Description:
poor entire handle of vodka into a large cooler, then poor entire "30" of beers into cooler, then add entire 12 pack of red bull into same cooler, Lemonade powder works better but start pouring lemonade mix/juice in while stirring.. continually taste so its not to sweet. Drink and enjoy. SHould not be any taste of alcohol if done correctly. Makes about 5-6 gallons

We haven't made too many updates to the site since June of 2006 because we've been extremely busy trying to get through coursework and do other projects. Now that we're going to have more time to spend working with the site, it's time to let us know what new features you'd like or new ways we can improve the site.

We have a few ideas we're working with, but the more information you give us the better! Use the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page (or by clicking here) to send us your suggestions. It doesn't matter how big or how small your ideas are... we want to hear them all!

Rating system now available for all photos!

We're proud to announce a new rating system for the photos everyone submits to the site. Now you can go through and rate the photos on a scale of 1-10 (Fugly - Hot).

Several people had suggested adding a feature similar to this so they could look at random photos and have the ability to rate them all in one place. You can find the new photo rating system by clicking here.

Forums, Photos, Friends....

The newly created Community section is a way for you to keep in touch with all the members of the site. You now have easy access to the photo galleries, forums and member profiles all at one place.

The forums have been improved to be easier to use and also load faster and look nicer. The profile system has also been given an overhaul so it will be better to use.

If you haven't uploaded any photos to the site, just log in and start uploading now. You can share these photos with friends so they can see your drunken escapades while away at school.

Also, if your friends don't know about the site yet, tell them about it and have them join up so you can become "Bar Buddies" with each other on the site. Being Bar Buddies lets you create event invites for going out to the bars, bar crawls, birthday parties, and anything else you can think of. You can also keep track of your buddies photos easily.

If you can think of ways that would make searching for drinks easier and/or better, please let us know. You can use the Contact Us form to tell us what you think.

In addition to letting us know of any new features you would like to see, please keep adding new drink recipes to the site. We're always looking to keep our database up to date and you all are the ones who help keep it that way.

Be sure to check out the new profile system. The new profiles now show the users favorite bars as well as the ingredients and drinks they can make with their "My Bar."

Keep adding those bars to the site!

Thanks to everyone who has been submitting bars to the site. It's hard to keep up with all the bars on every campus across the United States. If you see that we're missing a bar at your campus or we have a bar listed that's no longer in service, let us know.

Also, keep those comments, ratings, and favorites pouring in. The more of those we have, the better the site will be for people who come by looking for information about the bars.

If you want to add a new bar to the site, you can use the Add a Bar form and submit it for us. Once you do that, it'll sit in a holding bay where an administrator will look over the information and make sure it's valid. If everything checks out, we'll add the bar to the site.

Out with the Old. In with the New.

CollegeBarScene has been around for a little over 2 years now and during that time the layout has been pretty much the same. For a while now, we've been wanting to give the site some major upgrades with both the code and the layout. I've had the majority of the code and layout finished for quite a while now, but due to a few other projects that came up, the release of the site got pushed back.

Now that has all changed. The site has been given a fresh new look, the navigation structure has been improved, usability has been enhanced and the site is now focused more around you, the user.

Random photos that our members have uploaded now appear on the side bar of every page (minus the forums). The Top Bars and Drinks now appear throughout all the pages. If you are viewing a bar, it will show you the top 5 bars in that area, not just for the entire site.

Take a look around the site and see what else we've added. We also have several more things planned for the future that will help keep CollegeBarScene.com the #1 Resource for College Bars and Drinks.
