Lisa was returning from the park with the boys and I grabbed this shot of them all crossing the street in front of our house. It’s so great how well she’s gotten them to listen and cooperate about holding hands crossing the street and in parking lots.

One of our favorite non-local parks to take the boys to is North Canyon Park in Bountiful (I discovered it last year). It’s got lots of hills, a great playground, and paths through the trees that they love. We spent some time there today and, as usual, I brought my camera along.

My car had problems on the way to work this morning, so I found a shop within walking distance of my office. I HATE HATE HATE car problems, but at least I got some fun shots photowalking a few blocks back from the shop to my office.

The State Capitol is on the way home from where I usually take the boys for our “Dad’s Night Out” dinner and the sunset was looking nice, so we stopped to do a lap around the building to get the last of their energy out so they’d be ready for bed when we got home. This priceless photo came as they were “fishing” for “Big Red Gooey Fish” (from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) in the courtyard fountain.

Another sad day when a camera phone snap is all I’ve got.

My office is just a cement and sheetrock, so it echoes like mad. I’ve been slowly working on putting up some Ikea panel curtains to add some color and hopefully reduce the echo.

Yep, another sunset. I was running errands watching the sun set up to possibly make a very nice sunset, so when I got home I grabbed my camera bag and ran out the door to get to my favorite spot nearby with an unobstructed view. It didn’t turn out quite as well as I’d hoped (minimal under-lighting of the clouds) but I still like this colorful and moody shot.

I had the opportunity to go out and take some photos on my own today, so I went up to the U of U again to get some sunset shots that I missed out on the other day when I was there. I ended up hiking up the mountain a little ways just above the hospital to get a great view of the valley. I came away with a few great shots, and it was a good time just getting out hiking to get some photos.
