimming lesson again, daddy? Then, Silky and I should get pretty bikinis, shouldn’t we?

Park walkies, Mexico and Costa Rica.／公園散歩とメキシカとコスタリカ

On Saturday and on Sunday daddy took us to the park by car. I hadn’t been there so it was woofly exciting!!

I ran, ran and ran with Silky and barked, barked and barked when Silky showed her ball performance. I hadn’t seen her performance for a while and woof!! If you see her performance closely you will be amazed. It is true isn’t it, daddy?

土日はダディの車で久しぶりに公園に。

I chased squirrels with Silky and it was fun. I used to run a lot in the park but before I started my short walkies I didn’t run anymore and what mummy and daddy thought was that I wasn’t interested or I didn’t want to run with Silky.

シルキーと一緒に久しぶりに思いっきり走ってーん！気持ち良かった、楽しかった！

No!! I wanted, but I just didn’t feel like running. I think I always felt a bit down and it was maybe because of my legs. Now my tiny legs are getting better and I was so happy running in the park today. But there was one problem...I snapped at other doggies a lot. Mummy and daddy said my attitude had become worse. Hmmm...I don’t know why. Anyway if they don’t come to me I wouldn’t have to snap would I?

さて先週、ジョーンお婆ちゃんがクルーズ中に作ってくれたサンフランシスコ土産の
スカーフと帽子、そしてアラスカ土産のバンダナを披露しましたね。
引き続き、今日はメキシコ衣装と・・・

I had been wondering what the bag was which was hanging in front of the cupboard for a while. I could smell nanny Joan so I sniffed it a lot but I never could see what the content was.

Today I found out. It was more gifts which nanny Joan had made for me and Silky on the cruise.

コスタリカ衣装でございます。

Last week I showed California frilly scarf and a hat, and also Alaskan pink bandana. Today, I will show you our Mexican costume and Costa Rican frilly scarf and a hat with flower. Thank you again, nanny Joan.

いかがでしょう？
カリフォルニア、アラスカ、メキシコにコスタリカ。どれが一番似合ってるかしら～？
もっと色んな国の衣装が欲しくなったCOCOとシルキー。
日本の着物は持ってるから、ハワイとかエジプトにブラジル。スペインのフラメンコも良いかも！

How do we look? And which one is your most favourite? I have Japanese, which is kimono don’t I? Hmmm...I wonder if mummy and daddy could make more foreign costumes, such as Hawaiian, Egyptian or Brazilian. Woof, Spanish Flamenco costume would be beautiful, don’t you think daddy?

ところでダディ・・・９日はCOCOの誕生日やねん。

Anyway, I an knackered after energetic park walkies. By the way, my birthday will be soon. So daddy, this week will be a special week won’t it? Then can you take me somewhere by your car everyday?

特別な週だから、マミーとのショートウォークじゃなくて、
毎日車でどっかに連れてってくれたら楽しいだろうなぁ～。
そしたらシルキーも嬉しいなぁ～。

Poor Silky／可哀相なシルキー

ちょっと前までは、シルキーと遊ぶ気がしなかったのに、ここ数日、とっても元気やねん。

Silky and I played a lot in the morning. I hadn’t felt like playing with Silky for a while but recently I’ve been chirpy and running around is very exciting! Is it because my tiny legs are getting better?

走り回るのがすっごい楽しいし、これって足が良くなってきてるんかな？

遊びまくってオモチャが散らばってる～

Silky went to the park and she was as noisy as usual and ran around a lot.

シルキーはいつもの通り公園で吠えまくり、走りまくり、

ボールで遊び、元気ハツラツ！

Soon after Silky and mummy came back, mummy took me to the Focus park. Then again I felt very contented as though lots of happy words were flying around me.

シルキーの散歩の後はCOCOのショートウォーク。
何だか本当に幸せ気分でハッピーな言葉が周りを飛んでる感じやねん。

When mummy and I came back Silky went outside for poo. And oh my woof...it wasn’t good. She is having a bad tummy for the first time since she came to this household.

２０分程で帰ってきたら、シルキーが外に出ておトイレ。
これが・・・

Mummy took her to the bathroom and washed her bottom. Mummy said that Silky was very good. She lifted her tail up and let mummy rinse her bottom.

「わたちのお腹、どうなったのぉ？」
下痢なんです！でもとっても良い子で、お風呂に連れて行ったら
シッポをピンとあげてお尻をあらわせてくれました。

Mummy and I are wondering why. What could be the reason for Silky to have a bad tummy.

変わった物を食べたとは思わないので、もしかしてキッチンで
レタス、人参、キュウリ等々をあげすぎちゃったのかな・・・
でもこのキラキラオメメで「ちょうだい～」って見つめられるとついつい。

Mummy cannot think that she ate anything strange. One thing mummy can think of is that Silky might have had too much salad thing in the kitchen. She loves salad and because her tummy is much tougher than mine, mummy let her eat pieces of carrot, lettuce or cucumber. Mummy says it is difficult to ignore her twinkling eyes looking up her pleading for salad. Tut tut tut...

Mummy, she is still a puppy girl so you have to be careful.

Silky looks OK but she did another small runny poo. Now she is resting on her chair (since when?).

Silky, my tummy is extremely sensitive so I know how you feel.

まだパピーなんだから気をつけなくては・・・反省。
COCO「私のお腹は超弱いから、気持ちはよー分かるよ、シルキー」
ダディが帰ってくるまでに部屋を片付けてね、COCO！
（COCOは自分でオモチャを片付けられまーす。）

“What a messy room it is!! Toys everywhere!!” This is what daddy always says to me. I have to tidy before daddy gets home.

I'm a noisy girl.／私は煩い女の子

Daddy, did you notice I was a bit grumpy when you left home this morning?

今日はご機嫌ナナメのCOCO　朝のお見送りも
シルキー「いってらっしゃーい、ダディ！」
COCO「どうでもいいわ・・・」

Well, anyway, I will tell about Silky first.

シルキーはいつもハッピーガール。今日はリスが一杯いてウハウハ。
この木の周りには10匹ぐらい集まってナッツを食べていました。
シルキーが来たらみんな退散！矢印のところに一匹、見えますか？

She enjoyed her park walkies as usual. She said that it was squirrel heaven today because Mrs J had put lots of nuts out for them. She saw about 10 squirrels around one big tree so she ran! But they quickly climbed up the tree and didn’t move at all as if they were hiding from Silky. Silky could see one squirrels so she waited for a while, but mummy called her so she had to go. Mummy is a real spoilsport.

Still, she enjoyed showing off her ball performance in the middle of the park.

Hmmm...I’m not in a very good mood today. Do you know why, daddy? I couldn’t sleep last night because I was sad about what you had said to me.

さて、COCOがなぜご機嫌ナナメかと言うと、ダディにワンワン吠えていたら
「COCOを静かにさせるミュートボタンがほしい」って言ったから。
COCO「ダディは私のトークが好きだと思ってたのに・・・」

You said that you wanted a mute button for me, like the one on your TV. I was shocked...I thought you liked my chirpy barking. I know sometimes I bark too much. Yes, it is true in some of Silky’s videos the one who is barking a lot is me not Silky. But this barking is all for you, daddy.

マミーが洗濯物を干す間、お庭でリラックス。
でもダディが私のトークを嫌いだなんて「なんて残念・・・」
やっぱりちょっと暗い表情のCOCO

What a shame that you don’t like my barking. I helped mummy with hanging the washing in the garden. Sitting in the garden made me feel a bit relaxed but still my heart was aching.

フォーカスパークでも溜息顔

Mummy cheered me up and took me to the Focus park. I posed for mummy but I couldn’t smile. All I could do was sighing...

シルキーは満足なお散歩をして柔らかい陽の当たる場所でお昼寝。

Silky looks very comfortable dozing in the soft sunlight...Well, I’ll be in my bed so leave me alone.

え！ダディが帰ってきたん？
シルキー「お帰り、ダディ！」　COCO「どうでもいいわ・・・」
この後、いつもどおりワンワン吠えてダディにベッタリでした。

Meditation...／瞑想・・・

マミーとシルキーのお散歩を百万ドルのスマイルでお見送り。
「マミー、お散歩楽しんできてね～」

When mummy and Silky went out for walkies, I saw off mummy with my million dollar smile. She was very happy with my smiley face, daddy.

数日振りの公園。シルキーは大喜びでボール技を披露。キャッチ！

マミーのところにちゃんと持って戻ってきます。

Silky hadn’t been to the park for a few days so she said it had been fun. She ran, retrieved and jumped to show off her ball skills in the middle of the park. She wanted to do more but mummy called it a day because she is still a puppy girl. Still, she chased birds and squirrels passionately and when mummy called her she came back to mummy immediately. What a clever girl. I always wait for mummy to come.

そしてジャンプ！後ろからなのが残念・・・

「もっと走ってジャンプできるよ～」
でもまだパピーだから控えめにね。この後はリスとハトを追い掛け回し、

Anyway, after walking around the big park they came to this small river in the smaller park. She looks satisfied doesn’t she? I like listening to her walkies story because I haven’t been to the park with them for a while now. I miss it daddy.

いつもの小川のほとりで大満足の大あくび。

Then, now it was my turn to go to Focus park.

さて、次はCOCO姫の番。フォーカスパークへの道中、柄の悪い１０代の男の子３人に遭遇。
セクシャルな態度でからかわれました。そんな事ではへこたれへんで！
さて、そんな嫌なことは忘れてリラックス・・・

On the way I met Mr Hamish and had a chat about my condition. And then we encountered three young teenage boys by the park. Mummy passed them but they looked at me so I said hello wagging my tail. They said “Lassie, Lassie”, mummy was smiling and then one of them said something. Their English was double Dutch, daddy. And then they called mummy “Oi!! Oi!!! When mummy looked back they were doing some nasty sexual movement...B^$£"!&S!!

ところがまだ何か言ってる！振り返ったら一人残ったヤツがまたもや同じ動きを。
「いい加減にせーよ！」オーラを送ってやったらスゴスゴと去って行きました。
一人では何も出来ない落ちこぼれ。やだやだ。
そんなことは放っておいて「穏やかに・・・」

Soon after one of them was still calling mummy “Oi!!”, but now he was on his own, doing the same foolish movement. Mummy gave him very cold look and then he quietly left. What an embarrassing human being he was, daddy.

その後、帰り道にはお坊ちゃま学校の学生様たちに遭遇。
COCOをナデナデしながらお母様のワンちゃんのことをお話ししてくれました。
別れ際には爽やかに「楽しい午後を過ごしてください！」てなことを。
育ちが違うってこういうことね・・・さて、「気持ちを静めましょう・・・」

On the other hand, when we went back towards the house we encountered boys from the lovely private boys school. One of the boys stroked me and talked about his mum’s dog. And then he said “Have a good afternoon!” What a pleasant boy he was!!

Now I know I shouldn’t wag my tail for those loosers daddy.

Anyway daddy, except for those nasty B*^%$£"S my walkies was very relaxing and the weather was very comfortable. I sat in the garden afterwards and it was even more meditating...Zzzz....

事の起こりはCOCOが柄の悪い男の子たちに愛想よくシッポを振ってしまったのが始まり。
あんなのには愛想よくせずに放っておけば良いのよ、COCO。
さ、いやなことは忘れて瞑想・・・Zzzz・・・

Big thunder...／デッカイ雷

We got new books from the library for you, daddy. “Blood” “Fight” woof, they sound brutal don’t they?

なぜかいつもマミーがダディの為に図書館で本を借りるんです。
村上春樹が好きだから、それ系を選んだら「面白くない」と。ならばと選んだこの２作。
COCO「ものすごく恐ろしい・・・」　シルキー「それなのに心を釘付けにしてしまう・・・」
というストーリーだそうです。

When mummy came back from the library she found her oven teddy bear glove by the door again. Silky had taken a kitchen cloth and a tea towel in the past few days and every time she was told off. So she decided to take the oven glove today. Silky, they are all the same to mummy, leave them alone.

図書館から帰ったら、久しぶりにテディベア鍋つかみが玄関に。
ここ数日、毎日家に帰ると布巾が玄関にあったので叱ったから、
今日は鍋つかみにしようとでも思ったのか？

When I was about to go out for my short walkies it started raining. And then we heard very loud thunder!! My ears were tense and I was staring at the window, terrified. On the other hand, Silky was quite relaxed. She was looking at the window like I was but maybe she was only wondering what the noise was.

そして散歩に出ようと思ったら土砂降りの雨が！

すごい雷、稲光。窓を見つめるCOCOとシルキーです。

Daddy, I don’t understand what Silky is scared of. When I am not scared she is scared and when I am she isn’t.

In the afternoon, someone ding-donged the door. It was Hairy D. He had been to Scotland to visit his wife’s family, and they got this VIOLETS thing for mummy and daddy. He said that this sweetie was a Scottish tradition.

午後、誰かがドアをピンポーン。近所のデイブさんがスコットランドのお土産をくれました。
アーモンドメレンゲのベースにバタークリームが乗っていて、それをチョコレートで
コーティングしたお菓子。メッチャ美味しかったです！

Mummy put one in front of us for this photo taken but then she put it back in the box. Why don’t you eat it, mummy? I wonder what it tastes like...Don’t worry daddy. I know I cannot eat it because it says “Chocolate”. Hmmm...It smelt yummy, though.

Anyway daddy, Hairy D said that it was the best to eat cold so the Violets are waiting for you in the fridge.

Nanny Joan and Grandaddy Mick are back／クルーズ土産

We went to London by choo-choo train on Saturday to see nanny Joan and granddaddy Mick, who had been to everywhere for 10 weeks on a huge cruise ship. Hmmm...it sounds exciting doesn’t it daddy? Can you take me on a world cruise one day? I wonder if they allow doggies though...they should do shouldn’t they?

We had lovely lunch lunch together and then, we got very fashionable gifts from nanny Joan. Thank you, nanny Joan!!

まず、サンフランシスコのフラワースカーフとヒラヒラ帽子
COCOにはCOCOカラーのピンク、

そしてシルキーにはシルキーカラーの黄色
ジョーンお婆ちゃんの手作りです。
クルーズ中、船内での手作り教室で作ってくれました。

The first one was pretty frilly flower power scarf and ribbon in pink for me, and in yellow for Silky from Sanfrancisco. How do we look? We must have looked very pretty because mummy was really over the moon when we wore them.

You mustn’t think this is it. We also got a Mexican costume and Costa Rica costume too, and they are all handmade by nanny Joan!!! I will show you these...maybe in a few days time. Don’t miss it!!

We got one more thing which was a pink doggie bandana from Alaska. They are eye-catching shocking pink and very confortable to wear.

Silky and I decided to wear this bandana for our little walk along the river Themes. It was very busy there and quite a few people admired me and Silky as usual. We saw many performers, skateboarders, bikers and so on at South bank. It was very interesting place to go isn’t it daddy?

以前はコベントガーデンでたくさん見かけたけれど、
数年前からこの辺に移動してきたみたいです。

And then we walked under the railway which was an authorized graffiti place. some of the graffiti was artistic and good wasn’t it, daddy? I wonder if anyone could draw me like that. You know, using colourful spray and things with writing “Fashion Diva Coco”.

On Sunday, it was HOT!! We went to Staines by car to get daddy’s new gadget.

日曜日は車でダディのオモチャを買いに、アラスカ土産のバンダナをつけてお出かけ
とっても暑い一日でした。「暑い！」と叫ぶシルキーに
「モデルたるもの、そんなことでどないする！」と渋い表情のCOCO

ウチは暑くたって笑顔は忘れまへん！
暑さのあまり妙な関西弁になってます・・・。

Silky and I wore our Alaskan bandana and took photos here and there. You know, even in the hot weather you mustn’t forget being a professional model. So I was a bit shocked when Silky shouted “HOT!!” in the middle of the modelling.

ダディは新しいオモチャ（カーナビ）を買ってご満悦。
「方向感覚には自信がある！」と意地を張ってカーナビ購入を拒否し続けた数年。
この数年の犬連れの旅での苦い経験＋夏のホリデー間近ということで
やっと買う気になったんです。

We walked along the river to get to the little park where mummy and daddy had ice cream. Humans are lucky aren’t they?

家に到着後、どこかに消えたダディ。
どうやらカーナビでウハウハと遊びに行ったようです。
迷わず帰ってきたら良いけれど・・・

今日もルンルンフォーカスパーク
帰り道にコスプレが趣味のクロエちゃんに会ったよ。

On our way home from Focus park we met Mr Poppy2’s daughter who is into Cosplay thingy. She is very happy to be a model for your photography, daddy. She even said that she would get a new wig in August. She showed us one of her photo in her blue wig and it was as if she was a Sailor Moon girl!!

シルキーはいつもの公園へ。
リスやハトを追いかけボール技披露といういつもの散歩

Silky said that she had enjoyed the park as usual, showing her ball performance and chasing birds and squirrels. On the way to the gate she saw Mr small goggies sitting on the bench. All the pack members were sitting by the bench with the master. She thought she should say “Hello” but everyone was barking so she couldn’t. Don’t worry, Silky. They are always barking but quite friendly so you can say hello next time.

I had been waiting for mummy & Silky to come home because I wanted to play. You know, I am a chirpy girl now aren’t I?

I welcomed them and offered my favourite ice cream to Silky, but Silky wasn’t interested. I offered her play fighting but she said she was tired.

走りまくって疲れたシルキーはアイスクリームに反応なし。
それならシルキーが好きなプレイファイト！「シルキー、遊ぼうや～」

疲れてるからお昼寝したいんやけど・・・

Finally, I used her favourite tug rope as a last resort. She looked at it, obviously looked tempted but she left me. This can’t be happening...

それなら！と取り出したシルキが生まれ故郷から持参したタグロープ
COCO「これは拒めないんちゃう？」　シルキー「・・・」

大好きなロープを見せられても、疲れ果てたシルキーはCOCOの誘いを無視

Anyway, I am not the type of doggie who is dwells on things, so I will be waiting for you to play with me, daddy!!

シルキー、ゆっくりお昼寝してしょうだい。COCOも寝るから気にしなくてええよ。

昨日あたりから、COCOは何だかやけに陽気になってきました。

Since yesterday mummy has been saying that I seemed chirpy. Do I?

足の痛みがひいたのかな？お薬が効いた？　それとも休んでいるのが良い？
お天気にもよるのかなぁ？

Actually I think I feel more comfortable when I walk now, and I walked ahead of mummy when she took me to Focus park today. In the station I sat down but not that I was tired but I could smell something yummy in the air. There is a small kiosk by the station but they don’t serve yummy food do they, daddy?

引き続きシルキーとは別々のお散歩ということで、
今日もCOCOは駅を通り抜けてフォーカスパークへ。
「なーんか美味しそうな匂いがするねんけど・・・」

When we came back from Focus park mummy took me in the garden as usual. I felt like laughing...laughing...Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Daddy, I feel very chirpy today.

２０分程のショートウォークの後はお庭で。確かに何だか明るいCOCO姫

Silky seems happy too. Maybe it is because I have been playing with her recently. I used to play with her but then I didn’t feel like running around. It could have been because of my dainty legs. I don’t know if Metacam is working, having a rest is good or something to do with the weather. But anyway resting is definitely good for my condition isn’t it, daddy? But daddy, can you take me to somewhere fun this weekend? Because I am getting a bit bored.

でもやっぱりCOCOも早く公園に行けるようになりたいよね。
シルキーは毎日、公園で走りまくって楽しく過ごしてるもんね
ボール技披露以外で今日のシルキーのお散歩中の主な出来事といえば・・・

You know, Silky goes to the park every day and it is very nice that people ask about me, but Silky said she had met a 14 year-old Maltese from Devon today, greeted a big Husky, the tail of a big Labrador was like a fan on her head and so on. I miss that kind of...you know...some drama in my life. Well, that bad tummy and things were quite a scary drama but I want some flowery drama.

It is mummy’s birthday today so Silky and I sang “Happy Birthday to you” for mummy. I wanted you to take some part but you are at work so...anyway, mummy will understand.

After this passionate singing it started raining, so Silky and I had a loooong nap nap, a short training and lots of playing together.

シルキーとなが～いお昼寝やちょっとしたトレーニング、

そしてたくさん遊んで雨が止むのを待つことにしました。

Then someone ding-donged the door. Who is it? We barked and barked, and it was a parcel man with a big parcel which addressed to daddy. Is it a birthday present for mummy which daddy ordered for mummy? Silky thinks it is hers. We sniffed it....what is it?

と、そこへ小包が届いたよ。マミーの誕生日プレゼント？
いやいや、ダディが自分用にオーダーしたカメラのレンズでした。
ステキな写真を一杯撮ってちょうだいよっ！

Mummy says she doesn’t know the sender so she doesn’t want to open it. Could it be something dangerous? Who’s got this mysterious parcel on mummy’s birthday, daddy?

To be honest, daddy, I think mummy is secretly excited about this parcel. You know, I can feel that she thinks it might be a “SURPRISE!!” from you. I want to open it but it might explode so I will wait until you come home, daddy.

When daddy got home he was excited. It was a new lens for his camera. He says he will take nice photos of everyone. How could he have been so cruel to mummy.

After I saw daddy off this morning, I was having a relaxing morning nap nap.
What is this noise??? 　I could hear some strange noise...who is there? Is it Silky? What are you doing there...Zzzz...

ダディをお見送りした後はオネムの時間
なんだかガリガリという音が聞こえる様な・・・何やろ？

After a while mummy called me and pointed at this scratched wall. I didn’t do it. I might have done something like this when I was a little puppy girl but I am nearly 4 years old so surely I wouldn’t do such a childish thing. Mummy asked me who I thought had done it but I didn’t want to dob my little sister in so I kept saying “I don't know.” while she investigated.

マミーが「この壁は誰がガリガリしたの！」と。告げ口なんて出来へんやん。
だから尋問の間「知らない・・・でもCOCOじゃない」って頑張ってん。

Mummy called Silky and asked the same question but Silky stuck to our lie.

今度はシルキーを問い詰めるマミー。
でもシルキーも「私じゃないし・・・」と口裏を合わせる

It seemed that mummy gave up so we were relieved, but then mummy asked what the white stuff on Silky’s nose was. Dear Dear...

マミー　諦めたみたい。ホッ。。。としたのも束の間、
「シルキーの鼻に付いた白いの何？」って。あーあ・・・バレた。

When I went for a lunch time walkies Silky saw me off on the stairs today. We’ll be back soon, Silky.

そんなこんなの午前中を終えて、COCOがお昼のお散歩へ行く時間。
シルキーは階段でお見送り。

We had walked for about 20 minutes and 3 people admired my pink harness and lead. Actually, quite a few people have been admiring this set haven’t they?

At the vet a nurse said it was pretty and even Andy the vet also liked this didn’t he? Mummy said that nanny Masae had bought this for me a few years ago in Japan. Mine is a pink cherry pattern and there were yellow banana pattern and red strawberry pattern too.

この日本製ハーネス＆伸縮リードで歩くと、たくさんの人が「可愛いのつけてるね！」って。
獣医さんまでが褒めてくれました。こんな可愛いのは日本じゃないと売ってないものね。

I think Silky wants a banana one, so when you go to Japan next time you should get one for her, daddy. If they still sell this Fruit village series.

When I got to the station a train came. What a great timing!! Hurry up, mummy!! However, mummy said we would only walk through the station to go to Focus park. She is a spoilsport isn’t she?

駅に着いたら電車が到着。「マミー、早く！」
乗るのかと思ったら、フォーカスパークに行くために駅を通り抜けるだけやってん。

In Focus park I saw Katy the sheltie’s brother Richard but he was extremely shy so we had to go quietly.

After my walkies I sat in the garden. It was comfortable...I felt sleepy...mummy, you can go to the park with Silky. I will be fine here. However, mummy said someone might kidnap me and took me home.

She is a real spoilsport.

フォーカスパークで用を足して、ちょっとお庭で一服

だーんだん眠くなるぅ～。
「マミー、シルキーつれて公園に行ってきてええよ。私はここで大丈夫やから。」
でも誘拐されたら困るので家に連れて入りました。

Silky said that the Dutch lady had asked about me in the park. People care about me...what a lucky girl I am!!

公園でオランダ人のマリオンさんがCOCOは元気？って。
COCO、みんな心配してくれてるよ～。

マリオンさんのミニシュナ　スージーちゃんはCOCOと同じような歩き方を時折するそう。
でも異常があるわけではないそうで・・・。
そんな会話の間、シルキーはリスエリアでリスを追いかけ土を掘り・・・。

Mummy explained to the Dutch lady about my condition and then she said that one of her Miniature Schnauzers, Suzy, had a similar limp. The Dutch lady called Suzy and when she ran towards her mummy it was really the same sort of limp as mine. Suzy is 3 years old and quite a small girl like me. The Dutch lady was quite sure it was nothing serious. Still she said I had been doing quite long walks like other people had said so maybe if I rest my tiny legs for a while I will be fine won’t I daddy?

シルキーに比べたら細いくて小さい足のCOCO。
皆さん、「COCOちゃんは歩きすぎだったんじゃないの？」と言われます。
アジリティで無理したこともあったしねぇ。とにかくしばらくはショートウォークで安静に。

In the afternoon mummy went to her Yoga class. Daddy, do you know when they have relaxation time at the end of the session mummy always falls asleep. Embarrassing isn’t she?

月曜日はマミーのヨガの日。帰ってきてからCOCOとシルキーにポーズを伝授。
「リラックスして、ふか～い呼吸をしましょう・・・」

Anyway, mummy taught us a bit of Yoga today. You should try, daddy!!

My peacefull weekend.／平和な週末

まだ足は休ませなくちゃダメだけど、お腹の調子は元通り。
週末はとってもリラックスして過ごし、ダディの車でCOCOも久しぶりに公園へ。

I had quite relaxing and peaceful weekend. Even though I have to rest my legs my tummy is perfect now. What a wonderful thing it is having a perfectly good tummy!!

COCOが楽しくルンルンと楽しく歩く中、
シルキーはいつもどおりボール技を披露したり、

初めましてのワンちゃんに挨拶したり（シルキー膨らんでます）、

I went to the park by daddy’s car. I haven’t been to the park since last weekend so I enjoyed being there. Silky was running all the time and saying hello to other doggies. I shouldn’t run too much and also I am not “Running” sort of Sheltie, but still I ran and barked a lot and it was fun and refreshing. I want to go to the park like I used to but I have to rest my legs for a while don’t I, daddy? If I rest my legs properly now, you will take me somewhere nice for holiday won’t you daddy?

After the walkies Silky had a nap nap and I was out in the garden with mummy and daddy to do some gardening.

お散歩の後、シルキーはお昼寝。COCOはマミー、ダディとお庭のお手入れ。
ボサボサに伸びたカーネーションを切ったら、カタツムリが数匹出てきました。
子供の頃は平気だったけど・・・気持悪い。

The garden had been messy but mummy and daddy pulled some bushy things and it became much much tidier. In the bush there were a lot of insects and also small snails. I looked at them closer...Hmmm...they are strange shape aren’t they, daddy? It must be quite annoying having that big thing on their back all the time.

In the middle of the garden the green rug was hanging. Do you know why???

お庭に干してあるグリーンのラグ。シルキーがお漏らししてしまいました。
週末はダディが朝のお散歩担当。ダディが着替えている間、シルキーがうるさいから
マミーが注意。マミーの声を聞いたとたんに静かになり、そしてピーっと。

いつもは大丈夫なのになぁ～。

Silky wet the rug this morning. She was in her bedroom calling daddy passionately to take her out for morning walkies. When daddy was getting ready mummy said “Silky, be quiet.” Then she went quiet...she peed on the rug. This is the second time in about 10 days. Silky, don’t pee on the rug tonight otherwise mummy has to wash it again.

Another rainy day／また雨の一日

Mummy took me for a short walkies before raining, and then I sat in the garden for a bit. I like it there because I can feel the comfortable breeze, I can hear birds singing, and most of all I feel very relaxed there.

今日はジメジメとした一日。お昼のお散歩の後はお庭へ。COCOはお庭が大好き。
鳥を眺めたり～、風に吹かれたり～。リラックスできるねん。

Mummy’s garden is messy, though. Mummy says that it is because she is a beginner at gardening but it was much more beautiful last year, wasn’t it? I hope it will become better in July and August, when we have a barbie. We will have a barbie or two won’t we daddy?

でも何だかマミーのお庭ゴチャゴチャしてるねん。真夏にはキレイになるやろか？
夏はバーベキューのシーズン。今年もお庭でバービーするやんね、ダディ。

Still a few flowers are blooming and I picked this pink carnation. How do I look, daddy? I will give this to Silky later. She won’t eat it will she?

COCOさん、とってもリラックスしてはります。

今はカーネーションがボーボーと咲き始めてますよ。

I got in the house because it started raining. Then it stopped so mummy took Silky out. After a while it started raining. I wonder...they have gone to the park haven’t they?

About an hour later they came back.

シルキーの公園への散歩の途中で雨が降り出しました。
COCOは雨の中を歩くのは好きじゃないけど、シルキーには関係なし。
走って走って楽しんでました。ずぶ濡れになって帰ってもこの笑顔。

Silky was soaked, but look at her happy face!! Mummy said she didn’t mind at all, she even enjoyed running in the rain. I cannot believe it.

去年の夏、Facebookでブログを始めた時の一番最初のブログは雨の日のこと。
COCOは歩くのを拒否したから、マミーが傘をさしつつCOCOを抱っこして家まで
帰りました。あの頃COCOはちょっとポッチャリの約７キロ（現在5.6キロ）。辛かった～

Daddy, do you remember my very first dog blog on Facebook? On the day it was raining on the way home. Mummy had an umbrella but I was out of the umbrella and didn’t want to walk in the rain, so mummy carried me home.

COCOとシルキーは性格も体型も何もかもが正反対。
全く違うから時々ちょっと面倒なこともあるけど、違うからこそとっても楽しいです。

Silky and I are very different aren’t we? But mummy says that because we are very different it is so much fun to have us both.

Mummy took me out after lunch time and it was as short as usual. I wanted to walk more but mummy said that I must rest. I was upset.

いつも通りCOCOはショートウォーク。「もっと歩きたい！」とCOCOは不満
そこで「シルキーのお散歩の間、ドレスアップして遊んでたら？」と提案。

Then mummy said that I could do some dressing up during Silky’s walkies. Oh, that is good. I haven’t done it for a while. Hold on??? Last night mummy and daddy were looking up something about Royal Ascot. Daddy said the most expensive ticket was around £800. I wonder... how many boxes of Pedigree’s milky biscuits can I buy with £800?

Anyway, I think daddy is going to take me to Royal Ascot as a reward for being a brave girl at the vet. That is why mummy told me to do some dressing up isn’t it? She meant I should choose some elegant outfit for Royal Ascot didn’t she?

Oh...I don’t have anything for those posh events. Let me see...I should wear pink shouldn’t I? Let me see...let me see...

一番高いチケットは８００ポンドぐらいするねんてー。
きっと連れて行ってくれるんやわ！衣装選ばな～。

Maybe I should change the dress. And this organdie hat which I rearranged the shape. Hmmm...I don’t like it.

Or better yet, how about this straw hat. I saw a lady wearing an elegant dress on the train yesterday and she had a straw hat with some flowers.

これじゃロイヤル・アスコットに行かれへん。キレイにしていったら

I cannot do this, daddy. I need a posh pink hat, otherwise you cannot take me to Royal Ascot!! I don’t want to be embarrassed. Besides I might catch some famous model agency’s attention mightn’t I?

シルキーがストローハットを試着。

While I was panicking Silky was trying my straw hat. She smiled and said that she was going to race with those horses because she is very fast.

シルキーは走るのがすっごく早い。
スタンダードプードルに短距離走で勝ったことから自信は満々。
昨日のテレビ観戦以来、ロイヤル・アスコットで馬とのレースに参加したいそうです。

今日のお散歩は本通りへ。公園でよく会うオランダ人のマリオンさんとお孫さんにバッタリ。
マミーとマリオンさんがお話ししている間、COCOはお孫さんにご挨拶。
握手代わりにマズルをしばらく握られてもジッと我慢のCOCOでした。

I asked mummy to walk along the high street and there we me a Dutch lady with her grandson. Her doggies are my friends so mummy and the lady had a chat while her grandson and I were saying the “Nice to meet you” thing. The baby held my muzzle for a while but I didn’t mind, daddy.

シルキーは公園でちょっと怖い目に。
プードルのデイジーがマミーにジャンプ。マミーを守ろうと吠えたらデイジー逆切れ。
追い掛け回されて噛まれそうに。ビックリしたね、シルキー。

After my walkies Silky went to the park with mummy as usual. She said that she had had a scary moment today. Well, Silky will explain this bit;

直後は他のワンちゃんに対して警戒心が強くなった感じだったけど、
シルキーは強い。そんなショックからも直ぐに立ち直りボール技を次々と披露。
ワンちゃんたちにもちゃんと挨拶してました。ホッ。。。

Daisy came to jump at mummy so I barked at her to protect mummy, and then Daisy got upset and started chasing me seriously. I showed her my tummy but she didn’t stop and when I tried to get away Daisy tried to bite me, actually her mouth got my bottom!! I was so scared that I ran to mummy and hid between her legs.

Oh dear Daisy. If I had been there I would have protected mummy and Silky both. Anyway mummy said that Silky was a bit alert after this but soon she recovered and said hello to other doggies. That’s my baby sister!!

シルキーが帰宅後ランチを食べてCOCOは動物病院へ出掛ける時間まで
ゆっくりお昼寝。

After the walkies we had a small lunch lunch together and I went to my bed to have a luxury nap nap before we go to the vet, while Silky enjoyed Royal Ascot.

一方、シルキーはロイヤル・アスコットのホースレース観戦中です。

I went to see my favourite vet Andy today, woof..he has such gentle hands. He took mummy and daddy into the main hospital ward so that he could show them my x-rays. He expained things to them, while pointing at a skeleton on the screen (mummy said that was me, it can't be can it daddy I'm much plumper than that...).

The good news is that they can't find anything wrong with my bones and the specialist could not see anything wrong either, my limping condition and sore neck is a bit of a mystery. The bad news is that he said I should rest for a litle while and have short walkies and maybe it will heal in time.

動物病院の前にて
獣医さんと専門医の説明では骨には異常なし。
首を押さえられた際の痛みと時折のヒョコヒョコ歩きについては謎。
とにかくお散歩や暴れるのは控えめにして様子を見ましょうとのことでした。
お腹も落ち着いて、とりあえず一安心かな。公園にしばらく行けないのが辛いね。

Slow walkies／ゆっくり散歩

I went to Focus park and I liked it there but it was quiet and boring. When we walked through the station the train arrived. I wanted to get on the train but mummy pulled me, saying that we would get on the train tomorrow. She was lying wasn’t she?

今日もまたフォーカスパークにショートウォークやねん。
つまらへんからゆ～っくり歩いてたら、美容院の前に立ってた人に笑われてん。
「とーってもゆったりした散歩ねぇ～」って。あれって褒め言葉？

I was enjoying my walkies so I walked extremely slowly. When I was walking past the hairdresser’s a woman standing there was smiling, and then she started laughing. Why? Never mind, I am very sociable to people so I walked up to her and said hello with wagging tail.

She said “It is slow walking, isn’t it? Very leisurely, very leisurely.” Mummy laughed too. What is so funny about my walking? Or was it a compliment?

シルキーは公園で走って走って走りまくり、ハトを追いかけ、リスを脅し、
フリスビーやボールでエンジョイ！
パピーだから控えめにと思うのに、投げるまで吠えてうるさい、うるさい。

マミーはシルキーのすらりとした後姿が好き！
立ち方がとってもモデルしてません？

Silky said that she played with the Frisbee today. You could do “Good catch Silky II” if you want, daddy. It is as short as the ball one, or shorter.

Mummy got this Japanese doll from Hairy D for her birthday next week. Do you like it, daddy? Anyway he is a kind person isn’t he? He gave mummy a very pretty handmade card too.

マミーは近所のデイブさんから来週に控えた誕生日のプレゼントと
手作りカードをいただきました。
毎年どこからか日本のものを探してプレゼントしてくれます。
手作りカードはとっても手が込んでるんですが、
年齢がドッカーンと書かれているのでプレゼントの写真だけということで・・・。

I will go to see Andy the vet tomorrow won’t I? Mummy is getting nervous again. Oh, so I will really get on the train tomorrow, won’t I? Hooray!!

明日、COCOは動物病院へ。レントゲン撮影後のチェックアップ。
専門医からの返事が来てるかも。緊張です。異常ありませんように・・・。
シルキー、前足をカミカミしてます。

COCOとシルキーは電車に乗るのが大好き。COCO、明日は電車に乗って行くよ～。
シルキーは可哀相だけどお留守番。しっかり留守番してちょうだいね。

I'm feeling better today.／今日は良くなってきた気分

When mummy took me to Focus park it was getting sunny and bright so I felt happy and enjoyed myself there. We walked slowly and had a chat about this and that. Then I saw a few pigeons!! I looked at mummy. Can I chase them, mummy? But mummy said I couldn’t. I still have to rest my legs, don’t I?

I think my tummy is getting better because I didn’t do any poo poo this lunch time. It must be settling mustn’t it?

今日もフォーカスパークへショートウォーク。
早く公園に行けるようになります様に。
ユルユルウン〇が出なかったよ。お腹は落ち着いてきてるのかな。

Silky said that she had run a lot in the park and today she beat Daisy. Silky can run very fast can’t she? I want to see when she beats Daisy.

そしてシルキーはいつもの公園へ。
今日は短距離走でスタンダードプードルのデイジーに勝ちました！

Mummy said that Silky started to protect mummy from Daisy recently. She is friendly with Daisy but when Daisy tried to jump at mummy she told Daisy off. Mummy, I was also protecting you when I barked at her. Didn’t you know that? Anyway, I think Silky is doing my job for me because I cannot go to the park. What a clever girl!!

COCOが公園に来なくなって数日。シルキーはマミーを守ろうとします。
普段は仲良しのデイジーなのに、マミーに飛びつこうとしたらスッゴイ怒りました。

When mummy went out for Yoga, Silky and I sat on the stairs and saw mummy off. Mummy looked happy to see us together there. Why? Do you like it, daddy?

ヨガに出掛けようと玄関に行って振り返ると、フタリがこんな風に階段でお見送り。
シルキーが来た当時は近くに来ただけで怒っていたCOCOなのに。
これからもっともっと仲良くなってほしいなぁ。

My bad tummy／お腹が痛いぃ

I felt tummy ache on Thursday morning and then it got worse at night. I had to do poo every hour all night and mummy had to wash my bottom every time. When mummy let me outside for poo Silky was crying, but she sleeps inside of the baby gate so she shouldn’t be able to come down stairs. However someone ran downstairs very quickly and it was Silky. The gate was closed, wasn’t it?

COCOは木曜日の夜中から１時間おきに下痢。金曜日のお昼には血便から血だけに。
夜中、トイレに外に出していたらシルキーがこのベビーゲートを飛び越えて付いてきてビックリ。
「こんなゲート簡単に飛び越えられるもーん」

Yes, she jumped over this high baby gate. When she is desperate she will do anything.

In the morning I started to pass the blood so mummy called the vet and got the appointment. But soon my poo became only blood. It was very scary.

Mummy was going to take me by train but my condition was bad so she asked Mr Rose to drive us to the vet. He used to drive an ambulance so his driving was woofly fast, daddy. I even got sick.

The vet said I could stay in the hospital or could go home. When I stayed in the hospital last time my condition was lot worse but this time my temperature was OK and I wasn’t dehydrated so mummy took me home saying if my condition deteriorated mummy would take me back to the hospital.

獣医さんでお薬を貰って帰宅。どんどん出血がひどくなってきて、嘔吐も。
でも、お薬を飲んだら徐々に治まりました。

However every time I tried poo it was only blood so mummy started worrying very much. I mustn’t eat until night so couldn’t take any medicine yet so I just had to endure.

翌日はだいぶマシになって、車で公園に行って軽いウォーキング。
COCOの顔にも笑顔が。でもまだウン〇はユルユルです。

At night mummy and daddy gave me chicken and rice and I ate it. And then I took medicine. I vomited the food about an hour later but it seemed medicine started working so my blood poo stopped. I didn’t do any poo over night and on Saturday I felt much better and I had a good appetite, though I mustn’t eat much. Anyway that medicine is really like magic!!

いつもはCOCOにちょっかいを掛けるシルキーも、
様子が違うのを感じたようで、じっと見守ってました。

Today I feel much much better but still my food is a very small portion of chicken and rice, and my magic medicine. My poo is still very soft but daddy said I was getting better. Then, when can I have a little bit of sweeties, daddy? You had ice cream, cakes and all that. I tried to lick your cake and you told me off. It’s not fair.

Mummy and daddy said I would go to the vet to see Andy again. If he says everything is OK and if my tummy is better by then I can go to the park and have sweeties can’t I?

I can’t wait. Anyway I don’t want to take anaesthetic anymore, daddy.

日曜日には元気も戻ったけど、まだご飯はササミのお粥を少しずつ。
いつになったら良いウン〇が見られるのかなぁ。
原因はレントゲンの麻酔。もともとお腹が極度に弱いCOCOには
きつかったようです。もう麻酔は絶対にしたくないね、COCO。

I went to Focus park with mummy around lunch time. I don’t know why but I didn’t feel like walking very much so we walked in the park a little and soon decided to come home through the station. I didn’t like the stairs in the station but I had to walk up and down. Then, I tripped. It was scary, daddy but mummy carried me down so it was OK.

COCOはフォーカスパークへのショートウォークから帰って一休み。
マミーは引き続きシルキーのお散歩の為に準備中
「マミー、どこ行くん？」

「お散歩から帰ってきたとこやんか？」

We got home and I was relaxing on the floor. Meanwhile, mummy was getting ready. Where is she going? We’ve just got back. Hmmm? Ah, it is Silky’s turn isn’t it? I want to go to the park too, mummy. It is a bit depressing staying near the house all the time. But mummy said I needed to rest and also I have a bit of upset tummy. Dear, dear...

まだ麻酔が残っているようでボーっとしてはります。
獣医さんの説明では麻酔がすっかり覚めるのに長ければ48時間程掛かるとか。
お腹の調子もちょっと悪いです。

シルキー準備万端。COCOは外に付いて出てきてしまいました。
「マミー、私も付いて行くぅ」
COCOはしっかり休まなくてはアカンのよ・・・。

Silky talked about her walkies over our lunch lunch.

There are a few cherry trees in the park and one of them is Silky’s favourite because there are always a lot of cherries on the ground for her. However there were hardly any cherries on the ground today. Someone ate Silky’s cherries, daddy. Silky says it must be Mr Rose because she saw him eating the cherries like a monkey.

シルキーが教えてくれたサクランボの木。見上げたらこんなに一杯！
食べてみたらちょーっと苦い様な、酸っぱい様な味でした。
これから熟して美味しくなるのかなぁ？

Mummy tried a cherry from the cherry tree because Silky and Mr Rose were enjoying them very much together, but mummy thought that it was a little bit bitter and sharp.

後ろの木はシルキーお気に入りのサクランボの木。
いつも地面にたくさん落ちているのに今日は数個。
「マミー、誰かが私のチェリー食べてしまったー」

Silky enjoyed her walkies with Daisy today. They ran for birds together, sniffed around together and searched for something yummy together. Daddy, Silky said that she could run as fast as, or maybe faster than Daisy now. She also said that Mr Rose was worried about me. I want to get better soon so I have to rest don’t I?

スタンダードプードルのデイジーのパパさんが木から取って一杯食べてたよ。

今日はサクランボを諦め、シルキーはデイジーと一緒に鳥を追いかけ、
匂いをかぎまくり、楽しみました。
デイジー「何か、美味しそうな匂いがする・・・」
シルキー「デイジー、私にも見せて」
