Jingle Bell Tag Freebie

A sweet little jingle bell gift!

You'll need

tags (available for download at the end of this post)

mason jar

twine

scissors

jingle bells (you can use bell chocolates, or anything bell related)

Fill up the jar with the bells and then cut the tags out. I used a scalloped scissors for a fun touch on the bottom of the tag. I also used eyelets for the hole punched area. I like to layer my gift tags but you can just use one.

Attach to the jar with twine. Easy!

Valentine Treat Packaging

I'm a sucker for cute packaging. You can check out lasts year post about packaging here. This year I found a few items at Fred Meyer, they are not necessarily "valentine" themed but I thought the colors were perfect!

I made a few easy treats including chocolate covered pretzels (my go to simple treat) and valentine M&M cookies. For the pretzels I have a tutorial posted HERE and for the cookies I just followed the Nestle Toll House recipe except I made them extra BIG.

The packaging I found at Fred Meyer - it's from American Greetings. The tags are from my shop Miss Design Girl- only $1.99 for a printable sheet. The ribbon is from Michaels.

How cute are these treats all wrapped up?! The pretzel boxes and cookie sleeves... heart eyes!

These would be perfect for teachers or for Valentine's Day parties.

North Pole Breakfast + Free Printables

A fun tradition that I started with my son several years ago was a North Pole Breakfast! It takes place on December 1st and our little Elfie shows up at the same time. We have powdered donuts and hot cocoa and there is usually a few candy treats and a small gift. This year I placed everything on my favorite bar cart. Lots of hot cocoa toppings!

In the past we've put together a gingerbread house but let's be honest...gingerbread houses are a pain. The icing takes forever to dry! This year instead Elfie brought a Lego Star Wars Advent calender and nobody missed the gingerbread house!

I created some fun printables to go with the breakfast and I'm including the download links for you to use.

DELICIOUS PECAN PIE BARS

I have a confession to make...I've never made a pecan pie. I love pecan pie, it's my favorite right after apple. This year I decided to give it a go but instead I wanted to make pecan pie bars. I headed to pinterest to find the perfect recipe.

After a little searching I found this recipe from Rock Recipes. It was really so easy and I only had to pick up dark corn syrup at the store, everything else I had on hand. They were so good! Honestly I can't rave enough on how good they were and easy! Even my son loved them and he's not a nut fan.

JINGLE BELLS FREEBIE

My boys and I love Christmas so that means the decorations are up...there's no shame in my Christmas game! Sorry not sorry Thanksgiving. I'm feeling festive and put together this super simple little jingle bell gift.

You'll need

Mummy Pretzels

Today is teacher conferences and I'm headed there armed with fun Halloween treats for my son's teacher. These are so easy and your kids can help you!

You'll need:

White Candy Melts

Candy Eyes

Pretzel Rods

Wax Paper

Twine

Bags

Cute Tag

1. Melt the candy melts according to the directions.

2. Dip your rods in the melted candy (I used a spoon to help cover the pretzel).

3. Place on wax paper and add candy eyes.

4. Once you're done dipping the pretzels drizzle the remaining candy melts over the pretzel rods to make the mummy bandages. I've seen this step done before adding the eyes, either way is cute!

5. Once they harden place in a cellophane bag and tie it off with twine and a tag. You can find the pretzel bags in the baking section at Michael's.
