To The Guy Who Tailgated Me For 20 Miles

To the guy who tailgated me for 20 miles this morning...
I get it. You wanted to go faster, and given that you drive a Mitsubishi Lancer maybe you are under the impression that you are fast and/or furious. I’m the guy who was in front of you for 20 miles from Alpine Junction to Ithaca, driving at various speeds with the constant being that you were so close to my rear end it felt like I was trapped in a changing room with Richard Simmons.
We met at 61 mph, a nice speed for Route 13 — fast enough to not take forever and slow enough to go unremarked by the many police who patrol that road. You were unsatisfied and expressed it by staying a cool 5 feet off my bumper. I slowed down gradually to 55 mph. This was one of several opportunities to pass me, but you just slowed down too and stayed back there like you wanted to turn on a Sting album and spoon me. So I sped up again hoping that you’d get the message and let me keep the distance I had won between us…but no, you are a jealous sharer of the road, Mitsubishi Lancer. You caught up. For 10 more miles we were like cellmates and you tried to make me your bitch, but all you succeeded in doing was going 13 miles an hour slower than when you started tailgating me. How did that work out for you?
Coming down the hill into Ithaca I sped up again, figuring you’d been punished enough. So when you tried to give me the Sneaky Pete again, I admit I lost my cool and touched the brake for the first time. I hope you spilled your coffee on what I imagine were your Faded Glory pleated khaki pants. Then, in the two-lane road in town you didn’t go around. You proceeded to follow me all the way to my parking place before giving me a look and going on your way to, I assume, the DMV where you work.
I offer you these common sense tips:
1. Tailgating is a dick move, and it’s even more of a dick move if the guy in front of you is already well above the speed limit on a well-patrolled road.
2. If you are tailgating someone and they slow down, that’s your cue to pass and if you can’t pass, well then screw you because you are being a dick anyway.
3. It actually makes sense to leave some distance for you too. Have you seen all the deer carcasses on the road? That’s because cars hit them. If a deer jumps in front of me and I have to slam on the brakes, I don’t want you crashing into me. Based on your body, your reaction time is only fast in World of Warcraft.

Ex Geek Squad Employee Tells All

Alright, I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and full time student at New Horizons getting certified in Linux and Cisco Systems. I have lived entirely off of eBay for the past year and a half and last month I decided to take a job on the side to help pay some bills while attending school. I got a referral from my "Placement Coordinator" at New Horizons for a job as a Geek Squad agent at Best Buy. After 3 interviews and numerous certification exams, I was in. I was the only one out of 34 applicants from New Horizons alone to be accepted.

From day one, I was absolutely amazed at what Geek Squad really does. They are absolutely NOT technicians. Agents are not certified in computer repair or diagnostics! They are certified in sales, customer profiling, and situational tactics. I kid you not! I had to take 2 (100 question) exams based entirely on "expected computer repair costs from urban environments in today's economy" and how to get the upper hand. Needless to say, I quit today after 52 days of work.

So here is what I have say about Geek Squad:

1. DO NOT take your computer to Geek Squad for a software issue!

Reason: Geek Squad charges $70 for a diagnostic (which is a program built into every computer's BIOS, it's nothing special). A "Repair" (which is just removing virus infections or reinstalling the OS if needed) is $130. A grand total of $200. And that's only if you don't care that they wipe the hard drive clean! If you have ANY files that you want backed up, even 2-3 pictures, it will cost you AT LEAST another $100. And the "Advanced Data Management Transfer" that they mention is just dragging and dropping your files onto a DVD and burning it. If your OS is corrupt and you can't get to your files, move the HDD to another computer and drag-&-drop your files over. DON'T take it to the Geek Squad.

2. Geek Squad CANNOT do ANY hardware repairs in-store.

Reason: Any client with a hardware issue must send their unit to service; A: for liability reasons and B: because no agent is trained in hardware repair. It takes AT LEAST 2 1/2 weeks to get a response from service and again, you will be charged to backup files.

3. Never have an "Optimization" done by Geek Squad.

Reason: Whenever you purchase a new computer from Best Buy, you are pressured into thinking that the computer already has issues. Best Buy's salespeople will say: "Oh this computer really needs a new PC setup to create a user account and an optimization to speed it up, oh and you HAVE to get an anti-virus program, and you won't be able to type anything without Microsoft Office". It's absolute bullshit.

Here's what we do for an optimization:

-Open up the control panel and uninstall trial software
-Remove unwanted desktop icons and shortcuts
-Run Windows Updates

That's it.

4. Agents DO lie to customers!

During my fist interview, I was asked by our SSM how much I normally charge to backup someone's files and install an upgraded operating system on a computer with a virus. I said $50, because that's what I always charge. It's not difficult and it doesn't take very long. Well, I was told that the store would charge $600!!! Here's the layout:

1. Diagnostic and Repair (to find and remove the virus) - $200
2. Backup Files (drag-&-drop) - $150
3. Perform a clean install of a new OS - $130 (which would format the HDD and remove the virus anyway)
4. Purchase the operating system ($120 for a standard edition of Windows 7)
-If you just want a restore, they HAVE to have your original recovery discs (that aren't included in 50% of new computers) and all they do is put the discs in and hit "Run".

All for a whopping $600... the price of a brand new badass computer with every bell and whistle available. It's insane, absolutely insane.

Here's what I was told: 90% of people don't know anything about computers. They know that technology is a huge industry and it is commonly expensive. The fact is, people are dumb, they don't know anything about computers so we have the upper hand. If a customer comes in with a computer and says it's slow, just open up Computer Management, find some random errors and say "Oh yeah, you have a really bad virus, your banking information is vulnerable". And they will pay whatever it takes to get their files back and for their computer to be safe.

And let me tell you a little secret: There is only ONE tool that Geek Squad uses that isn't readily available to the public. It's called "MRI" and you know what? It's all over the internet. Search for MRI on isohunt.com and you'll find it. Most of the time a new updated version of MRI is available online long before it hits the store!

So all I really have to say is: Stay away from Geek Squad. If you have computer issues, look on Craigslist, find someone who knows what their doing and get it done quick and cheap. I live in Gainesville FL and know for a fact that there are at least 1,000 UF students that could do everything Geek Squad does in about an hour for $20 or so. Don't trust Geek Squad!!!

Obama Isn't What You May Think

I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he's
led a kind of make-believe life in which money was
provided and doors were opened because at some point
early on somebody or some group took a look at this
tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man
with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he
could be guided toward a life in politics where his
facile speaking skills could even put him in the White
House.

In a very real way, he has been a young man in a very
big hurry. Who else do you know has written two memoirs
before the age of 45? "Dreams of My Father" was
published in 1995 when he was only 34 years old. The
"Audacity of Hope" followed in 2006. If, indeed, he did
write them himself. There are some who think that his
mentor and friend, Bill Ayers, a man who calls himself
a "communist with a small 'c'" was the real author.

His political skills consisted of rarely voting on
anything that might be deemed controversial.. He went
from a legislator in the Illinois legislature to the
Senator from that state because he had the good fortune
of having Mayor Daley's formidable political machine at
his disposal.

He was in the U.S.. Senate so briefly that his bid for
the presidency was either an act of astonishing
self-confidence or part of some greater game plan that
had been determined before he first stepped foot in the
Capital. How, many must wonder, was he selected to be a
2004 keynote speaker at the Democrat convention that
nominated John Kerry when virtually no one had ever
even heard of him before?

He outmaneuvered Hillary Clinton in primaries. He took
Iowa by storm. A charming young man, an anomaly in the
state with a very small black population, he oozed
"cool" in a place where agriculture was the antithesis
of cool. He dazzled the locals.. And he had an army of
volunteers drawn to a charisma that hid any real
substance..

And then he had the great good fortune of having the
Republicans select one of the most inept candidates for
the presidency since Bob Dole. And then John McCain did
something crazy. He picked Sarah Palin, an unknown
female governor from the very distant state of Alaska .
It was a ticket that was reminiscent of 1984's Walter
Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro and they went down to
defeat.

The mainstream political media fell in love with him.
It was a schoolgirl crush with febrile commentators
like Chris Mathews swooning then and now over the man.
The venom directed against McCain and, in particular,
Palin, was extraordinary.

Now, nearly a full year into his first term, all of
those gilded years leading up to the White House have
left him unprepared to be President. Left to his own
instincts, he has a talent for saying the wrong thing
at the wrong time. It swiftly became a joke that he
could not deliver even the briefest of statements
without the ever-present Tele-Prompters.

Far worse, however, is his capacity to want to "wish
away" some terrible realities, not the least of which
is the Islamist intention to destroy America and
enslave the West. Any student of history knows how
swiftly Islam initially spread. It knocked on the doors
of Europe , having gained a foothold in Spain ..

The great crowds that greeted him at home or on his
campaign "world tour" were no substitute for having
even the slightest grasp of history and the reality of
a world filled with really bad people with really bad
intentions.

Oddly and perhaps even inevitably, his political
experience, a cakewalk, has positioned him to destroy
the Democrat Party's hold on power in Congress because
in the end it was never about the Party. It was always
about his communist ideology, learned at an early age
from family, mentors, college professors, and extreme
leftist friends and colleagues.

Obama is a man who could deliver a snap judgment about
a Boston police officer who arrested an "obstreperous"
Harvard professor-friend, but would warn Americans
against "jumping to conclusions" about a mass murderer
at Fort Hood who shouted "Allahu Akbar." The absurdity
of that was lost on no one. He has since compounded
this by calling the Christmas bomber "an isolated
extremist" only to have to admit a day or two later
that he was part of an al Qaeda plot.

He is a man who could strive to close down our
detention facility at Guantanamo even though those
released were known to have returned to the battlefield
against America .. He could even instruct his Attorney
General to afford the perpetrator of 9/11 a civil trial
when no one else would ever even consider such an
obscenity. And he is a man who could wait three days
before having anything to say about the perpetrator of
yet another terrorist attack on Americans and then have
to elaborate on his remarks the following day because
his first statement was so lame.

The pattern repeats itself. He either blames any
problem on the Bush administration or he naively seeks
to wish away the truth.

Knock, knock. Anyone home? Anyone there? Barack Obama
exists only as the sock puppet of his handlers, of the
people who have maneuvered and manufactured this
pathetic individual's life.

When anyone else would quickly and easily produce a
birth certificate, this man has spent over a million
dollars to deny access to his. Most other documents,
the paper trail we all leave in our wake, have been
sequestered from review. He has lived a make-believe
life whose true facts remain hidden.

We laugh at the ventriloquist's dummy, but what do you
do when the dummy is President of the United States of
America?

A Cultrual Crisis... not a Healthcare Crisis

Dear Mr. President:
During my shift in the Emergency Room last night, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient whose smile revealed an expensive shiny gold tooth, whose body was adorned with a wide assortment of elaborate and costly tattoos, who wore a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and who chatted on a new cellular telephone equipped with a popular R&B ringtone. While glancing over her patient chart, I happened to notice that her payer status was listed as "Medicaid"! During my examination of her, the patient informed me that she smokes more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day and somehow still has money to buy pretzels and beer. And, you and our Congress expect me to pay for this woman's health care? I contend that our nation's "health care crisis" is not the result of a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses. Rather, it is the result of a "crisis of culture", a culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on luxuries and vices while refusing to take care of one's self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance. It is a culture based in the irresponsible credo that "I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me". Once you fix this "culture crisis" that rewards irresponsibility and dependency, you'll be amazed at how quickly our nation's health care difficulties will disappear.

You and I have just witnessed one of the most corrupt legislative
sessions in American history.  Now we have learned that one of
the key "experts" pushing ObamaCare was also bought and paid for!

The New York Times has exposed Jonathan Gruber, a professor
of economics at M.I.T., as having published an article on their
Op-Ed page supporting ObamaCare without disclosing that he had
an ongoing consulting relationship with HHS.

The Times noted that Professor Gruber had signed a contract
obligating him to reveal such relationships.  It would have
been impossible for him to "forget" his consultancy - he had
nearly $400,000 worth of lucrative contracts with HHS at the time!

++But wait - it gets much, much worse...

Popular blog site Firedoglake revealed last Friday that the
Obama Administration has paid Gruber more than $780,000 in TAX
DOLLARS to make the public case for health care reform!

Jonathan Gruber's work has been extensively cited by the White
House, Members of Congress, and the media continuously since
ObamaCare came onto the scene, but NOT ONCE did anyone in
the administration disclose he was on their payroll!

    Here's Gruber's lame explanation: "All my editorials or
    public reports have been done on my own time."  I guess
    he expects us to believe that his views weren't influenced
    by the nearly one million dollars he's gotten so far!

++More "Chicago on the Potomac"

The Jonathan Gruber revelation is just the latest public exposure
of the graft and dishonesty which has characterized the way the
Obama/Pelosi/Reid power axis has advanced ObamaCare.  Given
what we know, can you imagine what else is under the table?!

Just before Christmas, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
ystematically bought off every Democrat member of the Senate who
could possibly derail his crucial cloture vote.  When all the
"bribes" were handed out, Reid had the required 60 votes to
choke off debate in the middle of the night.

The congressional leadership and the Obama White House arm
twisters have literally drug our nation down to the level of
a cheap banana republic!  They know their popular support is
plummeting.  They have become desperate and will stop at nothing.

Honest Americans have been nauseated as we have learned:

** Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) received $300 million in extra
 federal spending for her state in what critics derisively
 called "The Louisiana Purchase."

** Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) accepted a deal exempting his state
 from new Medicaid costs and several other long-term perks.
 Nelson's purchase has been dubbed the "Cornhusker Kick Back."

** Many other bribes and "special provisions" affected the states
 of Vermont, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Massachusetts,
 Hawaii, Michigan, Florida, and Connecticut.

But perhaps most painful of all, we have watched a smug Harry
Reid justifying his corrupt acts by suggesting it is every
senator's DUTY to get pay-offs for their votes!

"If they don't have something in it important to them, then it
doesn't speak well of them," Reid said in a post-cloture interview.
So much for the integrity of the United States Senate!

++On top of all the corruption, ObamaCare is unconstitutional

If you wondered why Harry Reid rushed his 2,074-page bill and its
383-page "Manager's Amendment" through in the middle of the night
with just hours to read them, then here's at least one answer...

    Right there on page 1,020, the tyrannical Senate majority
    insists that no future Congress can repeal or otherwise
    amend the section on "Independent Medical Advisory
    Boards."

You will probably remember that socialists mocked Governor Sarah
Palin for calling such independent boards "death panels." Yet
Governor Palin was correct in her assessment - what else would
you call boards with the power to grant or deny life-saving care
using some pseudo-scientific "cost-benefit" formula?

Carefully hidden away in Reid's version of ObamaCare is a section
that gives these boards far more power and permanence than the
Constitution allows to ANY government entity!

++ If this bill becomes law, Liberty Counsel will challenge its
constitutionality in court!

Every version of ObamaCare we've seen so far is unconstitutional
because:

    1)  Congress has NO authority to force every American to
  carry insurance coverage, and,
    2)  Congress has NO authority to fine employers whose
  policies do not have the mandated coverage.

Nancy, if this monstrous healthcare bill passes, it must
be strongly challenged in the federal judiciary from the moment
of its birth.  Liberty Counsel will do exactly that!

++But for now, especially since there is an increasing outcry
against ObamaCare's corruption, we MUST continue to make Congress
hear our voice!

    We are going all out to BURY Congress in protest over
    this endless procession of dirty tricks.  And it looks like
    ObamaCare is more vulnerable than ever due to the recent
    sordid revelations of bribery and scandal.

Americans nationwide are expressing OUTRAGE at this overt
manipulation and total lack of integrity.  Reid, Pelosi and
Obama have proven they will do anything to get this government
takeover of our medical industry.

Now more than ever, the socialists and abortion advocates need
to understand that WE HAVE NOT GIVEN UP and will resist to the
very end! If Reid loses one vote in the Senate or Pelosi three
or four in the House, then ObamaCare will not pass!

HIGH SCHOOL -- 1959 vs. 2009

Scenario 1:
Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack.
1959 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.
2009 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers.

Scenario 2:
Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school. This is so true, I had to pass it on!
1959 - Crowd gathers.. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies.
2009 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Johnny and Mark. They are both charged them with assault and both expelled even though Johnny started it.

Scenario 3:
Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students.
1959 - Jeffrey sent to the Principal's office and given a good paddling by the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.
2009 - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. He becomes a zombie. He is then tested for ADD. The school gets extra money from the state because Jeffrey has a disability.

Scenario 4:
Billy breaks a window in his neighbor's car and his Dad gives him a whipping with his belt.
1959 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college and becomes a successful businessman.
2009 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. The state psychologist is told by Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's mom has an affair with the psychologist.

Scenario 5:
Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.
1959 - Mark shares his aspirin with the Principal out on the smoking dock.
2009 - The police are called and Mark is expelled from school for drug violations.. His car is then searched for drugs and weapons.

Scenario 6:
Pedro fails high school English.
1959 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English and goes to college.
2009 - Pedro's cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. Vitamin B17 and Laetrile by Joe Vialls

During 1950 after many years of research, a dedicated biochemist by the name of Dr. Ernst T. Krebs, Jr., isolated a new vitamin that he numbered B17 and called 'Laetrile'. As the years rolled by, thousands became convinced that Krebs had finally found the complete control for all cancers, a conviction that even more people share today. Back in 1950 Ernst Krebs could have had little idea of the hornet's nest he was about to stir up. The pharmaceutical multinationals, unable to patent or claim exclusive rights to the vitamin, launched a propaganda attack of unprecedented viciousness against B17, despite the fact that hard proof of its efficiency in controlling all forms of cancer surrounds us in overwhelming abundance.

In his brilliantly researched 1974 book "World Without Cancer", researcher and author G. Edward Griffin explains the trophoblastic theory of cancer proposed by Professor John Beard of Edinburgh University, which states that certain pre-embryonic cells in pregnancy differ in no discernible way from highly-malignant cancer cells. Edward Griffin continues:

"The trophoblast in pregnancy indeed does exhibit all the classical characteristics of cancer. It spreads and multiplies rapidly as it eats its way into the uterus wall preparing a place where the embryo can attach itself for maternal protection and nourishment."

The trophoblast is formed in a chain reaction by another cell that Griffin simplifies down to the 'total life' cell, which has the total capacity to evolve into any organ or tissue, or a complete embryo. When the total life cell is triggered into producing trophoblast by contact with the hormone estrogen, present in both males and females, one of two different things happens. In the case of pregnancy the result is conventional development of a placenta and umbilical cord. If the trophoblast is triggered as part of a healing process however, the result is cancer or, as Edward Griffin cautions: "To be more accurate, we should say it is cancer if the healing process is not terminated upon completion of its task."

Stunning proof of this claim is readily available. All trophoblast cells produce a unique hormone called the chorionic gonadotrophic (CGH) which is easily detected in urine. Thus if a person is either pregnant or has cancer, a simple CGH pregnancy test should confirm either or both. It does, with an accuracy of better than 92% in all cases. If the urine sample shows positive it means either normal pregnancy or abnormal malignant cancer. Griffin notes: "If the patient is a woman, she either is pregnant or has cancer. If he is a man, cancer can be the only cause." So why all of the expensive, dangerous biopsies carried to 'detect' cancerous growths? One can only assume that medicare pays doctors a larger fee for biopsies than pregnancy tests.

So how is it that any of us gets cancer in the first place. Is it exposure to cigarette smoking, intense sunlight or perhaps the effect of toxic food additives? Dr. Krebs thinks not. All of the hard iochemical evidence points to the fact that cancer is a simple deficiency disease of vitamin B17, long ago removed from our highly refined, western diets. Krebs postulates that the so-called 'carcinogens' are merely stress triggers that finally expose the B17 deficiency with devastating effect.

The proof Krebs has presented over the years to support his claim is impressive. Centuries ago we used to eat millet bread, rich in B17, but now we chew our way through wheat which has none at all. For generations our grandmothers used to carefully crush the seeds of plums, green grapes, cherries, apples, apricots and other members of the botanical family Rosaceae, and diligently mix them with their home made jams and preserves. Grandma probably didn't know why she was doing it, but the seeds of all these fruits are the most potent source of B17 in the world. In the tropics, large quantities of B17 are found in cassava, also known as tapioca. When did you last eat some?

Independent research has also proved that a Himalayan tribe known as the 'Hunza' never contract cancer of any kind so long as they stick to their native diet which is exceptionally high in both apricots and millet. However, once exposed to western diets they become as vulnerable as the rest of us.

The implications of these findings are staggering of course. If we managed to control Scurvy (vitamin C deficiency) centuries ago, how is it we cannot do the same for cancer today? The fact of the matter is that we could if our respective governments would allow it. Unfortunately most governments have buckled under the pressure exerted by the pharmaceutical multinationals, the American Food & Drug Administration, and the American Medical Association. All three have mounted highly successful 'scare' campaigns based on the fact that vitamin B17 contains quantities of 'deadly' cyanide; conveniently forgetting that vitamin B12 also contains significant quantities of cyanide, and has long been available in health food shops world-wide.

Dr. Kreb's B17 Laetrile was derived from apricot seeds and then synthesized into crystalline form using his own unique process. Suddenly, the American FDA bombarded the media with a story about an unfortunate couple who had poisoned themselves by eating raw apricot seeds in San Francisco. The story made headline news across the U.S.A. although several suspicious journalists never managed to establish the identity of the unfortunate couple, despite many determined attempts. But the multinational pharmaceutical/FDA boot had been put in with a vengeance. From that point onwards eating apricot seeds or B17 Laetrile became synonymous with committing suicide.

Back in the fifties, Dr. Ernst Krebs proved beyond doubt that B17 was completely harmless to humans in the most convincing way possible. After testing the vitamin on animals, he filled a large hypodermic with a mega-dose which he then injected into his own arm! Drastic perhaps, but the adventurous Dr. Krebs is still alive and well today.

The vitamin is harmless to healthy tissue for a very simple reason: Each molecule of B17 contains one unit of cyanide, one unit of benzaldehyde and two of glucose (sugar) tightly locked together. In order for the cyanide to become dangerous it is first necessary to 'unlock' the molecule to release it, a trick that can only be performed by an enzyme called beta-glucosidase. This enzyme is present all over the body in minute quantities, but in huge quantities (up to 100 times as high) at cancerous tumour sites.

Thus the cyanide is released only at the cancer site with drastic results, which become utterly devastating to the cancer cells because the benzaldehyde unit also unlocks at the same time. Benzaldehyde is a deadly poison in its own right, which then acts synergistically with the cyanide to produce a poison 100 times more deadly than either in isolation. The combined effect on the cancer cells is best left to the imagination.

But what about danger to the rest of the body's cells? Another enzyme, rhodanese, always present in larger quantities than the unlocking enzyme beta-glucosidase in healthy tissues has the easy ability to completely break down both cyanide and benzaldehyde into beneficial body products. Predictably perhaps, malignant cancer cells contain no rhodanese at all, leaving them completely at the mercy of the cyanide and benzaldehyde.

Any physician reading this article will probably be shaking with self-righteous indignation at this stage, muttering to himself: 'Yes, but where is the PROOF???' Right here! Most people have heard of 'spontaneous remission', where the cancer simply goes away, hopefully never to reappear. Spontaneous remissions are exceedingly rare and vary from one form of cancer to another. One virulent variety known as testicular chorionepithelioma has never been known to produce a single spontaneous remission. Perhaps for that precise reason, Dr. Krebs singled it out for special attention when proving the effectiveness of B17 Laetrile in providing total control for cancers. As Edward Griffin recounts:

"In a banquet speech in San Francisco on November 19, 1967, Dr. Ernst T. Krebs, Jr., briefly reviewed six such cases. Then he added: Now there is an advantage in not having had prior radiation, because if you have not received prior radiation that has failed, then you cannot enjoy the imagined benefits of the delayed effects of prior radiation. So this boy falls into the category of the "spontaneous regression... "

And when we look at this scientifically, we know that spontaneous regression occurs in fewer than one in 150,000 cases of cancer. The statistical possibility of spontaneous regression accounting for the complete resolution of successive cases of testicular chorionepithelioma is far greater than the statistical improbability of the sun not rising tomorrow morning."

Wisely perhaps, Griffin notes that because of the adverse publicity against B17 Laetrile, and because of the difficulties in obtaining the 'banned' substance, most cancer sufferers turn to the vitamin as a last resort, long after they have been burned by radiation therapy, and/or poisoned by chemotherapy. He points out that once the body organs have been savagely damaged in this way, there is little if any chance of B17 Laetrile being able to effect a cure. The body is simply too far gone.

When "World Without Cancer" was written back in 1974, B17 Laetrile was freely available in Australia. It is not now. A recent check with the Australian Cancer Foundation and health authorities revealed that nowadays Canberra considers each individual case on its merits, then decides whether the patient should be allowed to import sufficient of the material for his or her own personal use. If he or she manages to jump that hurdle, it is then his or her own responsibility to find a doctor prepared to inject it. Seemingly the multinational pharmaceutical lobbyists managed to get to our politicians before Dr. Krebs could get to the Australian public. Radiation and chemotherapy are highly profitable, and oncologists have to make a decent living...

Only a few months ago Australian nationwide television carried the delightful information that two out of every three Australians can expect to suffer skin cancer at least once during their lifetimes. On the massive evidence provided by Dr. Ernst Krebs, Jr. and G. Edward Griffin, that figure could be crushed to a tiny percentage of the anticipated numbers if Australians were allowed freedom of choice where B17 Laetrile is concerned. It is time for Australians to take a stand on this lethal issue.

THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'
Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant 's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.
Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.
