The following came across my desk quite awhile ago but I just found it again, making me smile. For those over 50, you’ll probably identify with most. If you’re under 50, look what you have to look forward to! Source unknown.

1. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can’t remember them either.
2. In a hostage situation, you are likely to be released first.
3. No one expects you to run – anywhere.
4. People call at 9 PM and ask, “Did I wake you?”
5. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.
6. There is nothing left to learn – the hard way.
7. Things you buy now won’t wear out.
8. You can eat dinner at 4 P.M.
9. You enjoy hearing about other peoples operations.
10. You get into heated arguments about pension plans.
11. You have a party and the neighbors don’t even realize it.
12. You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge.
13. You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks into the room.
14. You sing along with elevator music.
15. Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off.
16. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service.
17. Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size.
18. You can look in the mirror and say, “God isn’t finished with me yet!”

SIGNS OF MENOPAUSE
3. You have to write post-it notes with your kids’ names on them.
4. You change your underwear after every sneeze.

SIGNS OF “OLD” IS WHEN…..
- Your sweetie says, “Let’s go upstairs and make whoppie” and you answer, “Pick one, I can’t do both!”
- Your friends compliment you on your new alligator shoes and you’re barefoot.
- A hunk catches your fancy and your pacemaker opens the garage door.
- Going bra-less pulls all the wrinkles out of your face.
- You are cautioned to slow down by the doctor instead of by the police.
- ”Getting a little action” means I don’t need to take my fiber today.
- An “all-nighter” means not getting up to go to the bathroom!

No matter your age, DON’T GIVE IN. DON’T GIVE UP. DON’T TAKE “NO” FOR AN ANSWER! And, most definitely, never settle for mediocrity!!! GOD DESIRES FELLOWSHIP WITH US through every season of life! Now, that’s something to make us smile!!!

In his opening address to his evil angels, he said, ‘We can’t keep the Christians from going to church. We can’t keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth. However, if they gain that connection of forming an intimate, abiding relationship experience with Jesus, our power over them is broken. So let them go to their churches, let them have their conservative lifestyles, but steal their time so they can’t gain that relationship with Jesus Christ. This is what I want you to do, angels. Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!’”

Take the time to READ THE FULL ARTICLE here. If you do, pray that God will open your eyes and move in your life, by the power of His Holy Spirit, to transform every area of your life (as only He can) so it will most glorify Him!

His word says that “when two or three are gathered in My name, there I will be also.” Matthew 18:20 We may not be together physically, but we can be together spiritually and in one mind and of one accord.

To be honest, I don’t know if all are believers, so that might be a prayer request, in and of itself. According to God’s will, please pray that not even one would leave this earth until God has done everything in His power to bring him / her to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ AND give each the activated, transforming faith to receive Christ into their hearts. And pray, of course, as the Holy Spirit leads you. Then, let’s not forget to praise God for the way He will work in each of these individual’s lives to bring about His healing and ultimate purpose. We thank you and am certain each one of these precious people will thank you in eternity, too. God bless you!
