Finally! Spring has sprung, with sunshine and the first really warm temperatures of the season. As many Colonial high school students were wrapping up their spring break last weekend, you might think they'd take the opportunity to hang out with friends and catch some rays--and they did . . . just not exactly like you'd imagine. Radiate is a one-day opportunity for students to serve in our community. Last Saturday, more than 75 students fanned out across the Triangle to serve meals at a local soup kitchen, clean a preschool for needy children, sort and organize donations to area ministries that serve the poor, and to clean the yards and homes of two area families. The pictures say it all . . .
