Glad your “adventure” turned out OK in the end. Personally, I’ve had very good experiences with the medical system in Abruzzo. I can’t compare it to other European countries, but when I compare it to the US it is much better.

This is one of these pieces of mixed information that is hard to be certain about. I’ve see the festa twice and each time I was told by the locals of Loreto Aprutino that the angel was played by a boy.

But if you do an internet search you’ll see references to the angel being played by a girl.

If I was a betting man, I’d put money on the tradition being that the angel is played by a boy. But I might lose my bet.

The honest answer is I’m not sure.

If I do it I’ll probably aim to have it available by the end of September. Last year I put it out too late to have any impact.

At least I know that with your interest I’ll at least match last years sales numbers

Oh how true. Every festival and every religious procession here in town includes a marching band. They usually spend the entire day here, performing at various times throughout the day.
