Sweet Enchantment the newly opened Rock Candies shop in Vivo City. It's barley 4 months old and it has ROCK my world (Rock candies…. Rock my world. Get it? Hahaha) Did I mention it comes in really adorable glass containers? I am trying to think of something crafty to do with those cuties (another entry. another time)

The main differences between them and what’s already in the market: All Natural with No Artificial flavouring. It’s really important to me caused I am trying to eat healthy and with this I will not short change myself with the good stuffs. If you had tried other brand of rock candy, you will find "Sweet Enchantment" not as sweet and taste a lot more natural in term of taste. Lavender is an acquired taste and not all will like it. (pretty much like durians. U either like it or love it) . As it’s natural flavouring, the taste is not overwhelming like air fresher. It gives me a calming feeling every time I have it, it’s very much like having an aromatherapy in the mouth.

Product Review: SMOOTH E -WHITE BABYFACE SERUM

I came across this at BOOTS in Bangkok in Febduring my honeymoon in Phuket.

What caught my attention was "Anti-Melasma"!

I have been wanting to get rid of my dark spots for the longest time.

(When I was young. I tanned without sunblock. I totally regret it now)

I tried a lot of products. Seriously a lot.

But none works.

With the price of 189baht (S$8.20), it's worth a try.

So I bought a box and eagerly wanted to try after shower.

When I opened the box, I was slightly disappointed due to the size of it.

It's tiny!

The leaflet said I need to use for 2 weeks to see result.

I don't think this can last me more than 3 days.
But that's not true.

The texture of the serum is rich unlike the others which is either watery or gel like.

This feels almost like a night cream so you don't really need to use much of it.

It is rather oily after application compared to the rest.

But I was thinking if there's any outbreak, I would just throw it away

The next morning instead of a pimple face which i am half expecting, a more radiant skin greeted me!

I am pleasantly surprised.

So I continued using it every night.

It has been 3 weeks now and my melasma is getting lighter and less noticeable.

If anyone shares the same problem as me, you can consider using this.

p/s: It's selling @ Selected Singapore Guardian (Nex is one of them).
Please note the one selling in Singapore is the bigger bottle hence higher price.

Finally it's not some budget airline.

My dad is paying for the hotel stay.
AWESOME!!

The main reason why we are staying there again is because my dad loves the breakfast there.
No complain since it's right beside my favorite shopping centre!

We drove passed this cafe a number of times and finally made a trip down last Saturday.
I love what they did with the place.

Chalk-board wall with cute drawings. Bright, woody and simple.

There isn't a wide selection of food choices but like what one of the co-owner (it's a brother & sister team), Olivia, told us "All the courses in the menu are family recipes. We only cook when the order is placed. No artificial flavour. No MSG. No flavouring essence in the cake. It's as good as what you cook at home."

Baby ordered D'lite Laska ($5.20) and I had Haianese Style Chicken Cutlet with Fried Rice ($7.80).

D'lite laska does not mean it short changed us on the taste in fact the laska is full flavour without the overpowering richness of coconut milk. Friendly to the heart.

However my all time favorite laska will still be the one from Bt Timah Plaza. (That will be another blog for another day)

Haianese Style Chicken Cutlet with Fried Rice. Surprisingly it does remind me of the fried rice from my good old school days that cost me $0.70 from the canteen. Very home-cooked style. But the cutlet is the STAR! Tender, juicy at the inside, crispy at the outside. I guess Olivia isn't lying when she said all cutlet are fried only when order is placed. Nothing is pre-fried.

Now for the best part of the whole meal.
DESSERT!

We ordered a "The Fudge Ugly Choco-Bana Cake" ($5.50).

The Banana cake is moist and soft together with the natural sweetness of the banana filling and slightly bitter-sweet chocolate fudge.

There is really nothing to complain about it other than... Can you make it bigger!? haha
If you are ta-baoing back and leaving it in the fridge overnight, please remember to microwave it for 15 sec.
It's more shiok!!!

Most might think the price is rather high but let's face it even Toast Box's mee siam costs $4.50.
For a more comfortable ambiance, friendly staff and oh-so-good dessert.
I will be back.

Review: Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral BB

After having such a great experience with Elishacoy Always Triple Bb Cream, I am pleased to be able to do another review for Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral BB.

Due to some hiccups during the delivery, I only received it 2 weeks later. All is good now.

What makes this BB cream so special?

Sounds too good to be true?

Time to put the BB cream to the test.

But first i need to scare my readers with my nude face photo.

Checkout my dark circles! Gosh. Darker than the dark hole.

Haven't been sleeping well or early.

This BB cream has a higher coverage than Elishacoy Always Triple Bb Cream. A small amount will be good for the whole face. Texture is smooth and it spreads easily. If you like the dewy effect from a BB cream, this will be great for you too. It gives a subtle glow and up the moisture level without adding on to the richness.

To have a better view of how big the contrast is before and after applying the BB cream, I applied it on only half of my face.
