Not one to be happy with the status quo Ryan took the bold step of creating his first one man show, Tales from the continent and other reasons not to grow up. He first performed this show in Zagreb at Studio Smijeha. He performed to a sell out audience and was asked to return with the same show due to popular demand. He has also been invited back to perform in Zagreb, Graz and Vienna with his new one man show, No bread, just circus, which was opened, performed and delighted audiences at the beginning of May 2013.

Ryan has also starred in countless adverts for UK TV, a BBC radio play and had a supporting role in a new Slovakian TV series airing in May 2013 (it is this that he is most proud of). He is also the worlds only figure skating comedian. That’s right Jesus walked on water Ryan tells jokes and dances on the stuff. And as if all that was not enough, Herr Thornton runs two comedy clubs in Graz and Vienna where he performs together with comedians he invites over from the UK.

He currently lives in central Europe but is working all over the planet so he may be able to fit you in somewhere.
