One thing that has not been taken into account is naiodnwite vs. local data usage in respect to 2degrees. I spend 95% of my time in the big centres and therefore can get 12 GB of data for $150 in these areas. This is a lot cheaper than Telecom and Vodafone but will obviously only work for people in these areas. Hopefully as the 2degrees network grows, so will competition in rest of the country.

yup i was thinking about the McGonigal VS Schell POVs of the fuurte of gaming (+the universe and anything else) and ive got to say: Schell, i think your Gamepocalipse scenario is MUCH more probable (which is scary). I know you are making a “heads up we need to stop this” call… but some innate lack of faith in the human race makes me think it wont stop and it will happen VERY similar to what you say… (i just have to look at public addiven TV to reinforce myself in that tought pattern whenever i dont)Anyways i would be interesting to have McGonigal and you in the same room in TED… meanwhile anyting you want to comment about her POV?

My dad passed away from cplimicatoons from type 1 diabetes. I’ve had type 1 for seven years. I’ve always tried to stay on top of it and challenge myself to use the most current treatments. I came to think of him as the old dog who wouldn’t learn new tricks. He didn’t watch what he ate, he smoked and didn’t exercise much. He used syringes even when pen needles were readily available. I decided to go on the pump because I wanted the best for myself and I don’t want to suffer the cplimicatoons he did.As a mom, I’ve had my 2-year-old participate in a study to screen for type 1 and he will participate yearly. The hope is that he will never have diabetes, but if he does, I hope to catch it early to offer him the best treatment.
