Presidential Coloring Books For Adults

Happy Presidents Day! If you have the day off, perhaps you’ll have a few minutes to enjoy coloring books for adults. I sat on the couch for a few hours yesterday with my lap desk, thoroughly enjoying a nice stress free coloring session. The cat curled up in the sunbeam from the window on the back of the couch, and the puppy was curled up at my feet. What a perfect way to spend a quiet Sunday.

You may like some of these Presidential Coloring Books for Adults, although it is a little late to have them to colour today. They will be fun to color while you think about your favorite Presidents (I’m sure we all have one or two), and ponder who will win the next election.

If you have never read anything about the history of the White House, I highly recommend the last coloring book for adults. The White House has an interesting story which I don’t believe most of us have ever learned in school – at least I did not.

Coloring Books For Adults Are Great For Greeting Cards

Coloring books for adults are great sources for line art to create all sorts of wonderful paper crafts, such as handmade greeting cards. I hope you’ll consider creating a unique home made greeting card to send to a friend or loved one for Card Reading Day on Feb. 21st. In general, I don’t like “made up” holidays like Card Reading Day because I feel like they are just here to make you go out and buy a gift or greeting card. But I’ve changed my mind about this particular holiday and I explain why at my main blog, Foovay’s Cauldron. I believe a handmade greeting card is even more cherished by the recipient. They know you took the time to choose art they will love, and to color it and back it with card stock, adding a personal message. That makes it art to cherish forever.

How about a blast from the past for adults to color? Admit it, we remember when paisley was the pattern for all our shirts and granny dresses – except for the ones we had tie-dyed.
