Very interesting; I never had that view on what was happening and out-of-accountable expenditures. Thanks for sharing your insight.

Does anyone have any ideas on good Balanced Scorecard measures for a transaction-based entity? We take transactions over 3 channels - Over-the-counter; Online and Teleservices and are trying to determine if there are already any measures in existence that we could easily implement for our Scorecard.
We are not sure if we should be measuring the cost per minute, the cost per transaction (but different transactions take different amounts of time to process); or another cost per ?. In addition, what measures are used to measure Online performance? Our online is used for transactions with payment taking; transactions without payment taking; drawing reports; and/or searching for information.

I personally think Twitter is a waste of personal time and employer's time whether in the financial public sector or outside. While I am in the heavy-user age group I am offended when my fellow employees spend so much time on facebook and twitter during employer paid work time and the remainder of us have to shoulder extra-work load. I think they are stealing from the government and taxpayer but that is just my opinion. So as an employer, I would screen out those that are heavy-duty facebook and twitter users!
