Baking Soda + Peroxide

SO if you're ANYTHING like me you love nothing more than a BRIGHT white SEXY SMILE! Furthermore if you're anything like me... Your a "Tight wad" a penny pincher or what some call frugal.... YUP I like my money right where I can see it... In my closet.. Everyone has their fix...

With that being said here is a quick tip on some at home teeth whitening HOME REMEDIES... most of this stuff you can find around your home... or at a (( cents only store near you!

THE MOST common way

Some good old Baking Soda + Peroxide... Mix the two to make a tooth paste.. Yup a Toothpaste it's quick easy effective inexpensive and you will see results FAST

Why it works:

When dissolved in water baking soda whitens (and cleans) teeth by effectively scraping off the yellow and brown stains that form with age and wear. The free radicals from the water dissolved baking soda penetrate the teeth’s enamel and lighten the stains from a yellow or brown to give a much whiter appearance.

How it works:

The most successful method of teeth whitening with baking soda is really quite easy.

Take a small glass and fill with a teaspoon of baking soda.

Add a pinch of salt.

Dissolve the mixture with water into a paste.

Brush your teeth like you would normally.

Rinse your mouth out well with water.

If you feel a tingling sensation while whitening your teeth with baking soda, don’t worry as this is normal.Who it works for:

You should only use this formula to whiten your teeth once every two weeks as baking soda is quite abrasive and can damage your tooth enamel if used too often. Baking soda can also dissolve orthodontic glue so please don’t try this teeth whitening method if you have a permanent retainer or wear braces.

OIL PULLING

The LEAST Common Way

Upon much research I have discovered "Oil Pulling"

Oil Pulling is a safe, simple, cheap and gentle ‘do it yourself home remedy’ that cures and prevents diseases and extends your healthy life.

It involves rinsing the mouth with 1 tablespoon (10ml) of oil for 15 to 20 minutes and spitting it out. You can use either sunflower oil or sesame oil, both of which are usually used for cooking and readily available in the home.

LEMON JUICE?

Yea. No! Lemon juice for teeth whitening… not a good idea.

The way lemon juice works (or not works) is by robbing your tooth enamel of calcium from the citric acid in the juice. That's not good, Think about the fact that teeth will decay much faster without the right amount of calcium.

My initial Thoughts: I really like it so far. It has a light finish and spf which I LOVE... It also has like read about a nice not too oily or too matte finish! It gives coverage and keeps your skin looking touchable and REAL! I have yet to see any of the anti-aging benefits but it's only been a few times that I've worn it. I also know that for times when you want or need MORE coverage you can use concealer and wear it UNDER foundation which is awesome!

When should I Throw my makeup away? If you're anything like me...

you answer was NEVER! It can be hard, painful and life changing but it HAS to happen sometime!

I have makeup in EVERY crevice of my home. Kitchen, bathroom bedroom and in EVERY draw in every dresser or desk. I LOVE it... kinda... actually I don't here are some tips that helped me. May it also help you.

I have a new found love for my natural hair... enters my new addiction to natural hair products... creams, oils, masks conditioners detangles and so on and so forth and then some... here are some rules I am TRYING to follow... Try with me?

I live practically 5 minuets from where the 2012 Grammys were held!

I probably heard the applaus for Adele from my kitchen Table. With the awards

the makeup and the sexy LBD Adele certainly stole the show!

WIth that being said... let's see who else wore what?

Katy Perry, Kelly Osborne and Paris Hilton have all had memorable hits and misses... though I dont't LOVE any of these looks as much as I have in the past I really Like Kelly in this Golden Grecian gown from Tony Ward. It's a great Figure huggin gown and it looks great on here. Paris Looks stodgy and typical and I'm over Katy and the Hair Dye.

I understand a PUBLICITY STUNT as much as the next person.. However Nicki is on the verge of a backlash Fergie did it best of the bunch I, however, whould have KILLED in that Orange Jean Paul Gautier gown... UGH agains my skin with some nude adornments under it! GAH! IDK why she decide on black under orange against her skin but got TENACITY GO!!

Taylor as usual looks stale and matronly on the other hand Rihanna is looking revived.. it was at the Grammys where she and ex Chris Brown has a very memorable falling out. However the blonde hair and Knee cut LBD is doing the golden girl JUSTICE ! She's glowing and youthful. Ms.Swift's stylist TAKE NOTE!

Needless to say both these women are beautiful and talented but ADELE... *sigh ADELE just radiates! She looks sleek and slender in this LBD with her signature Cat eyes and red lips she is a stunner! I would also love to see her looking a little more youthful from time to time.. but she does look amazing here.

#1 Cetaphil

Thais is one of the 1st facial Cleansers I EVER used. It a REALLY Moisturizing and GENTLE> The have formulations for ALL skin types and It's EASY on the pockets

#2 Neutrogena Healthy Defense is a GREAT moisturizer that MANY swear by. It has a light easily absorbed texture great for Oily to combination skin.

#3 Aveeno Ultra Calming is a GREAT moisturizer for sensitive skin that reacts to over stimulation or too many scents or dyes. I like this for younger people who are not too experienced in skin care.

#4 Is the SIMPLE line.. I like this again for sensitive skin. They have a few variations and this is available in the uk!

You should also make sure to get a cleanse and a toner to go with your daily Moiturizer. Make sure it goes with your skin type!

Skin Types are

Type 1: Oily Oily skin tends to shiny with enlarged pores, and is prone to blackheads and blemishes. You might experience some tightness.
Type 2: Combination/normal This skin type has medium pores, a smooth and even texture, good circulation, healthy color, may tend toward dryness on the cheeks while being oily in the t-zone

Type 3: Dry Dry skin feels tight, especially after cleansing. You have a tendency towards fine wrinkles, flaking and red patches. In women of color, skin may appear ashy or dull from dead skin buildup.

SUB Categories:

Sensitive Sensitive skin tends to be thin, delicate with fine pores. It flushes easily, is prone to broken capillaries, is frequently allergic and can be rashy.

Q: What is HYPER PIGMENTATION?
A: Pigmentation is the coloring of a person's skin. When a person is healthy, his or her skin will appear normal in color. In the case of illness or injury, the person's skin may change color, becoming darker (hyperpigmentation) or lighter (hypopigmentation)

Q: Why does Hyper Pigmentation happen?

A: Hyperpigmentation results from the increased deposition of melanin, which causes the skin to become darker in patches. Melanin is part of skin barrier defense system in that it protects against exposure to UVR and pigmented blemishes are almost always the result of excessive stimulation by sunlight

What are the Best ways to treat Hyper Pigmentation:

The best "treatment' for this condition is preventative treatment. Since pigment and the amount of melanin in your body will ultimately determine pigment and since the sun actually browns or reddens the skin, the best advice is to stay out of the sun as much as possible. Obviously, if you are exposed to the sun, you should look into using a sun screen. Broad spectrum sun screens are the best.

After the acne itself is successfully treated and under complete control, people sometimes opt to try one or more of the treatments listed below.

Retinoids: a topical treatment can help fade marks.
Peels: Salicylic acid peels
Microdermabrasion & Exfoliation

On a personal note I am a BIG fan of these products: I have used them and have gotten benefit from using them. These are not run of the mill products they have TARGETED and EFFECTIVE ingredients in them.

My thoughts: This stuff is MAGIC it's light weight and easy yo use.
it does not bog my skin down or m=remind me that I am using it all day. It doesn't have a strong smell and can be used ALL over the Face neck and Chet.

My Thoughts: Now, I didn't grow up using sunscreen. Though I wish I had.... If I decide to have children they WILL> The sun is no joke. Most sunscreens are. Most sunscreen are NOT PHOTO STABLE. Which means; when the sun hits them, they begin to #FAIL... This one however has prove to be AMAZING. I have heard story after story of women who "didn't burn ONE bit" on there vacation... or who's kids used this at camp and didn't burn ALL summer.... ok.. so can black skin burn? YES it can.. it's just not as visible as when lighter skin does. This protects me when I'm hiking and I come home WITHOUT tan lines... Some people think they're cute.. I have not wore my natural hair OUT in a STYLE since I was probably about eleven or twelve. HONESTLY. I feel SO relieved so FRESH so new and I feel as though a weight has been lifted off my shoulders... maybe that weight is HAIR.

Sometimes I walk into a situation and AUTOMATICALLY feel as though I AM going to be judged. I WILL be the BUTT of the jokes... those people speaking that foreign language.. they're talking about ME!

It was all in my head... and to be honest I feel this way in wigs and in natural hair... so why not give my natural hair a go. WHat have I got to loose? INHIBITION I lost it. Natural hair... DON'T care and I HAVE NEVER felt better.

INITIAL REVIEW

I as I said above I am liking this hair. The length which is LONG I know... but that allows for versatility and cutting it up when it's old.

The color is great plus I added highlights... I can be bone straight... as well as hold a good curl!

It has had minimal shedding and has a nice hair line. It's a pretty dense wig however I wish it were MORE dense in the middle back ot the unit. I also wish this unit were on a stretch cap.... all in all 4/5 stars and not a bad price for the length!

How to do the MASTER CLEANSE + Ingredients

The Master Cleanse Lemonade

The lemonade is prepared by mixing the ingredients in this free recipe:

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice. Burroughs recommends organic lemons, fresh, not bottled juice. Limes may be substituted. Lemon zest and pulp may be added, making sure that the lemons are organic and not artificially colored or treated with pesticides.
2 tablespoons of maple syrup. This must be pure maple syrup, not pancake syrup. Burroughs recommends the darker Grade B, which has more color and nutrients than Grade A, which is also acceptable. He goes into aspects of maple syrup production that would be difficult for the average person to investigate, such as whether formaldehyde or plastic tubing is used (not recommended by Burroughs).
1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Burroughs insists that cayenne chili pepper be used, but permits ramping up from a lesser amount if the taste needs getting used to.
Water. Burroughs recommends a 10-ounce glass of medium hot water, but also allows cold water to be used. Some have interpreted “10-ounce glass” to mean 8 ounces of actual water. Since Burroughs also allows plain water to be drunk during the fast in addition to the lemonade, this doesn’t seem important.

How you Complete it

Days 1 through 10

In the morning before drinking any lemonade, drink a quart of salt water (remain near a toilet).
During the day drink 6 to 12 glasses of the Master Cleanse lemonade concoction. The lower number of 6 glasses is recommended for those seeking weight loss. The higher number is fine for those interested mostly in detoxification.
In the evening drink some herbal laxative tea.
You may experience dizziness, vomiting, joint pain, and weakness. You will also be really hungry. After several days many Master Cleanse dieters report entering a state of bliss that is either the result of the continuing elimination of toxins, or else a state similar to the tranquil experience that people who are starving to death have shortly before dying. <SCARY :)

On December 18, 2011, Breedlove released a 2-part video on YouTube, entitled "This is my story." Using note cards, he explained about his heart condition, as well as the impact it had on his life. He also mentioned three near-death experiences.^[6]

"I was at school, walking in the hall. I could tell I was going to faint, so I sat on a bench. I passed out. The next thing I know, I woke up with EMS around me. I couldn't talk or move, I could only watch what they were doing. They put the shock pads on my chest. I heard one of them say 'They are ready'. And the other guy said 'Go!'. I passed out again. My heart stopped and I wasn't breathing for 3 minutes."

Breedlove on the third time he "cheated death".^[7]

In the video, Breedlove describes the first time he "cheated" death, which was at the age of 4 when he had a life-threatening seizure.^[6] He goes on to describe an experience he had in a hospital while being wheeled on a stretcher, "There was this big bright light above me ... I couldn't make out what is was because it was so bright. I told my mom, 'Look at the bright light' and pointed up. She said she didn't see anything."^[2]^[4]^[7]

On May 3, 2009, Breedlove underwent surgery to insert a pacemaker.^[2] The pacemaker helped regulate his heart beat and gave him more energy.

Breedlove died from cardiac arrest on the night of Christmas Day at his parents' home where family and friends were gathering for Christmas dinner.^[4] Paramedics rushed him to the hospital but were unable to resuscitate him.^[2]
