					<title><![CDATA[High School Program Coordinator ]]></title>
					<description><![CDATA[We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy, idealistic leader to join our successful, growing organization as part of our program leadership team.  The Program Coordinator helps coordinate College Possible programs within the Omaha schools by supervising, training and supporting 5-8 AmeriCorps Members.Supervise, Train and Support AmeriCorps Members:  Duties include providing daily support,guidance, and oversight to Corps members to ensure excellence in service, troubleshootingproblems and issues as they arise, evaluating performance and gatheringfeedback through check-ins and session observations, and working in partnershipwith other staff to ensure the highest quality of service to students, sites,and Corps members.  The ProgramCoordinator will help coordinate, prepare for, and lead trainings and weeklymeetings for AmeriCorps members, evaluate trainings, and summarize allinformation for future reference.Ensure Program Quality and Curriculum Fidelity:Oversee the implementation of curriculum for both the Junior and Senior years,including ACT/SAT preparatorylessons and worksheets, financial aid workshops, essay writing lessons,etc.  This staff member will ensure thatneeded resources are in place to support the program and may identify, request,and obtain course books, Corps development materials, testing materials orother miscellaneous resources as needed. He/she will also help identify appropriate timelines for both junior andsenior work, making sure the program adheres to such timelines.  The Program Coordinator will help ensure thatstudents are informed about and encouraged to participate in other activitiesoutside of regular classroom sessions, such as college visits, practice ACTexams, summer enrichment opportunities, and program-wide events, and will helpto coordinate those events as assigned. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for helping to maintainthe record of results and report on ACT score increases, summer enrichmentapplications, campus visits, college applications submitted, admittance tocollege, and financial aid.  Develop and Maintain High School Relationships: Workto build and maintain successful relationships with assigned high schools bycoordinating service delivery to sites on an ongoing basis and maintainingcommunication with key contacts at each school. Meet with school administrators, counselors, and key contacts monthly throughoutthe year to ensure program quality and successful communication.  Distribute quarterly program updates, attendschool outreach events (i.e. parent teacher conferences and open houses), andestablish successful communication as the organization's lead ambassador toassigned high schools.Evaluate, Track and Report on Progress:  Assist the Program Manager in the weeklytracking, evaluation and reporting of College Possible student progress in allmajor program areas, and the identification and recruitment of students andAmeriCorps members for Admission Possible public education activities.  The Program Coordinator will assume some ofthe responsibilities pertinent to AmeriCorps Program Directors, including themaintenance of member files and web reporting of member hours.  Position requires knowledge of specificAmeriCorps guidelines, making sure all aspects of the program consistentlyadhere to such guidelines.Recruit Program Participants and Staff:  Workwith program team to recruit and select students and AmeriCorps Members for thecoming program year.  This may include calling,e-mailing, and posting announcements, holding information sessions, andanswering applicant questions. 					<description><![CDATA[Job Title:  Executive Director                                  Location: Omaha, NEReports to:    Chief Advancement Officer, National OfficeCollege Possible is seeking an Executive Director to lead our organization's continued expansion into Omaha, NE.I. Job SummaryThe Executive Director is responsible for the overall operations of the Omaha College Possible site. The Executive Director serves as the external face of College Possible to the local community and the various stakeholders of College Possible. The Executive Director will lead all fundraising activities, community outreach efforts and support a Local Advisory Board. Additionally, the Executive Director is the general manager for the site overseeing operations.As a single 501(c)(3) organization, this Executive Director will be based in our Omaha office and will work with the centralized national support team to be an active part of the senior leadership team for the organization.   II. Primary ResponsibilitiesA. Overall Site Management: Serves as the leader of the Omaha office. Provides overall management of the organization and directly supervises the Development Officer, Program Manager, and the External Relations & Operations Coordinator. Works in close collaboration with the Local Advisory Board to develop a strategic plan for the site, and to maintain community relations, determine programmatic direction, identify potential supporters, and ensure program satisfaction. Instills and develops the organizational culture, one of the key components to our success as an organization.B.  Fundraising & Donor Development: Identifies and implements funding strategies to raise adequate budget support for the site. In collaboration with national leadership, develops and employs strategies to solicit donors. Enhances relationships with known supporters and cultivates relationships with new donors, including foundation and corporate contacts, as well as building a solid individual donor base. Leads the grant-writing efforts and schedules and attends meetings with key foundation and individual contacts.C.  Program Development: Oversees the work of the Program Manager to develop and implement the College Possible program in the local service area. With support from the National program team, maintains and enhances the standard for College Possible, both internally and externally, while ensuring fidelity to our program model and achieving key metrics. Ensures appropriate evaluation of program efforts.D.  Marketing & Communications: Helps to establish the College Possible brand identity in the community by overseeing marketing and communications efforts. Serves as the organization's main spokesperson in the community and provides strategic direction for special events and media efforts.E. General Site Operations: Provides active site leadership in all operational areas including: human resources, information technology, facilities management, purchasing, budgeting, and finance/accounting, by working collaboratively with national operations staff in support of these functions. Directs the work of the local External Relations & Operations Coordinator and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and College Possible policies and standards.III. Skills and Qualifications:In addition to the requirements below, College Possible seeks to hire staff and service members who demonstrate the traits of an idealistic leader as expressed in our organizational value statement and individuals that have a significant commitment to the mission of helping low-income students earn admission to college and persist toward degree completion.  Bachelor's degree in related field; master's degree preferred;Five or more years successful senior management experience,      including, but not limited to, success in creating and enhancing      organizational culture;Prior      fundraising or development experience required, with proven      track record of building upon and expanding the organization's donor base;Evidence of a      results-focused mindset in management, and a record of achieving desired      outcomes;Strategic thinker      who can communicate and implement the vision/plan for growth of the local      organization;Outstanding problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit;Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire and motivate both      internal and external stakeholders;Superior interpersonal and presentation skills;Evidence of excellent collaborative and relationship-building      abilities;Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects and      deadlines simultaneously;Flexible and adaptable to change;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Comfort with budgets      and financial management;Experience with the Omaha funder community preferred.IV. CompensationSalary will be commensurate with experience.
