Hi! I want to say thank you for an interesting post about a subject I have had an interest in for a while now. I have been reading the comments avidly, and just wanted to express my gratitude for providing me with thought-provoking reading material. I look forward to more, and of taking an active part in the resulting back and forth discussions. An added bonus is the opportunity to expand my knowledge.

I actually wanted to write down a simple comment in order to thank you for all of the stunning recommendations you are showing at your website. My incredibly long internet search has finally paid off with extremely good knowledge to share with my family. I would assume that many of us visitors are very fortunate to be in a good place with very many wonderful individuals with good things. I feel truly privileged to have encountered this website and look forward to tons of more pleasurable minutes reading here. Thanks a lot once again for all the details.

A word from a full time webmaster. Your internet site turns up all over the web, you must be doing all the old-line things. Possessing such a popular internet site is not painless. Reckoned I would join in and link to you.

This is really interesting, and very sobering. What a sad story. But it does put a human face on the problem, and that at least helps us to understand.

So to answer the question posed in the title of this article, yes and no. You are probably stuck with the genes you’re born with, but how you choose to use those genes (and pass them on to your children) depends on how you choose to live. Even if you are past your reproductive years, the behaviors that you instill in your kids and grandkids can alter their genes and their future generations, so why not alter them for the better?

My 20-part series on Epigenetics has nothing to do with doctoral dissertations; it is written solely for the enjoyment and edification of my readers. It should not be part of any doctoral work, except, of course, for routine research. Therefore, there are no instructions for the readers to concern themselves with.
