Global Voices also includes special features, such as The Future of ICT for Development, which focuses the potential for communication technologies to “assist human development.”  Global Voices will also be covering a live webcast tonight (September 23) at 7pm where panelists will discuss “Communication and Human Development: The Freedom Connection?” The panel will be streamed by video and audio over the web and is open to the public.

My only complaint is that the archive claims to contain 1981-current year, however, when I tried searches for articles from 1981, 1985 and 1994 I got nothing.  So when does the online archive actually begin? 1998.  Hmmm, this librarian says more work on this feature is in order.
