I'm totally obsessed now with the Minted contests and can't wait for the next one to start. Hopefully I'll make more time to make and submit more designs. Making handmade cards was my first passion and now I'm taking it to the next level and making them digitally. I honestly love creating stuff with my hands, but the comfort and speed I get when working digitally is really awesome, especially now that I have a busy life. ( working six days in the week) I Hope you guys liked my Jolly card and if you have a chance you can show it some love and vote here so it can go to the next round. Yes.. It's called eavesdropping, but I like to say that I'm just "listening to the story". Listening to the voices around me and also, most of the time, the ones inside my head. At work, in the bus, in the supermarket or just on the streets, you can hear the most intriguing stories. From everyday stuff, to more tragic ones, and if your lucky.... the romantic ones. It's something I always do unconsciously. It sometimes feel like I have a sixth sense, everything shots down and all I can hear is the story. And at night, when all is gone, I listen to the "silence" and everything it brings.

Just came across this lovely piece and had to share it with you guys..

I always try again, or even better, I always keep on going in my life.. Things hurt me, I fall and fail, but I always keep going on. It's one of the things I really like about myself and I think it's also what has made me the young woman I am today..

On another note, I have the sniffles which is always a bad thing but even worse when you have allot to deal with like deadlines at work and the fact that my Macbook crashed and everything on it was lost ( or I had to pay € 932 to retrieve them ). So now I'm working hard on some of the stuff in my portfolio that got lost. I wish there was more time in a day.. Wish me luck.. ;)
