A beautiful weekend at the Texas Reds Wine and Steak Festival in Bryan Texas, our neighboring city to College Station. I saw so many great bands & musicians I can only start to mention them.

Ray Wylie Hubbard & Uncle Lucius who are both from the Austin area. The RoomSounds from Dallas and many others. Ray Wylie has been playing since the 60′s. There was 40-50 bands playing numerous stages.

Two days of good food, drink and free live music. Some fantastic artist with their art on display, along with many other beautiful attractions. If I said I had a fun weekend that would be a major understatement.

Our Taxi Cab Riders Donald Trump Comments. Taxi Drivers hear a lot. Fortunately for us people feel at ease around us. These are not direct quotes. A list we created in our own words compiled from a lot of discussions with a lot of passengers. All age groups, race and gender. Around 70% men and 30% women.

What I hear…

Donald Trump is saying things most Americans want to hear.

Washington desperately needs a stern leader.

It’s good to see someone stand up to Big Gov.

I don’t think he is purposely trying to offend women, he speaks the same way about men.

At first I thought it was a joke, but the more I listen, the more he seems to make sense.

I like the idea of the Mexican government to pay for building a wall on our Southern border. (#1)

The U.S. / Mexico Border wall subject comes up in almost all conversions about Trump. Then again, we are a Southern border state. It’s a concern.

The post doesn’t mean we are on the trump bandwagon. But we are citizens concerned about the future of our country. We want better for our future “family tree” offspring. We don’t just need a change, we need a positive change. Our government owes it to us. We are paying customers.

Bri Bagwell is originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico. It wasn’t long ago I saw her at Wolf Pen Amphitheater here in College Station. All of the guys in her band graduated from Texas A&M University. Might be the reason their Reverbnation music page has College Station listed as their home.

Delete Their Facebook After They Die? Sounds creepy. A little too morbid for me. I don’t really care either way If mine is deleted or left up. The younger generation says no, the older generation says yes. Will the younger generation feel differently when they are old. Chances are they will. My thought pattern is the complete opposite of what it was in the 80s.
