It was an excellent effort by the UKEC to host such a programme. There were graduate talks, human rights talk and political talk.

Never lose faith in why you do something. Prior to doing my PhD research i was very motivated on trying to change the world through my research. Of course deep in my mind i understood that a research is just a small bump in the vast universe of knowledge. However, i never realised how important it is to stay motivated
