100% NATURAL COIR FIBRE ROLLS used to break wave action, prevent soil loss on bottom of slopes and encourage vegetation growth.  ROLLS have a high strength outer Coir/Polypropylene net which is filled with densely compressed COIR FIBRE interior and has a slow decomposition rate.

The Coir Fibre is an excellent medium for plants & seedlings which are inserted into the Roll, through the openings in the outer netting.  The Sediments deposited in and around the Roll create an excellent environment for Plant Growth.  At the end of the biodegradable process, there will be a well developed root system in the shoreline and in the original ground which will successfully hold the soil in place.

Landscape & erosion control (ler) mats are made from brown lignified coir fibre. The fibre is extracted from coconut husks which are submerged in fresh water for a period of up to 10 months. During the process known as Retting , the water removes the impurities from the fibre.

The fibre is then spun into single ply yarn before being woven into LER MAT, CODE (LER). Alternatively, the fibre is inserted within Coir or Polypropylene U.V. stabilised netting for extra durability.

Natural fibre ler mat soil control matting is highly versatile and has vast applications in areas of soil control and bio-engineering. The Company manufactures 11/2" – 2" thick lightweight cement fibre panels from natural fibres. The panels are ideal for housing construction. They are non load bearing 4ft x 8ft panels, used for walling and partitioning in building construction.
