HEY !!!!

I miss this blog and the readers lol So everything have calmed down and I have a picture of me drinking my daily NYC coffee. I so have to move back I get 4 sugars lol well scoops and its heaven! I have mastered finally drinking it with out burning my tongue but not with out spilling it lol. So use a baby wipe to clean it up and it will dry and disappear. Yes it works I live by it lol. Anyway I loved it and I can taste it now lol. So how have your coffee adventures been? I needed the break to get me through the year I tell you they are right that the color brown do help with a bad mood and such. Have a sip and see what I mean lol well I am in a seminar I better get back lol xoxoxox

Rainy Afternoon.

How are you today? I am okay ugh I have a bad case of mega Monday blues and its so bad I just decided to do this blog so that coffee will make me feel better. Better yet I am going to make some and then go out and get some that has been made for me. I know genius. Speaking of which I didnt know how much I like coffee. I am serious about it. They know me everywhere I go. Since im still down south this starbux know everyone who comes in. They know me because I am the only one who consistently orders my drink. I know you wonder whats in my drink and what its called. So I am going to break it down for you. Maybe he will read it and know how to say it lol. He spoke up for me a few weeks ago when they asked me did I want it the regular way which is with whole or 2% milk I get 2% and he said no lol When I have money on my gold Starbux card I get soy because its free. So he was right (he was paying shhhh lol) it was a little abrupt then i saw he cared im like dude be calm and collected about it this isnt well...........I cant think of a word. Okay im rambling on that is a dead indicator im bored. Alright here is the run down on my drink.

Its named a few different things. When it debuted in 2007 when I was working 2 jobs one was a day care that had a starbucks right up the street, and the other I contracted and the starbucks was right there next door. They had it named "starbucks double shot on ice" it was later shorten to "starbucks double shot. " It discontined , I guess it was just for that summer, but it stuck with me. I was tired and didnt like the frapps anyway.

Starbuck Double Shot ( grande)

4 shots of espresso
3 maybe 4 pumps of classic syrup
Ice
Shaken
Chioce of milk ( it comes with whole or 2%but I like soy its better on my lactose intolerant stomach)

What I am running into now is that there isnt a button for the drink so they charge me crazy. I was told it is an americano with an extra shot. Im like thats fine but folks here charge for it all. the syrup which comes with it and the shot so its like almost 4 dollars at time for a grande, so I use my card and those charges of the extra things come off and its the right price about $2.60-2.80 and thats different states with tax. In DC and MD I have no problem , even Northern Virginia. (most places) Where I used to work ( and starting back soon) knows me and other people order that too!!!! so they do it right. Thats who told me. Even when I email starbux they say the same. I wish they would tell everyone that!!

With that said, whats your fav type of coffee? Can you break it down to the tee even the price? I would like to hear.

Hey

So im done getting everything outta my grandparents home as far as stuff theres only furniture left! So my job is done and i felt and feel accomplished, 39 big bags to carry to the dump was hard. Im glad the last few I got help with, now I can lay here waiting to leave in the following weeks away from here, but on a brighter note, while im here in southern va i go get coffee everyday! I decided last night to sit and do all my hw due today so I wont be stressing this weekend I can chill. So I got my espresso on ice w/soy and a gentleman was leaving and said to take his spot its roomy since i had my laptop and bags and school book. I nodded i was happy to relax i was cleaning that house also yesterday. It was late evening and i wanted something sweet, I got a cranberry bliss bar and omg it was heaven no wonder why u can buy it in trays I am before it leaves. A tray for me because i ate it so blissfully everything stood still and i got those papers done, now thats worth blogging about.

Happy Friday and have a blissful time every once in a while, you will want it more often.

How are you? I went out for coffee with my family today , well two of them lol since a lot has happened over the last two weeks I wasnt able to have the new years plans as I wanted. Its fine cus my friend is calling me and making me feel better. Im not in DC atm dealing with clean up over here and its kinda upsetting i couldnt spend new years the way and who i wanted it to be with. So I had a big cup of starbux and that was to bring in the years. My thing next year is as always drink more coffee and more and love coffee forever!!!! To share coffee forever and ever to everyone. Hey everyone!

Ive been busy but I have a post for you, then I have a make up one........sheesh I tell you I cant wait to get a little bit more organized , maybe my graduation gift to myself will help......So anyway, I was out this weekend. I stayed at *** and it was so nice. There was a starbux right there and a movie theater. I was so happy when my friend took me to see the muppets!! I cant thank him enough, it made my year you have no idea!. Even he enjoyed it, I didnt know how he would because he wasnt familiar with them, but he cant stop talking about it. Hes so cute. lol He says that im miss piggy all the way lol. Flower Power Via Barnes and Nobles

I was backin up my blackberry and ran across theses pic and forgot that this was part of a blog i wanted to put lol. Yes its from this summer. I spent the day in Georgetown and was at Barnes and Nobles. I sat on a coffee date with a friend just taking in the stores that I wanted to go to. He said he needed coffee to keep up with me then we were off! I ran like no tomoro and he didnt lag behind once. He enjoyed himself and said that he doesnt know how I am not hyped with I have coffee. I just shrugged maybe im used to it.What about you? are you used to coffee? Hey everyone!

Long time no post. So as you know this blog is bi weekly so I think I owe you two blogs this week....yay lol as you can see I have the case of the Mondays. I have a bad case at that. So every other Monday to make sure I get to you bi weekly, I will post "The case of the Mondays'" then another blog then that will help me learn how to keep up with life and this blog. My other blog is fine. But this one is special I need to treat it this way. I will list things that has me in such a bad mood, and coffee will be related. I know i've gotta be good to mix the two, lol with out further ado ...

Case 1: Life confusions and broken and not broken coffee cups

I am having a hard time dealing with the opposite sex decisions on things. Its like having a cafe au lait w/o the lait (milk in French)
I am ready for a change, but it seems its not going so great.
I love coffee cups, I have a collection but one broke in pieces, I will have to fix it.
One is a Hello Kitty cup that I got on sale at the Sanrio store.
The other is a gift from my sis n law for house sitting for her . You can see where she went via the cup.
I haven't had my coffee today, I am fixing that problem now.
I want a cool government job. Hold on a semi perm one.
Im seeing that I give too much and theres no giving back. That will stop...TODAY.
Im having a bad hair week. One week in a half to go then ill fix that also. I need a lot of coffee to fix this problem and yoga yes yoga and happy hours and Korean pancakes.

New Coffee Take

Hello

How are you? Well todays blog is on a new take on a coffeehouse visit. so this morning I had a last min ask to watch my nephew for a little bit. I was just gettin up, and tired from up all night of working on things im still not done on! I was determined to get coffee, I said alright and headed down to meet her . She gave me him and his car seat and we headed out. Hes the youngest out of all of my nieces and nephews and I tell you a 1 year old running around in starbux down here where im located isnt likely. Up where I live yeah its everywhere. But i think it was funny for them and they were very amused. He was very good. I asked him did he want juice or milk he told me milk and handed me his cup. so, he had organic milk and a sandwich. He jumped up and down on the couch and I happened to snap a pic, lmao its like blurry because he laughed when i held my phone up. Oh, I am now just drinking my drink I ordered. Didnt have time! Hes sleep I am catching up on work. Thank You internet.

Hey coffeeites!

This blog is so self explanatory. But lets get more into it. While im visiting down here. Im happy that i can get a cup of coffee. ( though i travel with my own i mix it) So I see that they love coffee but mild coffee or just the regular blend that I drink like soda. (as im doing now) I get no jolt nor do i realize i had coffee. So lets rewind.........I have a confession: im a bias coffee drinker. *shrugs* at least theres coffee. All I need is hot water ya noe? maybe some coffee creamer. To b honest ive been on the black coffee drinking thing because in order to get the full flavor of "weak" coffee I have to drink it black. with sugar or none. Until another coffee inclined blog( and i find another starbucks which is 30 min away.) Enjoy humbling down with a nice cup of blah coffee.

Hey all

I noe ive been gone. Long story, and long time no see. So I have a blog for you about coffee and cheese. Yes i am serious. As every year, I go with my niece to her grandmothers house and I have coffee. I love it! this time I had a cheese sandwich,. Not what you are thinking, nice cheese from Ecuador. it was sooo good. and with the coffee made it even better. I have the picture, if I get to get the cheese when i go back next time, then Ill let you know it was simply wonderful.

It was very bold, yet milky, it makes me want to go get some cheese now. I will do so with in the next hour lol . I love it! woo. so anyway. Try to mix up some different flavors with the different type of coffee that you may try to drink, then elt me know what your favorite is.

Hi coffee goers

So this is my last blog via southern va. I can tell u i didnt have fun one bit , except meeting up with people and going to starbucks. I think that starbucks have their similarities but you can tell by the people and the atmosphere. I have to say I got one of a kind pics and they were yet again amazed when I ask to take a pic of their stuff in their store for my blog. I have to say different strokes for different folks.

I have learned also that sometimes things happen for a reason, but when its time to go its just simply that time. I sat inhaling coffee just thinking how happy ill be , back to the same ball n chain, because some things that you seem not to want or dont think you need, you do. As soon as everyone learns this they wont have hard lessons.

That was my coffee enlightening yesterday. Next post will be back up north (hopefully) until then, sip some coffee and find comfort with in yourself. coffee is the ultimate comfort drink.

Hey all

I so didnt forget about my fav blog ever! so I owe two post. But im in the middle of moving so I noe if tis not one thing its another with me! But I promised you a bi weekly update so im up here for real and indeed I shall. This blog is about last weeks outing with a friend of mine. He was determined to get me coffee and we did at a Mexican resurant ! I noe right. lol omi gosh it was nice, and fun . A decent cup of coffee among a just conversation made my saturday rock and I was ready to do it all over again by the end of the night. Things like walking and see the sites , and eating three different times made me feel great. I have to say it started with coffee and ended with an array of sites, sounds, and lessons learned. I cant wait to get back up north you noe?

Share a cup of coffee, a laugh, and maybe a cry, a commitment and most of all do it with someone you can tell the world to and they will keep it all in their heart.

Hey all!

Im back from a long ordeal but im ready to get back to this blogging. This blog post is about some things I just ran across as I was dealing with my lost.

1. The starbux im going to (well one of them) while im down here has a cat welll they have three one of them looks like my boy brat aybo, the cute kitty name : Hummus. lol

2. They are going back to writing your name on your cup. You know the other starbux i go to does that makes you feel sorta important...(I think)

3. Dont judge a coffee drinker by their appearance. I tell you some of the most in some peoples eyes not known people drink coffee and know about you.

4. I wanna take the time out to thank my auntie (RIP) for giving me coffee and until last week supporting my habit lmao. coffee habit that is

5. The higher the price of the coffee machine is the better the coffee taste.

Im rushing to do this because its almost midnight! Anyway, happy earth day . I mean I do everything for earth day everyday but i feel like people should of been realized that our environmental resources are used too much. Side Statbux

Hey all!

It has stop raining for a bit and the sun is peeking out for it to be pushed back in again by the clouds, it shall rain again! okay folks todays blog is on the statbux that you see other places besides their own branch then u end up going to the regular one because u finished it in the store. I was out getting some last min things in target! I had three things in mind end up getting six things! I know but i end up needing them so no complain lol

So I go to starbux when I come in, and I was happy! I had my drink and sipped and shopped I think thats what happened on me really buying things and that really brought out the rationalness. I shopped hard and compared prices.It was so intoxicated with coffee I got another one when i left at the outside starbux and just sat there. I think its a way to make extra money. They r in super markets and also other stores and the malls . I think thats a great idea. At times u are not close to one and you want a drink. So I just pushed the cart and picked up everything that interested me, until i got to the cash register and started dividing. Thank you "side starbux"

A change of pace but not coffee

Hey all! this blog is about short or long term changes. Also how u can keep your routine with just a little adjustment.

Little things like this sparks a conversation out the ordinary. Like the pic?
I took it of course with very nice permission from the baristia.You can see I was in starbux. I think she could see that im not from around here. She was very interested in me. Every time I go in there she talks to me.Made me think on how hard it is to adapt to something you dont want but you know you have to, or for the time being. Time to pout....* squints eyes *

But as I promised that I would keep these updated and im tryin so hard to find pics, its hard b/c of the whole new environment and of course change.

It is like different types of coffee. You go from a slow pressed french vanilla chai to a hard pressed Columbia or in this case Ethiopian blend. If you are versicle you can take the situation( though u r not happy wit it) and change it to something to fit your lifestyle. It may not be the best its better than not having coffee at all. Thats how I see some things in life you hope for it to blow over until then you gotta keep busy.

So I say to you to end this. Open you mind and heart to new positive things oh and of course coffee textures. Losing coffee senses is a terrible thing to waste.

Afternoon all .

On this not so just day, I have a blog for u! I have to share some stuff i saw on accident two days ago. I am on another leave? as you say so im in another state. So, instead of being mad and overwhelmed, i decided to find a bliss chance when i can. it just started, i hope it isnt for long. So i was up and out 5am and im not much of a tv watcher but it was on. i glanced at it and it was Dr. Oz im guessing his show or watever. hes really kool, again im just not a tv person. So anyway, he had this test about coffee. and I got it all correct. I knew if i was there I would of won the free coffee maker like they did. it was the expensive ones.

So the discussion was about how coffee is healthy for you. I know I am stuck on this because people just dont wanna admit that im right oh and its true. Its not from me folks its strait from a doctor . So this is what it was saying the first question was which of the two where good for u ?A metal filter or a paper filter. I was like paper. Yes i was right. see theres something in coffee that we dont need and that kind of filter takes it out. Plus it can lower your cholesterol just as this next question.

Which type coffee is good for lowing cholesterol? is it coffee or decaf coffee. I said regular and i was right again. the rest of the things we do need in coffee. Very good i think. which brings me to the last question which made my day. which coffee is good for your skin? dark roast or light roast. I said dark and i was right. see dark roast is what they do when they roast the coffee for a long amount of time vs the light roast. it can help against aging.

Hey all!

I am so sorry I think im two blogs behind in this, so I am determined to get this done. So much is going on and I just feel like blah at the end of every thing. Then while drinking sparkling water, thought of a perfect blog! This is one of the many side blogs over shadowing the coffeehouse madness that I have created. This blog is about the elements of coffee in your body.

Many tell me that coffee is bad for you, then I hear no its good for you. I am here to tell you , coffee and alcohol are more healthy for women than for men to consume. I think thats awesome. At times I kick myself that i am a girl but then I look at facts like this wit my cup of coffee and smile. Its a beautiful thing. lol Yes I know I will get the whole " no it isnt " ha ha Moving on....

I was also told to make sure you drink as much water as you do coffee, because like other types of caffeine, it makes you dehydrated, I have to admit its so hard to do that since I am not a fan of water. But then I realized that I like sparkling water, seltzer water, flavored water and tonic water. So that seems to be the perfect remedy for me.

So in all, its wat you make of coffee. Coffee to me is like a bf, there are so many to chose from , but its what time and effort, ( in coffee case stuff you add in it) that makes it worth your wild. Unlike bf you can have a great tasting cup of coffee every morning and be able to take on the day, so on and so forth, I cant really say that about the compared thing......

omg im blah lol but look at my pic! thanks to my friend *smiles* (thanks hunny) I got to take this pic yesterday during a well needed coffee break.I watched the man make the leaf on my macchiato. I was having a not so good day but this soo made up for me. and I got some coffee to go and had it this afternoon well late morning.

Hum....so this blog is about passing thoughts, when you drink coffee do u have some type of mini vacation?

Im the type who loses oneself in a cup. I have not much to be very excited about so i look forward to new things.

Hiyeee!!!

How are my very coffee inclined friends doing? I am happy to be able to post twice in a week! this will not be so much about coffee its more of a basis of our relationship.

I just wanna say thanks so much for puttin up with my non blogging days,my long drawn out post or my plan rants! I hope year 3 will b just as great! I want u to have a cup of coffee tonite b4 u go out, party and do your thing (i am) and just go through the yr and just say " alright 2011 lets do this!"dont go about those promises u cant keep like everyone eles.

Go drink coffee that sounds nasty ( like that peppermint mocha) and if it is actually indeed nasty as u imagine it , b happy u got a tall and can give it back to the Barista and apologize but u hate the drink. (laughs evilly) or b like me get someone to buy it for u or you talk them into letting your tast theirs so u can talk junk if u dont like it!.

Also add one more coffeehouse hang out to ur list. so when one fails all will come through. and throw at least one "coffee confessional party" i want to do that this year. say a prayer and wish for the best for forever to come.

Snowfull evening to all!!!!

Omg I feel so bad! I havent got to post so i owe u one more this week and I will be up to par. Most of it was the weather, (snowy snowy) and also me not feeling well. But I must say im going through so much so close to new years! I so feel as if i am growing up even more than I am. All of these plans and such is the basis of this blog. I had a talk with a friend, that I feel has their head soo well above their shoulders!

They wanna live my city filled dreams and I feel that they can do it! its just a little planning and at the right moment.....it will fall into place. So it is fine. They just needed someone to point them in the right direction . I did as much as i could over happy over. Sitting with our drinks. wonderful white wine and I had a drink they called " elf helper" which has coffee liquor and other things in it! ( im so getting my friend that one next time) so yes, yes it was wonderful, i felt like i was giving a very gifted person a gift of a life time. They will be happy even if they cant do exactly whats in mind.

I feel at the end, a conversation over coffee made me think , where is my life taking me? I cant see my life changing too much over a cup of coffee... *sighs* but i gotta say it made me think.

Conversations over coffee, even if its half coffee and liquor its a tell all when you have enough in your system you seem to have things all planned at....
