Saw your interview with Evan Soloman earlier pertaining to Omar Khadar. I totally agree with you about his grievous act against American soldiers wanting to make Afghanistan free and without any opeum poppy fields that are the cause of much ot drugs that infiltrate into the rest of the world.

But we know Al Qaeta was behind all this stuff in Afghanistan, and yet we seem to be on their side in Syria and earlier in Libya. Are they “with us or against us” as friend George W. said when he was president. What should Canada do with respect to possible Nato involvement in Syria? Support the bad guys in the hope that they are not as bad as the really bad guys?

The US has much longer prison sentences, and far more people in prison, than any other country in the supposedly “free” world.

When your unsupervised release period is up, you might consider going elsewhere. If you want to make a little money overseas to help pay the bills, you might be able to get a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. Might want to look into that when the time comes.

You know that the intel program is effective and crucial to public safety when even pro-GZM dhimmi Mayor Bloomberg defends it.

As you may know, there was a federal amendment — introduced by a Democrat, naturally, Rush Holt of NJ — recently put up for vote that would have had the effect of crippling the NYPD’s ongoing ability to protect NYC by surveillance of Muslim mosques and other Muslim venues.

The U.S. House of Representatives vote tally on this is revealing (“Aye” means “go ahead and cripple the NYPD’s ability to defend NYC”, and “Nay” of course means “No, do NOT implement this amendment”):

The NYPD knows that NYC is most likely to be Ground Zero for the next attempted major attack – and there will be more attempts. When the chips are down, it’s up to NYPD to connect all the dots in time to thwart those attacks, and the bulk of the responsibility is theirs.

I strongly recommend that every state and major city take the bulk of the responsibility for securing all of the major transportation, communication, and energy assets within their jurisdictions. That includes everything: nuke plants, power grids, seaports, airports, dams and reservoirs, water and sewer systems, subways, railroad stations and bridges, highways, Internet trunks, you name it. The federal government may be able to catch some of the perps and forestall some attacks, but when the rubber meets the road, we need more levels of security, and that’s where state and local authorities come in.

I live in an unincorporated area and I like it that way! After 9-11, I began to feel uncomfortable around densely populated areas. Even so, county sheriffs might want to consider training and deputizing law-abiding citizens to help secure the safety of the above assets!

Intelligence services and the NYPD are more realistic about the threat than politicians and news media.
