I noticed that there was a rather dashy blonde in another check-out line.

Our eyes met, she raised her hand to wave, and smiled a "Hello" to me. I was rather taken aback that such a looker would be waving and, although she looked familiar; I couldn't place where I might know her from.

As luck would have it, I saw her a few minutes later in the parking lot as she was loading her groceries, so I approached her and said, "Sorry, do you know me?"

She replied, "I may be mistaken, but I think you might be the father of one of my kids."

I was rather panicked, but my mind shot back to my one and only sexual indiscretion.

"Holy crap," I exclaimed (much too loudly), "Are you that stripper from my bachelor party that I screwed on the pool table in front of all my friends, while your girlfriend whipped me with wet celery and stuck a cucumber up my butt?"

She looked up, smiled and replied, "No... I'm your son's English teacher."

Since all of us have ATM card(s), I would like to share this important news. My friend saw a man at Novena MRT ATM trying to get all the receipts out of the ATM bin.

Please read the following message from a friend of mine, it's true. Please be careful, it is not a joke....

Be careful when u draw cash from ATM with receipt complete with your account number.

Please never throw the ATM receipt in the public bin even if u used to tear it into small pieces before throwing it away.

Today, just got a call from my sister that she had lost all her cash from her account. She threw the receipt into the bin provided at ATM recently.

Luckily, she only has $633/= in her account.

Not much of suspicious when she was left with $11/= because she thought it was her petrol GIRO payment, however, that is not true.. She only got to know it when the petrol company, Mobil cut-off the petrol card's transaction when she realized something is wrong.

After checking with the bank, she was told that now there is this syndicate who will pick up the ATM receipt & with their IT expert, they are able to draw out your money.

The bank will not be able to trace where these people had drawn the money & how they do it, don't ask me, even the bank can't answer it.

They can only advise you to report the case to the police for investigation.

Card Holders Please Read

Just received an email, I think that I should share with you all.

The story is as following:

This is the true experience of my colleague and myself during last Saturday. We went to a restaurant during tea time, consumed roughly only dozens of dollars, she used his credit card to swap the payment. But when she was signing the printed receipt, she felt those receipts were much thicker than it used to be. Then she looked more onto it and found that there was another different receipt below of the one she was signing while the amount is several hundred dollars (the waiter deliberately used stapler to set two receipt together).

Should be aware that the receipts are all single-Carbonless Paper, and she just need to sign the toppest receipt, those below will automatically printed her signature. Even if fraud was found after that, we will never can find a reason to argue because it is autographed by our own signture. How terrible it is! Fortunately, my colleague found out that earlier. My colleague was stern and asked the waiter that why there was another receipt that not belong to her while that receipt was printed her card number as well. The waiter was nervous and teared off that receipt immediately while explaining that probably is cashier mistake to swap wrong card.

But let us think more about it, even if they swapped wrongly, it should be the same amount, why there were two different amount with same card number? And they will have what benefit throughout this?

Later, we came to understand that they have such a operation: There are many customers want to pay to hotels while oftenly, that is at the same time when few tables want to settle bill. While some tables are settle using cash term, and then those staffs would use others' credit card to swap those cash term amount. If there was nobody discovered and signed few different amount receipt at the same time, those "running cash" will then surely fall into the waiter's pocket. Even if we report to police so, as that is the receipt we signed, they can just simply deny that they don't know anything about it.

So, beware when you are swapping the credit card, be sure to check your own swapped amount and receipt.

Hope this is not too late to those who need to visit the hospital .
Just something to keep in mind...........

This mail was actually forwarded by a nurse in the Critical Care Unit of a local private hospital. Just turn off our phone next time when you are in the hospital. The person being affected may just be someone you love. When you enter a hospital, do look out for signs that say, "NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED". You might not realize what unfortunate things can happen due to your negligence. Be considerate!

A 4 year-old girl was admitted due to leg fracture. As it was an open fracture, she had to undergo an operation to stitch the protruding bone back in place. The girl was hooked onto a life support system during the operation. The doctors input data into the life support system before she began the surgery. The operation went well until all in a sudden the life support system went dead.

It was found out that an idiot was using his/her hand phone outside the operation Theatre. The frequency had actually affected the system. They tried to track the fellow but to no avail. The little girl, young and innocent as she was, died soon after due to the failure of the life support system.

Message : Be considerate. Do not use your hand phone at any hospital or places where you're told not to use it. You might not be caught in the act, but you might have killed someone without knowing it! Please pass this on to as many people as possible!

A father passing by his teenage daughter's bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was neat and tidy.

Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the centre of the pillow. It was addressed 'Dad'. With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:-

Dear Dad ,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you, but I'm leaving home. I had to elope with my new boyfriend Randy because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you.

I've been finding real passion with Randy and he is so nice to me. I know when you meet him you'll like him too - even with all his piercing, tattoos, and motorcycle clothes. But it's not only the passion Dad, I'm pregnant and Randy said that he wants me to have the kid and that we can be very happy together.

Even though Randy is much older than me ( anyway, 42 isn't so old these days is it? ), and has no money, really these things shouldn't stand in the way of our relationship, don't you agree?

Randy has a great CD collection; he already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. It's true he has other girlfriends as well but I know he'll be faithful to me in his own way. He wants to have many more children with me and that's now one of my dreams too.

Randy taught me that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone and he'll be growing it for us and we'll trade it with our friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Randy can get better; he sure deserves it!!

Don't worry Dad , I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

A lawyer and an Italian are sitting next to each other on a long flight. The lawyer is thinking that Italians are so dumb that he could get over on them easy...

So the lawyer asks if the Italian would like to play a fun game.

The Italian is tired and just wants to take a nap, so he politely declines and tries to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists, and says that the game is a lot of fun. I ask

you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me only $5; you ask me one, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500, he says. This catches the Italians attention and to keep the lawyer quiet, he agrees to play the game.

The lawyer asks the first question. 'What's the distance from The Earth to the Moon?'

The Italian doesn't say a word, reaches in his pocket pulls out a five-dollar bill, and hands it to the lawyer.

Now, it's the Italian's turn. He asks the lawyer, 'What goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?' The lawyer uses his laptop and searches all references he could find on the Net. He sends e-mails to all the smart friends he knows, all to no avail. After one hour of searching he finally gives up. He wakes up the Italian and

hands him $500. The Italian pockets the $500 and goes right back to sleep.

The lawyer is going nuts not knowing the answer. He wakes the Italian up and asks, 'Well, so what goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four?'

The Italian reaches in his pocket, hands the lawyer $5 and goes back to sleep.

9 WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) FINE: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
