to my php script where I check the database to validate the login creds.
Then I want to set a cookie. I am having such a diffcult time doing this.
I was wondering if something could help me out.

On my online form, I have a place where the usr can write their name.

At the top of my php page, I have this function:

.. other code....but want to return value of $iNumber

in my html code:

and when I display my form, nothing is dispalyed in the OrderNum textbox.
