KBShimmer Summer Polish Press Release

KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line and an expansion to their nail prep line. Owner Christy Rose says “With warm weather and sandals popping up, June is the perfect time for bright, bold colors and patriotic themes to celebrate a fun and exciting summer.”

The summer lineup includes one glitter top coat, two glitter crellys in a white base and six bright, bold polishes, two in a matte finish. KBShimmer will also be expanding their nail care line to include two scented cuticle oils and liquid nail prep. “Our new line was created to play off the bolder palette of summer, some inspired by the 80’s and 90s, but also to celebrate the patriotic season. One of our polishes plays off the color of the year, Emerald Green, and will ease people into the summer while two others were inspired by the fall 2013 Pantone colors Koi and Vivacious. Both will make for an easy transition through the summer and into the fall. We are also excited to unveil two scented cuticle oils in an easy-applicator pen. We hope to inspire and motivate people to go out in the sun and show off their nails!” says Rose.

What’s Your Damage? – White crelly polish with neon green, neon pink, and black glitters.

Don’t Pink Twice –Bright near magenta pink with subtle blue shimmer – matte

24 Carrot Bold –Orange red polish with gold shimmer – matte

Blinded By The Bright – Neon yellow polish with a scattering of hex glitters in the 6 primary and secondary colors

The Dancing Green –A almost neon green with blue undertones, accented by fuchsia, sapphire, green and chartreuse glitters in different shapes and sizes

Totally Tubular – A blue-green crelly polish with fuchsia circle glitters in two sizes and fuchsia micro slices, aqua circle glitters and sapphire hex glitters.

Totally Razzical – A red-violet shade leaning towards the purple side of raspberry. Loaded with holographic hex glitters in magenta, silver and pink.

Grayscale – Black, White, and Gray glitters are suspended in a clear base. Circles, hexes, rectangles, and squares in so many sizes complete this glitter top coat.

Pimp My Pride – This white based polish features metallic red and blue glitters. Best worn in three coats, or 1-2 coats over your favorite white.

Hello!
This is In The Cab-Ana from the Resort 2013 Collection, In The Cab-Ana is a vibrant aqua blue creme. The formula on this was a little bit streaky and I needed to apply three thin coats.

I did the Saran Wrap technique using Bubbly Gold and Ginger Swing from Lancome.

I stamped using the LeaLac plate LLC-A and the plate XL U

China Glaze - Highlight Of My Summer, That's Shore Bright and Sun Of A Peach

Hello!
These are from the Summer Sunsational Collection that China Glaze brought out this year. There's 12 polishes in this collection, six of them are creme and six are jellies.

The three shades I'm showing you here are from the creme side, the green is called Highlight Of My Summer, is a very bright mint green, the purple is That's Shore Bright and the Sun Of A Peach is a orange/peach neon.

The formula on these was ok, a little bit streaky and chalky but manageable, I did three coats of each shade.
I'm in love with these shades, they are very pretty, I like how bright they are, just wonderful for a summer pedicure.

OPI Couture de Minnie Collection, Swatches and Review

Hello everyone!
This year OPI came out with another collection inspired by Minnie Mouse, Couture de Minnie. This collection consists of five polishes.

Chic From Ears To Tail is a light pink with a subtle shimmer. I applied three thin coats.

Minnie Style is a clear base with red, pink and white glitter. This is one coat over Chic From Ears To Tail.

A Definite Moust-Have is a coral-ish pink with a very delicate pearly shimmer. The pigmentation on this one was great, it was opaque in one medium coat but I applied two.

Innie Minnie Mightie Bow is a stunning shimmery red, the formula on this one was also great. Opaque in two easy coats.

Magazine Cover Mouse is a liquid sand shade of red with gold and pink shimmer. I love the formula on this, it applied easily and was opaque in two coats.

Overall I really liked this collection, my favorites are Magazine Cover Mouse and A Definite Moust-Have.

Mother's Day Nails

Good Morning Beauties!
I hope that all the Moms out there had a beautiful day!

These are the nails I wore yesterday, I used Are You Jelly? from the China Glaze Summer 2013 Collection.
Are You Jelly? is a beautiful bright jelly purple. I applied three thin coats. (I'm sorry but I forgot to take pictures before stamping)

I stamped some flowers from a plate with no name or number using Konad white, then I added a coat of Are You Jelly? and stamped flowers again followed of a coat of Seche Vite. (This is not my original idea, somebody else came out with this but I can't remember who it was)

Lancome - Aqua Bleu

Good Morning!

This is a nail art I did yesterday using a stunning nail lacquer from Lancome, Aqua Bleu. This is part of the Aquatic Summer Collection. It's a medium blue creme shade. I got full coverage with two easy coats. I love how perfect this formula is!

For this manicure I started applying a white creme shade and stamped using the plate from Cheeky CH12 and Aqua Bleu I did two coats of the blue shade creating a triangular half moon using Scotch tape and added a square rhinestone.

On my middle finger I stamped using the plate from Pueen 43

Good Morning Beauties!

This is Ozotic 744, a beautiful purple and blue duo-chrome shade, this also has a hint of pink depending on what angle the light hits your nails from. I applied two thin coats to obtain full coverage. The application was excellent and the formula was very easy to work with.

I water marbled with Seche Vite and Sally Hansen Black Out. I had to work quick with SV because it's a fast drying top coat but it worked very well.

Party Princess is a mix of teal, hot pink, white matte glitters and iridescent color shifting blue/purple glitters.

Baby Shower is a mix of matte pastel blue, pink, and frost white glitters in various sizes.

Ice Graffiti is made of lavender, blue, black and white matte glitters in various shapes and sizes.

Death by Glitter is made up of many sizes and shapes of glitter both metallic and matte finishes.

Pure Nail Lacquer, Swatches and Review

Today I have for you some swatches from Pure Nail Lacquer.

Lucid is a jelly bright almost neon blue shade. I applied three coats to achieve opacity.

Loyal is a medium purple creme. This was opaque in two easy coats.

Honesty is a neon pink. These pictures were taken under a different light source to capture the real color.

I really love these shades, the quality of the formula is excellent, they apply easily and smoothly.

Deborah Lippmann - The Mermaids

Hello everyone!
Today I have for you swatches from the new Deborah Lippmann's collection for Summer 2013, The Mermaids.
This collection consists of four metallic shimmery glitter shades. Because these are on the sheer side I applied three coats from each to achieve full coverage except for Mermaid's Eyes that needed just two coats.

Mermaid's Kiss is a light shimmery pink base with a mix of dark pink and gold glitter.

Million Dollar Mermaid is a light orange shimmery base packed with orange and gold glitter.

Do The Mermaid is a stunning light shimmery lavender base with gold and purple glitter. This is my favorite from this collection. It's Gorgeous!

Mermaid's Eyes is a beautiful shimmery blue base with darker blue and gold glitter, this shade was opaque in just two coats.

MAC - Breezy Blue

Hello!
MAC Breezy Blue is a blurple creme. It was a little sheer and streaky on the first coat but the second coat evened it out. I ended up liking this a lot.

The formula on this wasn't too bad, I heard MAC polishes tend to be streaky. What I liked most about this polish was the pigmentation. I evened it out in two coats, and when I removed the polish my nails weren't stained.

I stamped using my new Cheeky Jumbo plate #2 and Konad special polish.

The glitter I used was Emily de Molly Bright Young Things.

Dior - Nymphea

Hello everyone!
This is Nymphea from Dior, a light minty blue with a slightly green undertone. The creme formula is superb, I applied two coats to obtain full coverage.

For my accent nail I used two coats of KIKO 401, a teal holographic shade.

I stamped using the image plate Pueen27 and KIKO 401, on my index finger I applied a heart shape rhinestone.

Pueen - Love Elements Stamping Set Review

Hello everyone!
Today I'm doing a review of the New Pueen stamping plates set called Love Elements.

This new set comes with 24 image plates. Each plate measures about 5.5cm (diameter) with sanded edges for easy and comfortable handling. Each plate comes with a protective nylon screen. All image plates are made from high grade stainless steel and are paper backed to prevent scratching during storage. There are 6 designs per plate, total of 144 images.

This set came in a small display and storage case, very handy when you need to look for a specific design.

Now, let's take a closer look at the plates...

The theme of this set is Love, you will see a lot of hearts, laces, flowers, and stars ♥

I stamped some images on a white paper to show you how crisp they came out, you are able to see the details in each image.

These plates are working very well, the images came out neatly. I didn't have any problem transferring the images from the plates to the paper or the nails.
There's a lot of new images in this set, some are very unique and cute.

Dior - Lilac Colorvision

Today I have this beauty from Dior to show you , Lilac Colorvision is a soft lilac creme. The formula on this is perfect, I applied two easy coats to obtain full opacity.

I did some dots using Color Club Glitter Wonderland, Pucci-Licious and Eternal Beauty and some dotting tools.

Today I will be showing you a set of 3D Nail Art Decoration from Pueen. My dear friend Marta from Chit Chat Nails is also reviewing this product, please go to her blog to see how she used these beautiful pieces.

The kind people from Pueen sent me a really cute package with some 3D Nail Art Decorations. Each package comes with 30 pieces including bows and flowers in different colors and styles, some in plastic and some in metal.

These 3D decorations are 9mm x 6mm, the perfect size for your nails. I applied the bow on my ring finger using a drop of nail glue.
