Dear Elin,
I am so very sorry for your loss. The death of an animal companion must not be minimized. They show us their souls and reverberate with our own.
Here's a true and silly story to distract you for a moment.
When writing an article, I once misplaced the interviewee's address so I could send her a printed copy. Embarrassed, I called her to explain that, like you, I put it “somewhere safe," and couldn't find it. "Oh!" she said, "I used to do that, but I found a solution. I put a big box in my laundry room and I wrote on it "SOMEWHERE SAFE," and that's where I now keep those things!"

I know EXACTLY what you mean about that. Time is hard to find when you want to create, market your work and also use social sites for marketing and for also being an activist to help save and protect animals like Wild horses that being completely eradicated from their homes in the wild. Time.....you said it all.

Cheers,

What a cool idea, Elaine! I think you're right-on about the 5" x 5" size being perfect for the economic times. Yet another example of down-sizing!
They remind me of ACEOs which also intrigue me.
My only complaints are that these images are too small to get a sense of the paintings and when I checked your website, it's not updated to include these minis. The second part of that complaint is that I'd like an idea of the price relative to the prices of your other work.
In other words, they're so fascinating, I want more info!
Thanks,
mym
