UCF v. Samford Tailgating Videos Posted!

Humans and college students are genetically very similar, but the two don't always peacefully co-exist. College Stack researchers in the dense dangerous fraternity tent-forests of the University of Central Florida tailgating reserve worked hard to bring the two species together. We had to go further under the influence than any team has gone before. Our blood alchohol levels were an amzing 0.914% on average. We had to see how they were coping with the new tailgating reserve laws. We were willing to discover the answer at any cost. Communicating with them may be our only chance to ensure the population will sustain itself. One of our team members had a epiphony, and revealed in a dream that all the answers could only be seen through beer-goggles.

Eastern lowland students are a familiar species often exhibited in at many universities. Yet because the creatures are difficult to approach scientists know little about their lives in the wild. Even seasoned fratologist and sororoligist shiver at their first encounter with a 250-pound frisbee slinging plebe.

The UCF Tailgating Reserve features some 1,250 square ft of dense undergrad forests peppered with football throwing lane clearings, where many plebes congregate. These channels also offer a rare opportunity to get close to coeds, and participate in many of their customs. We threw disks at sticks in the ground and knocked off cups. Our Researchers were able to gradually move closer as the plebes became used to their presence, and we were able to catch some great footage for the first time ever.

UCF Tailgating Palooza!

Sit back, and tune your ear to hear the tale of a College Stack journey. A treacherous trek through a wild wilderness of tents as far as the Guinness-glazed eye can see. This was a place where the beer flowed like wine. This was unforgiving land laden with corn-holes. It was a place where the polish re-invented horseshoes, and rednecks played golf. The dangers are so apparent that Red Cross setup sickbays on both sides of this rough country. Only there could you see a raging sea of beautiful women with bodacious bodies shotgunning six-packs faster than the brawniest boys, and we caught it on film. We've witnessed frat-boy feats that could boggle the mind. Some could fling a frisbee faster, farther, straighter, and with more accuracy than any beach bum on any coast around the world. They managed such believe-it-or-nots with a beer welded to their free hand and another thirty pickling their gut. It was truly amazing. The most amazing display was the in-the-spirit-of-Woodstock gathering of all the tribes in peace and love united by a common affinity for our UCF Knights. Alcohol was guzzled by the tons, and there wasn’t a single shooting or fight…that we saw, but College Stack captured a fraction of this escapade in motion and still shots. Despite the rain, the College Stack tent still had a great turn-out. Can you believe almost 300 students wanted to sign up for an account on collegestack.com, or they sought FREE sunglasses and a chance to win a Wii? As of right now, about a 1/160 chance to win a Wii console. Even in a steady semi-torrential downpour, these loyal supporters of College Stack came out and signed up by the camel loads. Well, more like the mining dump truck loads. BTW, I've always wanted to see Trick My Truck or Pimp My Ride do a show where they tricked/pimped a mining dump truck. If only I were the producer... You know that would be tizight. Fo sho. Alright, I'm dizone. Now, if I can just find a cure for snoopisms.

A CALL TO ACTION: Students, Friends, Classmates, Colleagues, Brothers, and Sisters use the site, visit it, and become best-friends-with-benefits with it. Market Wednesday Numero Uno!

This past wednesday was College Stack's first UCF Market Wednesday. We had tons of support and a great turn-out. We had over 400 students sign up on collegestack.com. We gave away tons of free stuff. We are giving away a FREE Wii ! every two weeks as long as the UCF community continues to support us and supplies last. Everyone that signed up on the site got their name in a raffle to win the Wii. Their name will stay in the raffle indefinitely. The only name that is taken out is the winner's name, but there are ways to have one's name entered more than once. Bring a friend to sign up, or find easter eggs hidden throughout the site. We've built a great service, and we just hope students will find it useful. College Stack Market is an excellent place to buy and sell those college books. Sell Sell Sell...Them Old Books! This is perfect for all those UCF specific text books that can't be sold nation wide. Take advantage of our UCF area market. We've built this at the request of many many UCF students. They all wanted a place to buy and sell their books, and we delivered. So, make sure cobwebs don't fill up our market. If you sign up and build an account, it comes with an "Alerts" page. This page allows you to know when a user shows interest in your product. This alert will also go to your primary email if you choose that option in settings, but you don't have to sign up to use the market. We added a guest posting option so people that don't attend the university could offer items to students that could benefit. If you are a student, sign up. As the web grows and RSS feeds become more and more necessary, the world wide web will begin to evolve in another way. It is beginning to fractalize. It is becoming a world wide web of community wide webs. It is growing into a web of webs, or universe made of specialized galaxies. In anticipation of this we've been building this community wide web generally for the college/university community and specifically for the University of Central Florida community first. It was the closest and most populated college community. It is just an all around a great school. So, this is to be the perfect spot for our experiment. We will see see if this digital microcosm is robust and ready for the next step in evolution, and we strongly believe it is. We thought we were being innovative in a unique way, but the pesky universe has it's ways. When an idea is ready to be born, it looks for the most qualified, most capable, and/or most deserving people to manifest, and we aren't the only ones.

After a few months of development we noticed that Google and Yahoo! were essentially attempting to steer the world toward the same unification principal. Of course, they are the dark matter that holds the webiverse together. (Cue the Indiana Jones theme song.) So, we realized that we stepped out on faith, and now that invisible bridge powered by Google and Yahoo! was there to lead us to the Holy Grail. Now, if we can only pick the right one... Relax, CollegeStack.com wasn't built by George Lucas. We've put 10 times more effort into this site than he put into Episodes I, II, and III, and we promise that that Jar Jar Binks is in no way involved in green screen tours of our site, and that he don't has a life debt wis thissin hissin. We want the world to know that if College Stack was Liam Neeson instead of Harrison Ford that that damn Gungan would've been tripped and trampled. Anyway, I'm done.

This all-in-one college community harmonizes and unifies a college student's webtivities and daily computer routines. We have a brick-ton of ideas just waiting to be implemented, and we perpetually welcome suggestions and constructive criticisms. We are open-minded about newer and better ways. If we aren't using them, it's because they are too expensive, or we are just plain ignorant of their existence. Ultimately, we need the support of everyone. We've worked hard to bring these services to students free of charge. So, click click click, browse browse, and come back. This is our life blood. Trust me, you guys want to see what we have planned, and we just need your support, and by "support" I don't mean money. It's free. We just need you to school yourself. That's our motto or slogan or slotto or mottogan...I managed to use it in appropriate context. Unlike dialogue in bad movies where they say the name of the movie and there is a still frame and silence for two or three seconds afterwards for futher effect. AHHH! real monsters, I hate that. ok cool. Well, bye.

Moving In The Furniture

Our team is busy inputting and verifying all of the UCF organizations, area apartment complexes, restaurants, hotttest of hotspots, events, and other. It's filling up fast. We'll easily be in full swing by the time college kicks off.

Launch Day Approaching!

The services (restuarant finder etc.) are gradually being populated and fine-tuned with businesses as we get approval and add them. Otherwise, the site is in full swing. It will officially launch on the first wednesday of this semester. We will have our College Stack tent out at the first market day. We are hoping to give 2,000 FREE shirts per month to students when they sign up. So, get a head start and sign up.
