A big congrats to EARS, who was nominated and has WON the SMAC of the year for BEST ARTIST.

Daniel O’Toole, better known as Ears, has made a name for himself as a street artist, exhibiting in pubs, at live art shows, and through commissioned murals around Sydney. His style reflects this street background, throwing in an art school education to form a nifty nexus between the graphic focus of a street artist and a formalism that belies his anti-institutional bio.

Jonathan Calugi x COLAB – Italy

Jonathan Calugi’s collaboration with COLAB has been featured in Computer Arts Magazine….

Calugi, with his “intricate loops and geometric shapes that wiggle gleefully through much of his work… was forced in a different artistic direction…. he drew upon the glamorous dream-world of Fellini’s 1963 film 8 and 1/2 for his design”

On his Colabs – aptly named 8 1/2 – Calugi says: “this is not just a piece of art – it’s a real life object… in this case you realise that less is more”.
