Join John and Camilla for a day you won't forget.

John Denton is a Fellow of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photography and works across Europe on Fashion and Art Nude Commissions.

Camilla-Rose Helley is a rising star in the world of Art Nude modelling. She wil demonstrate her full range of poses and talk about how direction can be delivered to get the most from your models.

Together John and Camilla will work through a range of techniques for styling, posing and lighting the contemporary and classic nude images. You will use ambient light, speedlights, other light sources and Elinchrom Quadras to create a portfolio of fantastic imagery.

John will also demonstrate the Lightroom and Photoshop techniques he uses to develop his images.

The lab will close from 12.00pm on Friday 23rd December and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January 2012.

Christmas Orders by Post

Orders received by first class post on Monday 19th December will be back in the post by Wednesday 21st December at the latest. Urgent orders can be returned to you by Courier/Special Delivery on request, at your expense.

Renaissance Album Orders

The last date for Renaissance albums is Wednesday 14th December 2011. We will do our best to complete orders received after this date.

Seldex Orders
The last ordering date for Seldex Albums and portfolio boxes is Thursday 17th November 2011. Seldex Artistic Albums have confirmed to us that they will be shipping to Colorworld right up to the Monday before Christmas.

StudioPartner Orders

Orders for prints received by 8am on Tuesday 20th December will be ready for despatch on Wednesday 21st December. If your prints require mounting please telephone the lab to ensure we can handle your order within this time. Couriered orders will be despatched on Wednesday 21st December 2010 for delivery on Thursday 22nd December 2011.

As always, orders received after these dates may still be received in time for Christmas. In recent years we have met all requests for last minute Christmas orders and we will do our utmost to meet your demands this year.

An open 'Fun' day at Colorworld Imaging in North shields on Monday 10th October from 11.00am - 5.00pm.

The Studio Day, will have two studio area's set up with the latest Broncolor lighting systems and accessories - all for you to play with, to test and question . bring your camera's for a great day of playing with light .. FREE OF CHARGE !!!

We have a professional model for your shoots, and a couple of demonstations through the day, Our Photographic lighting expert Chris Burfoot will be on hand to show the benefits of the Broncolor products, The day will begin at 11.00 am and finish around 5.00pm, please feel free to 'pop' in at anytime or stay and play all day - please feel free to bring your own camera along, also available is the wonderful Hasselblad camera's - please bring memory sticks to take away your images.

Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the day, Although we do not have the facility for lunches or snack's, so if staying for the day .. Please bring a Picnic !!!

October Fotoinspir3 Training Days with Colorworld

Fotoinspir3 is the Contemporary Foto Training side of Bristo Photography. It is run by photographer Pete Bristo MBE FBIPP FMPA FSWPP. Pete is a working wedding photographer who shoots over 50 weddings a year with his wife Sheryl. He has been a photographer for over 25 years and has a wealth of knowledge in weddings, Portraiture and Press photography. Pete is the highest qualified wedding photographer in the UK today with 5 fellowships to his name and an MBE awarded to him by HRH the Queen for photographic work.

StudioPartner Roes and Colorworld Express Problems

The problems with StudioPartner Roes and Colorworld Express on Friday 27th May 2011 were due to a number of storm cells that had passed through the New York areas. Their failover/reroute lines were also damaged shortly after. Our software providers then commenced a full reroute of their servers but that would take up to 24 hours to propagate around the world. By 8pm on Friday, the lines had been restored, so customers should have been working again by Saturday evening at the very latest.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have cause you. These type of events happen very infrequently, but we will always do our best to resolve the issues as quickly as possible.

We're are holding our own seminar at the lab in North Shields with Hoss Hoss Mahdavi. New Exclusive 7 Deal

Colorworld have just signed an agreement with Exclusive 7 allowing us to distribute their range of digital photo frames. The frames' secret weapon is the security software which locks the images into the 1GB built in internal memory, preventing them from being downloaded or copied. Launch of New Lay Flat Books

Yes they are finally here. You've waited long enough. We are pleased to announce our new lay flat books are now available through Colorworld Designer Pro. These special books have been developed to allow the pages to lie flat when open. Printed on our digital press, they have the same print quality as our traditional coffee table books but with the feature of being able to lie flat. The covers are printed photographically and laminated with a gloss laminate for protection.

Available in sizes 10x8 up and view, 10x10, 12x9 up and view and 12x12 with a maximum of 30 double spreads. Prices start at just £59.00 + VAT. A complete price list can be downloaded from our Downloads page. Please ensure that you have logged into the web site first.

Hopefully by now you are aware of our new Colorworld Designer Pro software. Software to assist you in the creation of Renaissance Digital albums and Coffee Table books. Colorworld Designer Pro is available for both PC and Mac users and can be downloaded from our website free of charge. To download the software, please follow this link then login with your account details. If you have not already registered with Colorworld then use the Registration Page to obtain a username and password. We would also like to thank everyone who came to our stand at Focus on Imaging 2010 earlier this week. We received an amazing response and were overwelmed by the comments regarding our products and customer service. At Focus, we also distributed our new Colorworld Imaging 2010 brochure.
