Liam participated in his first Pinewood Derby last weekend. His car, the 007 didn't have quite the speed it needed, but it got the ribbon for the "coolest" car. Jim helped Liam with the design.

It was fun to put the 007 next to Jim's old car that his dad helped him with when he was Liam's age.

Summer began with Liam, Meghan and Ryan having end of the school year events. Liam's class went on a clam dig at Jackson's Beach. Meghan's class went to John's Island for a weekend and Ryan joined his friends in bonfire/guitar playing fun. It's going to be a great summer for the kids. We are excited for Jim's family to visit at the end of July and various activities throughout the 3 months.

To celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary, Jim and Cathy enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Vinny's and then sauntered over to the San Juan Community Theater to see My Fair Lady with Desi Whalen as Eliza Doolittle. Desi wowed the audience with a performance that was out of this world. She's come a long way from her character of Moose the Mouse beside Ryan as Ed the Mouse in the Middle School Play
