I bought a legendary bow today for my demon hunter on the AH. I lucked out I suppose since it was only 9k gold, as opposed to the 200k some others were asking for it. But after 24 pages of 5 and 6 digit sale prices, I was glad to see a more reasonable price. Is it the most epic of all bows? No. But it does have some pretty stellar stats and it makes me smile to see it. Now to go kill more demons and get more rare equips for the rest of me ;)

I haven’t gotten very far with the other classes yet either, but so far the Engineer seems pretty fun for my second class.

What level is your EMage so far? Sadly it seems they block off content at a fairly low level in the beta. I hit the block when I was level 20 or 21.

I can’t wait for the game to launch so I can take my mage through all of the content!

I’m playing with the Ember Mage as well. I usually play casters, so it was my first choice. I’m still low level (it’s hard to play much during the week because of work), but I had a great time with it. I do love me some fireballs. :)

I want to give the other classes a try as well when I get the chance, but I’ll probably run all the way through the beta with the Mage first. I do remember playing with melee classes on the first Torchlight and I didn’t really like it a lot, so the Outlander will most likely be my second choice, but I love getting surprised. I am playing a Monk on Diablo 3, after all. ;)

The only times I have to go back to town are usually for quest turn ins :D

Which class is your favorite? I am loving the Ember Mage and will most likely stick with it for my main.

That’s true, loot drop is all about chance, but I think the game should make a little more effort to balance it in a way to improve the odds of good loot dropping for your character, so you’re not forced to play with alts just to feel you’re not wasting great loot. I’ll probably won’t play with more than one character, and wasting rare loot is quite frustrating.

The pet however is heaven-sent. When I was playing the Diablo 3 beta I kept wishing I had a pet similar to those on Torchlight. Sending them to town to sell crap removes a lot of downtime from the game, so it’s one of those things I just can’t live without.

Maybe you were just having bad luck with the loot drops, I got quite a few nice rare pieces I could use. You can also enchant your gear, making the stats much nicer and extending the usability of the item.

The nice thing about all the loot that drops is that you can send your pet to sell for you at any time you want. As soon as your inventory fills up, transfer it to your pet, click “Send to Town”, and you are ready to start killing stuff and getting loot again!

Yeah, I’m trying to figure out what’s that all about. It should be getting the number directly from Feedburner… but it’s not being successful at that. My trackbacks/pingbacks are also not working apparently. Fixing both is on my to-do list.

It wouldn’t be a website if everything was working perfectly, I suppose.
