Come at me, brah.

Oh hai!

Hey fellas. Sorry for the disappearance, I've been busy as hell between school and work. I finally got some time to breathe so I've got some time to post again (Wewtzorz). So, what have I been up to other than school and work? Nothing all that special, sadly. Mundane life is the best life. It'll pick up though once my friends come back from college,.. hopefully. Until then, parodies of songs have been keeping me going and entertained. Mainly,..

And, I first saw this one many a year ago.

Note: I actually really enjoy Trivium. So my opinion of the band is not that of the creator, but lols did ensue.

2011 isn't just a good year for PS3 owners.

I just took a look here and oh my goodness, there are some huge metal albums coming out this year. Let's see; As Blood Runs Black, Devildriver, Amon Amarth, Unearth, Decapitated, Meshuggah, August Burns Red, Machine Head and Opeth (Just to name a few)? Color me stoked. Its gonna be a great year. But anyway, what releases are you looking forward to in 2011? Any genre of course.

Oh, and btw, Tool also has a planned release in 2011.

Thrift Store Fun

So happy Super Bowl Day, or however you're suppose to extend that greeting. I found this shirt at the local Salvation Army thrift store I work at.

Isn't it win?

Zomg iPod Touch

So, I just picked up my iPod touch. Pretty neat to mess around with so far. What apps do you guys use and suggest? Thanks in advance.

Paypal resolution!

As I mentioned in an earlier blog I was having some problem with a troublesome seller not refunding a purchase, but I'm glad to say now that the problem was resolved and I got my cash back. Wewt! But anyway, I decided I'd share my band's page with you, which you can find here. If you're into metal its worth a look, I recommend Loki or Show You Hell. But we've been together for about 6 months and we're starting to get our feet wet with gigs. We've shared stages with God Forbid and a few other national touring bands. So if you get a chance, check us out and let me know what you think. :D

Also, for the lulz, have you all seen the video of Jimmy Buffet totally eating it off stage?

Enjoy. :P

Ebay shenanigans

2011-02-02T13:21:00.000-08:00

Well, this might be the first and last time I deal with ebay. I mean, fantastic site of course, but it definitely causes headaches when you aren't too careful. So there I am with some spare cash to burn and I'm looking for somewhere to spend it. I haven't had an MP3 player in ages. My last one broke maybe about 3 years ago, somewhere around there, so I started to look into ipod touches. But to get to the meat of the story I bid on one on ebay and won (super reasonable price too). Overjoyed I sent my payment through paypal and continued on with my normal daily routines. The next day I checked my email to find that I received a message from the seller. Here he had run out of iPods and didn't have one to sell to me (Awesome, right?). Disappointed, I replied saying I understood and canceled the ebay transaction. I expected the refund through paypal to be linked to the cancellation process, but I was mistaken. I also made a mistake of bidding on, winning and paying for another iPod touch after canceling the first transaction. So I'm stuck here with an overdrawn checking account because the two charges came through at once. I frantically tried to contact the seller telling him of the manual paypal refund he has to follow through with. After not hearing from him for a day or two I opened up a paypal dispute and at this point I'm facing some lovely 37 dollar fees through my bank for the overdraw. So here I am still, waiting to hear back from this seller trying to avoid more fees from the bank. 'Tis most lovely.

So what I want to know is, if you have dealt with ebay, how were the majority of your experiences. Ever have any terrible experiences like this?

First Poast!

Seeing as that a bunch of friend have mine has migrated to blogspot, seems I had to tag along. As for what this blog will be used for, only the future will tell. :D
